SELIGA, Josefa (Jessie) - A resident of R.R. #3 Kent Bridge, Josefa (Jessie) Seliga passed away at the Village, Ridgetown on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at the age of 95. Born in Lednica, Slovakia on April 5, 1912, daughter of the late Martin and Maria (Bielik) Dohnansky. Beloved wife of the late Paul Seliga Sr. (1993). Dear mother of Joe Seliga and his wife Betty of Etobicoke, Camiel Seliga and his wife Margie of R.R.#2 Ridgetown, Paul Seliga and his wife Joyce of R.R.#2 Ridgetown, and Mary Lenover and her husband Dave of R.R.#3 Ridgetown. Grandmother of 11 and great- grandmother of 19. Predeceased by all of her brothers and sisters in Slovakia. Jessie and Paul came to Canada in May of 1936 and farmed for their entire lives. Jessie lived on the Seliga Homestead in the former Howard Township from 1946 until February of 2007. She valued her faith in God, her family, and her many friendships locally, across Canada, and in Slovakia. She loved to laugh, sing, and cherished the people around her. She will be sadly missed by all. Jessie was a faithful member of St. Michael's Church, Ridgetown and the C.W.L. ZURAKOWSKY, Pauline - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Pauline Zurakowsky on Saturday, May 26, 2007, at the age of 77. Beloved mother of Annie Katherine and her husband Bruce Bonaney (Toronto), and Stephen Peter and his wife Anne Marie Borth (Waterloo). Proud Bobchya of Natalka Marie and Kalina Anne (Waterloo). Survived by her sister Mary Woloszyn (Brantford) and her brothers Peter and Steve Ruzyski (Saskatchewan), and fondly remembered by extended family and friends. Pre-deceased by her husband Stefan, sister Jean and brothers John, Tom, and Mike. Born in Ituna Saskatchewan, Pauline came to Ontario as a teenager. She met, and married Stefan Zurakowsky, where they resided in Brantford, and she was an active member of the church community. COREY, Donald MacGregor - At Bluewater Health, Mitton Site, on Saturday, May 26, 2007, Don died peacefully at the age of 78. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (1992). Don retired from Esso Chemical in 1986, was the past president of the Imperial Credit Union and was a volunteer driver for the VON until his illness.
