After many years of service to the Lord's work, she has gone to be with Him. Loretta is survived by a sister-in-law Emelia (late Sylvester Benoit) as well as many nieces and nephews. ITO, Hiromi October 23, 1945 - March 20, 2009 Hiromi Ito passed away peacefully on March 20, 2009, after a long fight with cancer at the Foothills Hospital. She will be deeply missed by her husband Yoshiaki of forty years, and her daughter Yayoi. She was born in Japan on October 23, 1945. She immigrated to Canada in July 1970. She worked at Gulf Canada Resources for twenty years. After retiring she enjoyed golf, curling, wood carving, paper crafts and shuji (Japanese calligraphy). Hiromi was the backbone of the family providing support and care to all. She will be remembered as a wonderful loving mother, as a caring wife, and a generous friend. Her youthful spirit will forever be remembered in the hearts of all who knew her. In respect of Hiromi's wishes, no funeral Service will be held. STROUD, Michael James - Passed away peacefully following a brief battle with cancer at the North Bay General Hospital on Thursday March 19, 2009. Mike was in his 66th year and is survived by his loving Wife Meata (nee Williams). He will be sadly missed by his children Jamie (Tiffany) and Jeff (Wendy). Michael was the loving grandfather of Hannah and Nicholas. He will be fondly remembered by brothers Jay (Cathy), Dennis, and Jim and his sister Joanne (Andy) Hamilton. John moved to Chapleau Ontario at the age of 7 and except for 2 years, lived and worked in Chapleau all his life, before moving to North Bay in September 2008. John was a dedicated member of the IOOF for over 70 years and loved spending time at his camp in Healy. He was involved with the Chapleau Town Band for 60 years, 30 of which as Band Master. FORESI, Leo A. - Passed away surrounded by his family at the Port Colborne General Hospital on Sunday March 22, 2009 in his 83rd year. Loving husband to Marion Foresi (nee Herbert). He will be dearly missed by his children Nancy Baer (Don), Gary Foresi (Donnett) and Edward Foresi (Heather). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Janet Ferland (Mike), Donald Baer Jr. (Cheryl), Derek Foresi (Amanda), Jodi Willford, Jason Lasovich, Amanda, Adam Foresi, William Foresi, April Coxon and Laura Foresi. He will also be missed by his great- grandchildren Ashley and Alisha Ferland, Erin and Ashton Baer and Jenna Foresi. Leo is predeceased by his daughter Cindy Lasovich (March 14, 2009), grandson Justin Lasovich, father Espartero Foresi, mother Teresa Belvederesi and step-father Edward Foresi as well as his sister Olga Gelsumini and brother Alf Foresi.
