Beloved husband of the former Jean Willison. Loving father of Graeme Haggett (Brenda) of Jasper, Ken Haggett of Addison, Paul Haggett (Angela) of Athens and John Haggett of R.R.#2, Addison. Sadly missed by three grandchildren Leah, Luke and Connor, as well as one great-granddaughter Madison. Dear brother of Joe Haggett (Evelyn) of Addison, Rodger Haggett (Donna) of Kingston, Helena Phillips (Cork) of Delta, Janice Gray also of Delta and Sharon Haggett of R.R.#4, Mallorytown. Also survived by his mother-in-law Margaret Willison of Brockville, as well as several nieces and nephews. December 26, 1922 - March 20, 2002 Peacefully passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital in Comox, B.C. after a determined battle with cancer. Born and raised in Marysville, N.B., the eldest child of Cyril and Valerie (Hazlett) Grey. In 1940, at the tender age of 17 he joined the Royal Canadian Army (104th Anti-tank Battery) serving in England, France, Germany and Italy during World War II. After the war he returned to Marysville, married and settled into civilian life. In 1953 he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force working in the communications trade with postings in Navan and Carp, Ontario; Mt. Uniacke and Gorsebrook, Nova Scotia. Sgt. Grey retired from the RCAF in 1987 and took up employment with Canada Post in Ottawa. After retiring from the Post Office in 1990, he and his wife Peggy moved to Courtenay, B.C. Left to mourn his passing, a sister Claudia Buchanan, Carleton Place, Ontario and five children; Diana MacDonnell (Mort) and Freda Martin of Courtenay, B.C., Carol Hamelin (Jerry) and James Grey (Sandra) of Ottawa, Ontario; Shirley Out (Peter) of Port Moody, B.C., 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and special friends. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Kingsley of Picton, Ontario; his beloved wife of nearly 55 years, Margaret (Peggy) and a grandson Scott MacDonnell. Resting at the Alfred Dallaire Complexe Newman, 7200 Newman Blvd., Lasalle on Tuesday, March 26 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral on Wednesday, March 27, 2002 at 9:30 a.m. at the Missione Madre dei Christiani Church, 7935 Thierry Street, Lasalle, followed by entombment at the Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery, La Pieta. An (accident free) highway driver for 43 years for Smiths and CP Transports At home March 23, 2002. Gordon Lepage age 68. Son of the late Daniel Lepage and Marie Taillefer of Ramseyville, Ontario. Dear brother of Jeannette Lepage Barton, Marion Laurin, Irene Lepage, George, and the late Victor and Lucien. Cherished friend of Margaret Jackson (Lyn Brasseur), Bryan Brown and very best friend of Janet Mahoney-Rose (Lepage). Also survived by several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Gordon will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
