KOTLER, Jacob Samuel. (1999-2007) Jacob Samuel Kotler beloved son of Robert and Richelle Kotler of Calgary, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2007 at the age of eight years. Jacob loved to sing, dance and play and he was known as the "entertainer." He had genuine loving heart that he shared openly with everyone. OBITUARY PHILIPPE ULYSSE MAROULIS November 13, 1941 - June 25, 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Philippe in Montreal, on June 25, 2007. Predeceased by his parents Ourania and Efstratios and his brothers George and Peter. Cherished brother of Eleni (Jimmy) and Pauline, dear friend of Andre who always kept him smiling, his sisters-in-law Vaughan (George) and Marion (Peter), his step sister Irene. His four legged friend Phoebe who spent many hours entertaining him, as well as his many nieces, nephews and cousins in Montreal, California and Greece. Philippe who was Mayor of South Stuckley, Quebec for eight years will be remembered by his friends for his fun loving and mischievous spirit and by his clients as a caring and professional Notary. Special thanks to the staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital and more especially to the staff of ICU and Dr. Marcelo Lannes for their unwavering and compassionate support. BROWN, MADELINE VIRGINIA - Madeline Virginia Brown, 85, of Seal Cove, Grand Manan, N.B., passed away at the Grand Manan Hospital on Thursday, June 28, 2007, after a lengthy illness. Born in Woodwards Cove, she was the daughter of the late Ambrose and Faye (Ingersoll) Monroe. Mrs. Brown was the bookkeeper for several years for General Marine and then, upon her husbands death owned and operated the family business until selling it, after which she was employed by Connor Bros. (Seal Cove Plant) until her retirement in 1986. She was a faithful member of the Seal Cove Baptist Church, where she participated in the Ladies Missionary Society and also as a Sunday School Teacher. She is survived by one daughter: Cheryl (Arthur) Brown, North Head; seven sisters: Agnes Black, Thyra Plochl, Mary Graves, Helen Rose, Rose Harvey, Carol Guptill, Sylvia Cromie; four grandchildren; one great grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Brown was predeceased by her husband Wallie in 1964; one son Gregory in 1993; three sisters Marguerite Winchester, Alice Wilcox, Edith Parker; two brothers George and Theodore Monroe; two baby grandsons. The family will receive friends and relatives at Ells Funeral Home on Sunday, July 1st, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the Seal Cove Baptist Church on Monday, July 2nd, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. POIRIER, Shawn - It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Newbury, Ontario, on June 3, 2007, at the young age of 35. Beloved husband of Marla (Calcutt). LORENSON, Simone (née Ouellet) À Montréal, le 26 juin, est décédée Simone Lorenson épouse de Aldo Lorenson. Outre son mari, elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Silvia (feu Edouard Baudry) Gilio (François Lemieux), Léo (Marcelle Deschenes) et Claude (Pandora DeGreen), ses petits-enfants Mia (Luigi Confalone), Chloé, Hugo, Thomas, Jean-François, et Patrick et son arrière-petite-fille Elsa. Elle laisse aussi son frère Jean-Paul Ouellet (Aurore) et sa soeur Gracia Doucet (Roger). La famille tient à remercier le C.L.S.C. St-Henri et ses anges Carrell et Inès qui l'ont soutenue jusqu'à la fin. She will be missed by her husband of sixty-six years, her children Silvia (late Edouard Baudry), Gilio (Francoise Lemieux), Leo (Marcelle Deschenes), Claude (Pandora DeGreen), her grandchildren Mia (Luigi Confalone), Chloe, Hugo, Thomas, Jean-Francois, Patrick and her great-granddaughter Elsa. She also leaves her brother Jean-Paul Ouellet (Aurore) and her sister Gracia (Roger Doucet). The family would like to thank the staff of the CLSC St-Henri and her two angels Carrell and Ines who were with her until the end. Il était le fils de feu Robert Faucher et de dame Ida Bertrand, le frère de Réal Faucher (Denise Lemoyne), Marc Faucher, feu Jean-Luc Faucher, Denis Faucher (Nicole Parent), le gendre de feu Lucien Croteau et de feu Kathleen Bergeron, le beau-frère de Pauline Croteau (Damien Loignon), Gilles Croteau (Diane Trépanier), Louise Croteau (Guy Gagnon), Claire Croteau (Raynald Levesque), Michèle Croteau (Gilles Gourdes), Hélène Croteau (Mario Lambert). Il laisse également plusieurs neveux et nièces et autres parents des familles Faucher et Croteau et plusieurs amis. Les funérailles eurent lieu en l'église St-Désiré du Lac-Noir sous la direction de J.A. Savoie et fils. Des dons à la Fondation du Centre hospitalier de la région de Thetford seraient appréciés.

Elle était la mère de Roxanne Bélisle Payeur amie de Nicolas Brochu. Elle était la fille de feu Armand Bélisle (époux en 1res noces de feu Clémence Forgues et en 2es noces de dame Gisèle Prince). Elle était la belle-fille de dame Lorraine Gagné et de feu Denis Payeur, la soeur de feu Johanne et feu Alain Bélisle, de Hervé, Serge, et de Fernand Bélisle et de Christian Ali (Manon Lamothe). Elle était également la belle-soeur de Michel et Andrée Payeur et de feu Claude Payeur. Elle laisse également ses neveux et nièces ainsi que de nombreux autres parents et amis(es). La famille recevra les condoléances jeudi de 19 h à 22 h ainsi que vendredi jour des funérailles à compter de 9 h à la Résidence funéraire Gamache et Nadeau, 590, rue St-Alphonse Sud, Thetford Mines. Le service religieux sera célébré le vendredi 29 juin 2007 à 11 h en l'église St-Noël Chabanel de Thetford. Elle laisse également ses beaux-frères et belles-soeurs des familles Morissette et Walker. Le service religieux a été célébré en l'église Notre-Dame-de-la-Présentation de Thetford Mines. La famille a confié la direction des funérailles à la Maison Gamache et Nadeau de Thetford Mines, membre de la Corporation des thanatologues du Québec.
