Gionet, Obeline "Obe" 1934-2007 The family announces with great sorrow her death at the Timmins and District Hospital on Monday February 5, 2007 at the age of 72. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Roger Gionet of 55 years. She is the loving mother of Roger Daniel Gionet of Mississauga, Brian Frederick Gionet, Andrew Allan Gionet both of Timmins and by Steven Peter Gionet (Angela Thompson) of Calgary. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Kelly Napean, Michael Ohlschlager, Obeline Ohlschlager, Charlene Forster, Jimmy Malo, Danny Forster, Spencer Thompson, Collin Gionet, Cheryl-Anne Boucher, Lincoln and by her 6 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sisters Emma, Caroline (Jimmy) and Ruthy. She is pre-deceased by her daughter Diane Ohlschlager and by her parents Isabell and Fred Cherry. She leaves behind her great friends Laura and Elmer Campbell and Beatrice "Bea" St.Pierre. Obe was a long-time cashier at Mike's Supermarket and has also worked many years at Country Style Donuts. The family wishes to thank Brenda Lessard and the nursing staff at Paeds Medical 2 at the Timmins and District Hospital for the excellent care they provided. Cremation has taken place. CRAMMOND, DOREEN ROSE - The death of Mrs. Doreen Crammond of 12 Derrick Court, Saint John NB wife of Jack Crammond occurred on Saturday February 3rd, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Doreen was born in Elgin NB. in 1927. She was the daughter of the late Eric and Hazel Milton of Hillside, Albert Co.; N.B. Doreen is survived by her husband, Jack; son, Rick of Sooke, B.C.; daughters, Marlene (Don) Avramenko of Calgary and Shelley (Bill) Newton of St. Albert, Alb.; five grandsons Ryan, Jacob, Mark, Scott Newton and Derek Avramenko; one sister, Anna (Everett) Steeves of Hillside, Albert Co.; one brother, Angus (Elda) of Douglas, N.B.; a sister-in-law, Edwina Crammond of Vancouver. Besides her parents, Doreen was predeceased by a brother, Herbert. Doreen graduated as an R.N. from Chipman Memorial Hospital in St. Stephen. She worked at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. She also did private duty nursing at the General Hospital in Saint John. Doreen retired to live with her husband at Canal N.B. in 1977 and returned to live in Saint John in 2003. Arrangements are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John NB. (646-2424) Interment at Hillside N.B. at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Visitations will be held on Wednesday, February 7th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. GREEN, STELLA IRENE (BEAN) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stella I. Green on Friday, February 2nd, 2007, surrounded by her loving family, at the Rocmaura Nursing Home in Saint John, N.B. Born on September 6th, 1920 in McAdam, N.B., the only child of the late Leo and Dorothy Reardon. She will be sadly missed by her family: son, Bernard Bean (Janet) of Dieppe; daughters, Margot Olsen (Emil) of Quispamsis and Suzanne Rawlings (Lawrence) of Rothesay. Stella is also survived by ten grandchildren, Debbie McClure, Lisa Cox and Sandi Bean of Maine, USA, Brenda Lynn Mansbridge (Clarence) Dieppe, Crystal Palmer (Paul), Melody Mayberry (Duncan), and Tim Olsen (Maureen) all of Quispamsis, Tiffany Bastin (Geoff) Fredericton, Jeff Drake (Ghada) Montreal, Jennifer Grass (Jeff) Tide Head, N.B.; along with 17 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Deborah Anne; her first husband, Armand Bean; and her second husband, William Green. Stella was a former R.N.A. having worked in the USA and Quebec before her marriage and she was later employed by N.B. Tel in McAdam while raising her family. She will always be remembered by her family and friends for her many acts of kindness, generosity and her gregarious nature. She loved her large extended family and enjoyed their many family gatherings. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the S.O. McADAM, LEONA MARJORIE 1926 - 2007 - Leona McAdam passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday, February 2nd, 2007. Wife of the late John Gordon Anderson McAdam. Leona loved taking long walks on the beach and was a member of the International Order of Foresters. BONNELL, HAROLD ALLEN - The family of Harold Allen Bonnell, Southampton, formerly of Woodstock, is sad to announce his death at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Sunday, February 4th, 2007 after a long period of declining health. Born at Mouth of Keswick on February 16th, 1921, he was the youngest child of Frank and Lily (Dunphy) Bonnell. He was raised in Fredericton but spent the major part of his life in Woodstock. Harold was a commercial traveler in the foods industry. In addition, he and his wife Clora were self-employed as co-owners of Estabrook Drygoods in Woodstock (1959-1970) and Buttons 'n Bows in Riverview (1971-1981). A Veteran of the Second World War, Harold joined the army after high school graduation in 1939, and he proudly served his country with the RCASC in England and Continental Europe from 1942-1945, rising to the rank of Captain. Harold was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 11, the Woodstock Masonic Lodge, and the Luxor Shrine. He served on the board of the Fisher Memorial Library. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, curler, barbershop singer; and as a bridge player, he was one of the last remaining members of "The Hole in the Wall" in Woodstock. His passion, since retirement, was genealogy research. Harold was predeceased by his wife, the former Clora Stephenson/Miller; his son, Stephen; sisters, Edna and Evelyn (McInnis); and brothers, Russell and Burton. He is survived by daughters, Susan Orr (Clifford), Southampton, Ann Kelley (Paul), Charlottetown, and Barbara Reid (David), Fredericton; grandchildren, Alison Orr (Louis Barry), Whitehorse, Yukon, Amy Reid, Fredericton, and Adam Reid, Saint John; great grandchildren, Alex and Emily Reid; sister-in-law, Margaret Bonnell, Fredericton; and several nieces and nephews. Contributed throughout her life to her church and community, working with Benedict Labre House and the Christian Family Movement and as a founder of the West Island Association for the Intellectually Handicapped. Muriel was an artist and a poet. She died curious about what was next. FOX, Wilbur "Uncle Bob" After a brief illness, Bob passed away at the Brantford General Hospital, on Saturday February 3rd, 2007, in his 85th year. Beloved son of the late Thomas and Lillian Fox. Brother of the late Leslie T. Fox. Remembered by his niece Susan Ratchford (Jim) and the late Barbara MacDonald, as well as his great-nephews Glen, Greg (Becky), Grant (Anita) Halsey, David MacDonald and Zac Greenwood. Great great-uncle of 6 nieces and 3 nephews. Bob worked for Dominion Stores for over 25 years. He will also be sadly missed by many other extended family members and friends. Born 1917 in Bloomfield, PEI he was the son of the late Fraser and Sarah (MacAusland) MacDougall. David was a pipe fitter and a member of the Pipe fitters Local # 213. He is survived by his sons, Earl (Judy) of Saint John, James (Valerie) of Edmonton, AB and Bruce (Marion) of Saint John; daughters, Isabel McLean (Ralph) of Summerside, PEI, Arlene MacDougall of Calgary, Brenda Thibodeau (Gilbert) of Edmonton, AB, Gloria Lunney (Stephen) of Rothesay and Donna Pike (James) of Saint John; daughter in law, Pam Munn of Saint John; brothers, Lloyd (Betty) of Rothesay, Ralph of Saint John and Charles (Vera) of Rothesay; sister, Eleanor Baxter (Bob) of Ontario; 13 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; and best friend and caregiver, Irene Robinson.
