Died May 13, 2001, after a courageous battle. Beloved husband of Bonnie. Cherished and devoted father of Dimitri and George, sisters Anastasia (George Barakaris), Georgia (Chris Karabatsos), nieces and nephews Claire (Frank Pappas), and daughter Elena, Maggie Barakaris, Vasili, Dimitri and Sophia Karabatsos. He will be sadly missed by brother Kosta and his family in Greece. He was a man who celebrated each day with a smile. He will be greatly missed by his family and dear friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 3517 Levesque Blvd. West, Chomedey, Laval. Sean is the beloved grandson of Mary Ann and the late Larry Boyle of Ottawa, and of Murat and the late Hilde Avdovich (formerly of Arnprior). He is a much loved nephew of Lawrence, Martha and Peter Boyle of Ottawa, Elizabeth Boyle of Western Australia, Mark Boyle of Halifax, and Allison (Richard Ellard) of Perth, Hajro Avdovich (Arlene) of Arnprior, Renate (Wayne Landry) of Timmins and Rick Avdovich (Lynn) of Lucan. He is survived by many cousins and great aunts and uncles, all of whom he loved dearly. Sean leaves many friends, most notably his school family of Notre Dame School in Carleton Place, his kind neighbours in town, and his friends at Mijiwam (The Mills) in Almonte. On May 12, 2001 after a long illness at the Lakeshore General Hospital passed away Andre Douville, aged sixty-six years. Predeceased by his wife Jacqueline, survived by his children Michel (Lucie), Claude (Pauline), Lyne (Gilles) and Joanne (Steve) and his grandchildren: Patrick, Jonathan, Caroline, Andree-Anne, Eric, Amelie, Alex, Vincent, Daphane and Liam. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews. Grandmother of ten adoring grandchildren and great-grandmother of two. She is survived by her three sisters Anne MacCallum (Thunder Bay, Ont.), Regina Randall (Dauphin, Man.) and Bertha Schraefel (Winnipeg, Man.). She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Kay was a devoted nurse and spent the latter part of her career as a head nurse at the Royal Ottawa Hospital. A devout Catholic, she gave generously of herself to those in need.
