After a brief illness, in his 87th year, Jack passed away on February 19, 2002 with the love and support of his family surrounding him. Jack leaves behind his beloved wife Dorothy (nee Patterson), his dear brother Wesley (Joan), his much-loved sons Jack (Elvie), Lance (Joan) and Donald (Nancy). Jack's legacy includes his treasured grandchildren Terry (Tim), Jeff (Jocelyn), Richard and Leslie, his great-grandchildren Jennifer (Andrew), Jeffrey, Edward and Jack, and his great-great grandson Callum. He will be sadly missed by special family members Donna, Susan, Sandra, Ron, Jamie, Sophie and Ali. Jack's career spanned over five decades and included dedication to his country through both military and Public Service. His passion for living was illustrated through his love of family, music, travel, the cultural arts and a beautiful sense of humour. His personal cure for boredom was curiosity, and this philosophy guided his life. She died suddenly, Feb. 14, at Notre-Dame Hospital after a sudden illness. Born Sept. 23, 1943 at Pagwa River, she moved to Constance Lake in her teens. A homemaker, whe enjoyed hunting, trapping and the outdoors. teen Predeceased by her father George Iserhoff Jr in 1947, her brother Thomas John Sutherland in 1985, and stepfather Simon Solomon in 2000, she leaves her husband William Ineese of Constance Lake, her mother Frances Solomon, sisters Georgina Wesley and Linda Ineese, all of Constance Lake, mother-in-law Hattie Peunish, sister-in-law Juliette Sutherland, and 10 nieces and 11 nephews. Pastor Corey Ferguson of Hearst officiated the afternoon service at the Full Gospel Church. Interment followed at the Constance Lake burial ground.

Mattice resident René R. Labelle, 71, of 254 Parkview died Feb. 15 at Notre-Dame Hospital. Born Sept. 30, 1930 in Mattice, he worked at Levesque Lumber until its 1992 closing. A member of the Mattice Club d'Age d'Or , he enjoyed bingo, playing cards, berry picking, and gardening. Predeceased by his father Ludgier Labelle in 1989 and a son Daniel Labelle, he leaves his wife Claudette (née Labranche) of Mattice, his mother Juliette Labelle of Kapuskasing, sons Michel (Ginette) of Winnipeg and Gaetan of Rouyn-Noranda, Que., and Stéphane Bouchard of B. C., and daughters Carole (Scott) Campbell of Edson, Alberta. Also surviving are sisters Irène Grondin, Rollande, Armande and Florence, and brothers Fernand, Réal, Donald, Léonard and Denis Labelle, as well as eight grandchildren. Rev. René Grandmont will officiate the service at St-François-Xavier Church in Mattice.

Born in Opasatika on June 24, 1929 (St. Jean the Baptist Day), Jeannine married Bill in Timmins in 1959. Jeannine was a prefessional mother and housemaker, but also worked for 17 years at the post office in Kapuskasing. She found great joy spending time with her family and grandchildren, as well as playing euchre with Anne (Bill's sister) and Hank Peters... or anyone else who would play cards. A memorial service will be held at a future date and interment will take place at the Kapuskasing cemetery at that time.

Beloved husband of Minden (Bill Harry-Mackin). Loving uncle of Sally (Austin) Blois. Survived by his step-daughters Janice and Julie, and his step-son Arthur Silvester. Predeceased by his sister and two brothers. Also survived by his sister Emily and his brothers John and Robert and many nieces and nephews in Belfast, Ireland. Private family service.
