Larivière, Robert LA FAMILLE LARIVIÈRE a le regret de vous faire part du décès de M. Robert Larivière Décédé à l'âge de 70 ans. Il était le fils de feu Ernest Larivière et de feu Clara Deschatelets. Il laisse dans le deuil sa tendre épouse Lise Larivière Primeau, mariés depuis 34 ans, ainsi que sa petite famille: Benoit (Josée Tremblay), ses petites-filles adorées: Catherina et Isabelle; Francis (Julie De Rainville et Jacob); ses deux soeurs: Hélène (Laurent) et Cécile (Jean) ainsi que trois frères: François, Paul (Sylvie), Jean-Marie (Yvonne); trois belles-soeurs: Francine Primeau (Yvon), Violette et Liette; plusieurs cousins, cousines, neveux, nièces et ami(e)s. L'ont précédés dans la mort une soeur et trois frères: Thérèse, Omer, Claude et Jacques. Il n'y aura pas de visites au salon funéraire. Un service religieux aura lieu en présence des cendres, le samedi 17 février 2007, en l'église Notre-Dame-de-la-Guadeloupe, 30 rue St-Onge, Gatineau (Hull), à 11h. La famille recevra les condoléances avant la cérémonie à compter de 10h30. Un don à la Société canadienne du cancer serait apprécié. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Gilles (Huguette Denis), Yves (Diane Surprenant), Guy (Jasmine Collette), Sylvie (Yves Bergeron), ses petits-enfants Isabel (Patrick Poulin), Patrick (Catherine Théoret), Julie (Luc Allard), Sabrina (Guillaume Landry) et Catherine, son arrière-petit-fils Antoine Poulin, son frère Lucien (feu Mariette Poulin), plusieurs beaux-frères, belles-soeurs, neveux, nièces et nombreux autres parents et amis. GOYETTE, Réal (1953-2007) -- D'Iberville, le 8 février 2007, à l'âge de 53 ans, est décédé Réal Goyette. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Linda Lasonde, ses enfants Kimmie (Mario Lalonde), Jean-Sébastien (Morgan Pei), Emilie (Benoit Bellavance), son petit-fils Zachary qu'il ne verra grandir et ses deux autres petits-enfants qu'il n'aura pas la chance de voir, ses frères Richard (Ghyslaine Latour), Roger (Josée Fontaine), Michel (Catherine Lebeau), plusieurs neveux, nièces, oncles, tantes et nombreux autres parents et amis. Une commémoration, en présence des cendres, s'est tenue le mardi 13 février aux résidences funéraires Claude et Edgar LeSieur 530, 4e Rue à Iberville. La famille remercie sincèrement toute les personnes qui leur ont témoigné des marques de sympathie à cette occasion et les prie de considérer ces remerciements comme personnels.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Pierre (Nicole St-Jean), Monique (Michel Gourde); ses quatre petits-enfants : Sylvain, Nathalie, Pascal, Isabelle; ses sept arrière-petits-enfants; sa sœur : Marie-Jeanne (Maurice Solari); son beau-frère de la famille Godin : Césaire Simard; ses deux beaux-frères et sa belle-sœur de la famille Valois, ses neveux et nièces, ainsi que de nombreux autres parents et amis. MACY: Mary (nee Janswick) 1926 - 2007 Mary (nee Janswick) passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at the age of 80. Mary will be greatly missed by her husband, John, of 60 years of marriage; daughters Carol (Brian) Flinn, Linda (Brian) Zacharuk; granddaughters Mary (Randy) James (nee Zacharuk), Marnie Zacharuk, Tina (David) Flinn; great-grandsons Dustin Cole Zacharuk, Ryan Bradley Forest Zacharuk; sister Olga Dropko and her children Romona Marshall (nee Dropko), Drew Dropko; cousin Eva Danyluk; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, and brother William. She loved being the cashier for the Napier Theatre with Bob Shapiro and her long career as a Manageress with Sears Drumheller, retired 21 years ago at the age of 59. Everyone who knew Mary was touched by her kindness, generosity, grace and sense of humour. Always young at heart, many friends of all ages were drawn to her and enjoyed sharing her greatest passions of cooking. She had a photographic memory of names, places and telephone numbers. She will be remembered by her family as the “Best Mom in the World”, we love you forever. The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to all staff at the Drumheller and Hanna Hospital Dialysis Units, and family physician Dr. Boris Nahornick. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at the Church of the Nazarene, Friday, February 16, 2007 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to Drumheller Dialysis Unit, or the Area Health Foundation Garden Project.

Née à Toronto en 1910, Emma s'est mariée en 1930 et s'est installée à Grand-Mère, Québec. Elle a participé à plusieurs activités communautaires, sociales et sportives incluant le tennis, le golf, le curling et le badminton. Elle fut organiste à l'église St. Stephen's à Grand-Mère pendant plusieurs années et fut fidèle collaboratrice aux activités à l'église locale. Un service funéraire aura lieu le samedi 17 février, à 13h en l'église Church of the Incarnation 1240 Old Abbey Lane (près de Dorval Drive Nord) Oakville, Ontario. Ce printemps à une date ultérieure un service commémoratif sera célébré en l'église St. Stephen's de Grand-Mère, Québec. Elle était la mère bien-aimée de George Peter (Marlene Svoronos), Robert (Heike Brodersen), Elizabeth (Malcom Morrison) et William (Barbara Aboud). OBITUARY DR. DAVID S. KAHN After a short illness, with his family by his side, on February 12, 2007 at eighty-nine. Loving father of Jeffery Kahn of Oakville, Ontario and Susan Kahn Morrison of Chicago, Illinois. Beloved grandfather of Rachel and Patrick Kahn and Jack and Tommy Morrison, step-grandfather to Helen Rose Mutassem and father-in-law to Catherine Daneliak (Jeff) and Ken Morrison (Susan). He will be sorely missed by everyone who ever knew him. Born in Regina, Saskatchewan on August 25, 1917. Graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and University of Toronto Medical School. He served in the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps from 1942 to 1946. After the war he trained in pathology at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston where he met and married Kathaleen O'Connor. They moved to Montreal in 1955 where he became head of the Pathology Department at St. Mary's Hospital and a professor at McGill University Medical School. After retirement he was awarded Professor Emeritus. He and Kathaleen moved to Oakville, Ontario in 1992 to be closer to Jeff and his family. His beloved Kitty passed away last year on St. Patrick's Day. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds St., Oakville (905-844-3221). BURGESS, Betty Dept. of Agriculture Peacefully on February 11, 2007 in her 92nd year. Betty was a life long resident of Centretown and for many years enjoyed the Canal for winter skating and summer cycling. Betty was a great friend to children. As a young woman, she was a volunteer at CGIT Camp Kallala near Wakefield. Throughout her life, she was a prodigious knitter and smocker, clothing several generations of family and as well as donating children's clothing to a number of charities, including the Riverside Hospital. Betty was predeceased by her beloved sister Mary and brother-in-law Charlie McGuire and by brother in-law Rev. Frank Morgan. She is survived by her friends and by her sister Helen Morgan and by nieces and nephews Diane, Susan (Alan), Brian (Susan), Kathy and Peter. No service. SPARROW, Catharine Elizabeth (Bowie) nee Kidd February 8, 1915 - February 9, 2007 Peacefully on Friday, February 9, one day after her 92nd birthday. Daughter of Rev. Charles E. and Mary Kidd (Youngson) of Gananoque. Predeceased by her husbands Dr. Murray R. Bowie and Wilber S. Sparrow, her brothers Paul and Charles Kidd and her sister Eleanor Kidd. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Douglas Bowie (Joan) and Paul Bowie (Mary Jane), and always be their special Nana in the hearts of her grandchildren Alison, David, James and Laura. Raised in the Presbyterian Manse in Gananoque, Kay had earned an M.A. in English from Queen's University by the time she was 20. Barely older than any of her students, she taught at the Ottawa Ladies College until her marriage to Murray in 1941. Bright, witty and selfless to a fault, Kay was also a woman of great courage and, to use one of her favourite words, gumption. These qualities were demonstrated most notably when, as a young mother, she suffered the shocking loss of her husband, Murray, followed by the sudden death of both her parents in close succession. She carried on with indomitable spirit and without complaint, devoting herself to rasing her two young sons. After the family had grown, Kay resumed her teaching career. She taught for many years at Algonquin College, and will be remembered with respect and affection by former students and colleagues. A long-time resident of the Glebe, she remained active well into her retirement volunteering at the Civic Hospital and taking great joy in spending time with her sons, daughters-in-law, and her grandchildren. They all have wonderful memories of times spent with Nana at home, at their Otty Lake cottage, and on holiday trips. The family extends its appreciation to the staff at Park Place Retirement Residence and Dr. David Kalin for their care and kindness. Following Kay's wishes, an interment service will be held at Beechwood Cemetery in the spring. Robert Bruce Robins June 24, 1917 - February 12, 2007 Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington, on Monday, February 12, 2007 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Robins (nee Kalbfleich) for 53 years. Dear brother of Norman Robins (Inez) and Shirley Kaulback (Clyde). Will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 sisters and 9 brothers. Bruce proudly served in the Royal Canadian Air Force in WWII, he was also a longtime mason of St. Andrew's Lodge No: 593. Worked for Hamilton Hydro for over 30 years. Cremation has taken place. A Family Graveside Service will be held at White Chapel Memrial Gardens on a later date.
