KUSTURIN, RoseAnn (nee Morrow) - In loving memory of RoseAnn (nee Morrow) Kusturin, 76 years, who passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 8th, 2009 at the Pioneer Manor, Sudbury. RoseAnn was a dedicated registered nurse having worked at Sudbury General Hospital, Laurentian Hospital, Extendicare-York retiring from the Regency Residence. She enjoyed music, playing Bridge and Scramble. She appreciated the beauty of nature enjoying feeding the chipmunks or watching the chickadees. RoseAnn was happiest when in the company of her loving family whether hosting a family dinner or enjoying a visit from her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed and her light and love will always be well remembered. Special thanks to the staff at Pioneer Manor for their excellent care and support. Beloved wife of William Kusturin predeceased 2004. Loving mother of Regina (husband Bill Virgo), Nancy (husband Larry Stefanato), Kelly (husband Mike Champaigne), David (wife Debbie) and Angela (partner Christian Segovia). Cherished grandmother of Maggie Champaigne, Jordan Champaigne, David Virgo, Victoria Kusturin, Jennifer Sonhi, John Kusturin, Gina Stefanato, Vanessa Stefanato and great grandchildren Seth and Jersey. Dear daughter of Justin and Margaret Morrow predeceased. Alexina Landry - C’est avec tristesse que la famille d’Alexina Landry, annonce son décès, à l’âge de 87 ans, le mercredi 8 avril 2009, à l’Hôpital Stella-Maris de Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, après une courageuse lutte contre le cancer. Elle était l’épouse de feu Lionel Landry. Née le 30 mars 1922 à Saint-Louis-de-Kent, elle était fille de feu Willie et Lucie (Guimond) Comeau. POSTUMA, Tjitske "Theresa" 2009-04-09 Tjitske "Theresa" Postuma (nee Sijbesma) went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, April 8, 2009. As her family, we have been blessed with our dear mother’s long life of 97 years. Celebrating her life are her children and (grandchildren): Ann & Cecil Haagsma (Caroline & Jeff; Trudy; Elaine & Travis; Sarah), Ray & Jane Postuma (Joan & Rolly; Ron & Myriam; Tim & Erika; Lynnette & Randall), John & Marge Postuma (Ted & Natasha; Christine & Jason; Michelle & Paul; Laura & Jonathan; Sarah & Ryan), Wilma & Tony Kempe (Emma & Jesse), Ben & Patricia Postuma (Justin & Stephanie; Brandon & Natalie; Seamus & April; Tomas; Bridget) and twenty one great-grandchildren. She is also survived sisters Evertje and Grace & Art, brother Sijbe and sisters-in-law Aaltje and Sietske. Tjitske and her husband Bindert Postuma emigrated from the Netherlands to Winnipeg in 1951 and moved to Thunder Bay in 1952. Tjitske was predeceased by Bindert in 1993 and spent her last years at Glacier Ridge and Pinewood Court, where she passed away. Mrs. Postuma was a longtime member of the First Christian Reformed Church where a memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Henry VanderBeek officiating. A private family interment will take place prior to the service. It is with great sorrow that the family of Rex Arthur Mallett announce his passing on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at 50 years of age in a tragic car accident. Rex was a long-time employee of Patterson Dental. He was the common-law husband of Monique Dubois who passed away in the accident with him. MILJEVIC, James “Jim“ - Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side at the Welland Hospital on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Rose (nee Belcastro) for over 50 years. Loving father of Joanne Massiah (Chris) and Margaret Weigel (Glenn). Cherished grandfather of Alex, Max, Bryan and Stephanie. BURRELL, Dennis Robert - passed away peacefully April 7, 2009 surrounded by family and friends at the age of 60 years. Dearly beloved father, he will be greatly missed by his children, Lauren and Cody Burrell, Calgary, beloved sister Lynn (Bradley) Miller, New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, niece and nephew, Kirk Miller, Calgary and Shara (Jamie) Lank, New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. Born and raised in Cornwall, Ontario, Dennis received his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Windsor in 1973 and later moved to Banff to work at the Banff Springs Hotel. A well respected realtor in Ontario and Calgary for over thirty years.
