JACOB, Reine 1946 - 2007 Au Centre St-Vincent de Sherbrooke, le 24 août 2007, Reine Jacob, à l'âge de 61 ans, s'est éteinte paisiblement, après un long et courageux combat contre la sclérose en plaques. Elle est allée rejoindre ses parents feu Ozanne Auger et feu Paul-Henri Jacob. Elle laisse dans le deuil sa tante Jeannine Jacob, sa cousine Carol-Ann Jacob, sa petite-cousine Marie-Anne Riquelme Jacob, son cousin Adrien Auger ainsi que plusieurs autres cousins, cousines, parents et amis. Remerciements à son bon ami Pierre Boucher pour le support apporté à Reine, ces dernières années. Selon sa volonté, elle ne sera pas exposée. Cherished grandfather of Patrick (Noriko) Bouffard, Danielle (Cederic) Gagnon, and Christiaan, Shawn and Adrian Anderson. Proud great-grandfather of Gabrielle Gagnon and Kiyomi Bouffard. Born in Huntsville, Ontario, Lorne is survived by dearest sister-in-law Lillian Anderson and numerous nieces and nephews. Brother of the late Emil Anderson, Anetta Nelles and Thelma Forrest. HARRY MELVILLE MORRISON 1923-2007 With family by his side, Harry passed away on Friday, August 17, 2007 at King Place Retirement Residence at age 84. Beloved husband of the late Beulah Wilson and father of Joy, her husband Ron Stockburn, and Debbie and her husband Wayne Carrigan. Harry adored his five grandchildren and will be sadly missed by Matthew, Michael, Merideth, Jennifer, and Melanie. An exceptional hockey player in his youth, Harry's aspiration for a professional career was interrupted by his distinguished service in the Canadian Navy during World War 2. On June 6, 1944, D-Day, Harry celebrated his twenty-first birthday aboard the Mine Sweeper Malpeque in the English Channel leading the Allied liberation of Europe. Upon his return to civilian life, Harry became an Electrician by trade and was employed by the Canadian Steamship Lines. Later, he had a long and valued career at the Mental Health Centre, Penetanguishene until his retirement in 1988 as Head of the Maintenance Department. Known for his quick wit and generous nature, Harry was well liked by all who had the good fortune to meet him. Harry was an active and respected member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 80, in Midland, as well as a Mason, Caledonian Lodge 249. Visitation was held at the Nicholl's Funeral Home on August 20, 2007 followed by a private family service conducted by the Royal Canadian Legion on Tuesday, August 21, 2007. Interment was at the Lakeview Cemetery, King Street, Midland. Special thanks are offered to the supportive and caring staff at King Place Residence. Jean was born in Conquest, SK and attended Business College in Winnipeg, MB, later joining the R.C.A.F. She moved to Edmonton where she met Ken and started her family. Also survived by his brother Austin Fitzgerald, and his sister Mary Grandy both of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Also missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Howard and Rebecca Fitzgerald and his sister Marion Swaine. George was born in Canso, Nova Scotia, May 24, 1925, and served in W.W. II, from 1939-1945. FEHR, Agatha Elsie (nee Fast) - Aged 82, of St. Catharines, passed away at Linhaven Home on August 29, 2007 after a long battle with kidney disease. Agatha will be missed greatly by her partner Cedric Small; brother Cornie Fast; sisters Margaret Krause and Helen Fehr; daughters Linda, Caroline, Irene and Laura. Grandmother of Greta, Ted, Patti, Andrea, Tyler, Darwin and Donna. Agatha was predeceased by husband Cornelius and daughter Shirley Anne. Born in Towiesckoy (Elisabethtal), the Ukraine, Agatha lived most of her life in St. Catharines. After working in the local fruit industry, she moved on to Towers Department Store, where she remained until retirement. Agatha will be remembered for her love of nurturing plants, her extensive gardening knowledge and baking skills.
