TITTEL, Sarah (Sally) Ann (Holgate) - passed away peacefully Sunday, February 3rd, 2008 with her family by her side, at the Sherwood Park Manor, Brockville, in her 96th year. Formally of Cornwall and Valleyfield, Quebec, she was the loving wife of the late Max Tittel. Loving mother of Donna Wilson (Gib), of Prescott, proud grandmother of James Scott of New York City, and Kelly Anne of Brockville, and great-grandmother of Olivia and Maya of Brockville. She is also survived by her sisters Harriet (Patti) Dawson (late Clarence) of Gatineau, Quebec and Lily Lalande of Montreal, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Harriet Holgate, and her brother Samuel Holgate. As per Sally's wishes a private family funeral was held Wednesday, February 6th, 2008 in the chapel of McArthur Bros. & MacNeil Funeral Home and Chapel, 428 Second Street East, Cornwall (613-932-6300). ALDRIDGE, Dennis William July 22, 1947 - February 5, 2008 Beloved father of Faydra and Carissa, Dennis passed away suddenly at the Foothills Hospital on February 5, 2008. Dennis was born and raised in Calgary where he made many friends throughout the years. He worked in the oil and gas sector before opening a group home for individuals affected with mental health issues. Eventually, his health caused him to close down his group home. One of his greatest loves, apart from his daughters, was to restore and display vintage vehicles. Dennis was a proud member of the Calgary Camero Club, at one time holding the position of president. He enjoyed attending and displaying at Show and Shines around the southern part of the province. Dennis was predeceased by his father William (Bill) and his brother Darrell. He is survived by his mother Mary of Cardston; daughters, Faydra (Scott) and Carissa; his brothers, Leonard (Laurel), Gordon (Pat) and Bruce (Yvonne); and numerous nieces and nephews. A Service to commemorate his life will be held at the Tanner Senior Centre, Cardston, AB at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 8, 2008. BAILLOD, Joan Elizabeth September 6, 1930 - February 4, 2008 Joan Elizabeth Baillod (nee Iddiols), passed away at the Mackenzie Towne Care Centre on Monday, February 4, 2008 at the age of 77 years. She is survived by her son Brad (Sandy) Baillod, and daughters, Bev (Mike) Pannett and Jenny (Fred) Kinas. She was predeceased by her husband Cliff in 1997. She is also survived by her sister Mary Parkins. She leaves behind grandchildren, Todd (Amy) Pannett, Tracy (Michael Campbell) Pannett, Lane and Carmen Kinas; and great-grandchildren, Nate and Ty Pannett. Although dementia claimed the person we knew years ago, her passing leaves a new hole in our lives. BAXTER, Carol September 12, 1948 - February 3, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of Carol Mae Baxter (nee Bow), loving wife of Rodney and mother of Candice and Ryan announce her passing after losing her courageous battle with cancer. Carol was born in Swift Current, SK where she met and married Rod in 1969, and then moved to Calgary two years later. Taking care of her family, as well as traveling to many different places, fulfilled her journey through life. Carol and Rod retired in 2006 and moved to Pincher Creek, AB were they spent many days camping with friends in the mountains then traveling to Yuma, AZ in the winter. Carol will be missed dearly by those that are left behind, that includes Rod her husband of thirty-eight years, daughter Candice, son Ryan, brothers Rod and Lyle Bow, stepfather Ed Carlson as well as numerous relatives and close friends. For those who would like to attend, there will be a luncheon for her family and friends on Saturday, February 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grace United Church in Swift Current, SK located at 405 - 4 Avenue S.E. CLINGMAN, Ruth Ellen (Henry) January 19, 1958 - February 4, 2008 Ruth, beloved wife, mother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends after a courageous eighteen-month battle with cancer. Ruth is lovingly remembered by her husband Brent; son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Kandice; daughter, Cobi; sister, Dawn Wipf and brother, Bill Henry (Trish), numerous nieces and nephews and sister-in-law, Teena. Ruth is also survived by a wonderful group of friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Marjorie Seney, dad, Ken Henry and brother, Brian Henry. Ruth was born and raised in the Blackie/High River area, spending many years working at the Blackie School. She treasured her time with family and friends. She was quick witted and her sense of humor brought many a laugh. She was a tireless volunteer and enjoyed many outdoor activities. Services will be held Friday, February 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Full Gospel Church located at 1802 - 9 Avenue S.E., High River. In 1969, Peter and Shirley moved their family to Sarnia and Peter took the position of Vice-Principal and teacher at Northern Collegiate. Peter retired in 1989 and dedicated his retirement years to his beloved family. Peter thoroughly enjoyed life. He was an avid walker, eternal optimist, and lover of life. Peter was always ready with a good joke and could see humour in life's experiences. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. (Frère Nestor) Frère Gilles Drouin, de la communauté des Frères des Écoles Chrétiennes, est décédé à la Maison St-Joseph, à Québec, le 22 janvier 2008, à l’âge de 85 ans et 1 mois. Fils de Georges-Étienne Drouin et d’Antoinette Janelle, il naquit à La-Baie-du-Febvre, le 8 décembre 1922. Entré chez les F.É.C. en 1940, il enseigna une dizaine d’années au pays, puis fut missionnaire pendant 37 ans au Cameroun et pendant 8 ans en Haïti, Depuis 1998, il menait une retraite active d’abord à Trois-Rivières, puis à Québec. Il laisse dans le deuil, outre les membres de sa famille religieuse, une sœur, Mme Annette (M.
