Loving brother of Claudette Wisniewski (Andy) of Levack and Mark Laberge (Sirkka) and Jimmy Laberge (Patsy) both of Dowling. GORDON, Isabel (nee Einarson) - In loving memory of Isabel Ellene Gordon who passed away on Friday, July 25th, 2008 at Extendicare York at the age of 90. Isabel was raised in Rosseau, Ontario by Icelandic parents Etta & Vigfus Einarson. She moved to Sudbury shortly after her marriage to James Gordon (predeceased) . Special Mother of Kenneth (predeceased) wife Susan of Niagara Falls; Myrna, husband Douglas Gingrich of Lively; and Stanley, wife Frank of Sault Saint Marie. Awesome grandmother of Todd Gordon (Lisa) , Lorelee Gordon (Rob) , Tara Bell (Jamie) , Scott Gingrich (Jennifer) , Kathy Gordon, Mary Gordon, and Debbie Henry. Loving great grandmother of: Lauren and Michael Bell; Kelly, Tyler, and Jason Gingrich and Clive Henry. She was predeceased by four brothers. Isabel is survived by one sister-in- law Dorthy Einarson and special friends Helen Dubord and the women in her Bible Study Group. Isabel worked at the Sudbury Memorial Hospital in the dietitians office until her retirement in 1982. Isabel was an incredible lady. The world is a better place because she lived. Mo served in the Canadian Air Force and at Avril Aircraft and then worked at Otis Elevators until his retirement. Mo loved traveling; with trips to Africa, England, Trinidad and The Bahamas. He was an avid baseball fan and will be missed by his team-mates of the Jordan-Vineland 1946 OASA Juvenile Champs. RENNIE, Winifred (Buckley) October 6, 1925 - July 24, 2008 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother following a brief illness in Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock, a sadness tempered by the sure knowledge that she is now safe and secure in the everlasting arms of her beloved Jesus. Winifred was born in York, England and is survived by Russell Grant Rennie, her devoted husband of sixty-three years; her sister Eileen Hume of York, England; her daughters Jane (Fred) Kline of White Rock, Nan (Boyd) Clarke of Philadelphia, Paula (Marc Thibaudeau) Rennie of Lunenburg, Patricia (Dick) Stel of Calgary, her adopted daughter Grace Ho of Toronto; eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and her close friends, Irene Mainwood of Abbotsford, Ada Balzun of Calgary and Esther Loewen and Jean and Bruce Harger of White Rock. Winifred was predeceased by Mary Jacques, another dear Calgary friend. BUDDO, Wilson Charles. 1915-2008. Suddenly but peacefully at Evergreen House on July 24, 2008 at the age of ninety-three. Wilson was predeceased by his darling "Ellie" in March 2004 after 63 years of marriage. Wilson is survived by his only daughter, Dianne Griffith (Ken), two grandchildren Deryl Griffith (Stephanie) and Vikki Kazakoff (Dennis) whom he adored and four wonderful great-grandchildren Tyler and Madison Griffith and Clarissa and Alexander Kazakoff. Wilson and Eleanor retired to Vancouver from Montreal in 1970 and managed an apartment complex for over 25 years...he retired from that when he was 81 and they moved to West Vancouver. After Eleanor passed he was a lonely soul but still lived on his own until this past March. Private service to be held in September. Born in Saskatchewan and raised in Queenston and St. Catharines. Ruby cared diligently for her growing family in Niagara Falls, St. Catharines, Toronto and Brantford, as Wilfrid progressed in life insurance management, and they spent their retirement in Florida and Stamford. Recently she resided in Kitchener and Cambridge. We salute the passing of a gracious and always thankful lady.
