COOPER, Ron - Peacefully at home in his 62nd year, Ron passed away with his loving wife Sharon (Lazowski) and Baby boy dog Benson by his side, on Friday May 25, 2007. Ron is predeceased by his parents William and Violet Cooper. Survived by his Aunt Marion and Uncle Lorne Hillis. Brother of Lee and her husband John Kitchen. Loving son-in-law of Sophie and Michael Lazowski. Brother-in-law of Dr. Brian Lazowski and his wife Kathryn. Sharon's sons Nathan and Kristofer Wiszniak. Loving uncle to Bronwyn and Meredith Lazowski, Deanna Massie and her fiance Tim, Krista and Jason Souliere, Nicole and David Whitehead, Kyle and Melanie Kitchen. Loving great-uncle to Nolan, Wyatt, Zachary, and Adam Burka, Brooke and Ethan Souliere, Teagan Whitehead, Cameron and Mikaela Kitchen. Ron was an Owner- Operator driver for the Canadian Tire Corporation for 25 years. Ron was recognized for 25 years of collision-free driving and outstanding professionalism and awarded the Safe Driving Award for 1,000,000 miles. Ron was also employed with the Township of King in the Roads Crew Department from 2000 - 2005. Ron was a proficient and champion Trap-Shooter within Ontario and the United States. Ron was a volunteer for the Natural Land Conservancy within the Severn-Orillia area. Cremation has taken place. Helen Sutton was the wife of the late Harry Raymond Sutton and was formerly of Lower Greenwich. Born in Saint John on November 24, 1917 she was the daughter of the late Mary Maude (Logan) and W. Archibald Farris. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Helen is survived by two sons: Austin B.(Heather) Sutton of Lower Greenwich, and Harry Ronald (Bonnie) Sutton of Oshawa, Ont., seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Born in Fort Fairfield, Maine on February 3, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Percy J. and Myra Belle (Hamilton) Trafton. Marguerite was a retired X-ray Technician having worked at the former Victoria Public Hospital for many years. She attended the Wesleyan Church. She is survived by her brother, Rev. Laura was the daughter of the late Fleamigan Wright and Mary Maginole Wilmberly. Mrs. McBride's first husband Woodrow Gardner passed away in 1976 and her second husband Edward McBride passed away in 1987. Mrs. McBride was predeceased by her 3 sisters and her 2 brothers. SHIELDS, Evelyn Patricia (Dickhout) - Passed away peacefully at Grandview Lodge, Dunnville, on Friday, May 25, 2007, in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband John (Jack) Shields. Dear sister of Donald Dickhout, Stanley and Phyllis Dickhout, Harvey Dickhout, Beatrice Burtch, and Ruth Dickhout. Predeceased by two brothers Irvin, Lloyd and his wife Elsie and brother-in-law Colin Burtch. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was a R.N. at Greater Niagara General Hospital for over 30 years. The family would like to thank Grandview Lodge nurses and staff for the kindness she received while in their care. Family and friends were received at the Ballard-Minor Funeral Home, 315 Broad St. E., Dunnville, where the service was held on Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Niagara Falls. INCH, Constance “Connie“ (nee Eplett) - In loving memory of Constance E. “Connie“ Inch (nee Eplett), 80 years, who passed away Tuesday May 29th, 2007 at the Pioneer Manor Sudbury. Connie grew up during the war years in New Liskeard and was introduced to the love of nature and outdoor activities by her sportsman father, Sam Eplett, owner of Eplett's Ice Cream. She had her own horse at age 12 and became a skilled horsewoman. At war's end she met the love of her life, a war-time pilot, Bill Inch, and as soon as he finished law school he married Connie and commenced practicing law with Connie's uncle, George Miller, with the Sudbury law firm Miller, Maki. She was an avid curler and once represented the North in national curling championship. During the time she was raising their 6 children, she gave many hours to the Red Cross and other charities related to Children's Aid. Her annual get away was to go moose hunting with the boys. She was a loyal Progressive Conservative party worker in many campaigns. In later years she took on the management of the Towne House Hotel owned by her husband and business partners. To add a challenge, she bought a farm which later became an established equestrian facility in Chelmsford, Ontario, currently owned and operated by her daughter Cathy and her husband, Rick. Through her life she was a popular hostess who knew the words to all the songs of the day and could whip up a meal for a dozen people at a moment's notice. Connie will be remembered by all who knew her for her vibrant personality, exuberant love of life and her incredible organizational skills. She shot from the hip and rarely missed. Beloved wife of William A. Inch, predeceased 1992. Loving mother of Carolyn (husband Gary Lum), Sam, Jim, Andy, Cathy (husband Richard Smith) and Tracey (husband Kent Perras). Cherished grandmother of Jamie, Edward, Ryan, David, Jedd and Kael. Dear daughter of Samuel and Nora (Miller) Eplett predeceased. Dear sister of Patricia McLennan predeceased. Special aunt to Lynda McLennan. FATHER SERGIO GAR 1930 - 2007 Born in Old Yugoslavia on June 12, 1930 and died in Montreal on May 28, 2007 at the age of seventy-six. Son of Anatoly and Antonina Molchanova. Ordained on May 26, 1959 by Bishop Gabriel Bukatko. Served as a priest in Rome, Italy then in Toronto, Hamilton, Sudbury. Last assignment was at the Holy Ghost Church in Point St. Charles. GODIN, Florence (nee Leahy). Peacefully passed away on Saturday May 26, 2007 at the Huntingdon County Hospital. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Gail Pearce, her grandchildren Bryan (Janice) and Scott (Kristine), her great-granchildren Liam, Megan and Kayleigh, her sister Lola Silver and nephew Wayne Silver and also many relatives and friends.
