KAMANN, Ron - Suddenly as a result of an accident in Owen Sound on Saturday, August 19, 2006. Ron Kamann passed away in his 52nd year. Beloved son of Joyce Griswold (Leroy) and the late Ross Plant. F. Stewart (Stu) MacKay 1930-2006 Fred Stewart (Stu) MacKay, husband of Joan MacKay, passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Sunday, August 20th 2006, following a sudden illness. Born in Plymouth, NS, May 19th, 1930, he was the son of the late Albert and Valerie (Stewart) MacKay. He was retired from the CN after 42 years of service and was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Moncton. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joan MacKay (Hicks) and two sons; Richard (Kathy) of Edmonton, AB., and Brent (Judy) of Toronto, ON., two brothers; Robert of Stellarton, NS, and Lloyd of Welland, ON, four grandchildren; Leanne, Amy, Lucy, and Travis, one great grandchild, James. In keeping with Stu's wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home prior to the funeral service to be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 25th in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home, Rev. PRICE, Judy (Townson) - Passed away peacefully at home on August 18th, 2006 at the age of 65 after a brief battle with cancer. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 42 years, Wayne Price. Remembered with great pride by her children, Rob (Sarah) Price of Calgary and Caroline (Kevin) Radbourne of Guelph. Cherished Grandma of Daniel, Eric, Kent and Gillian. Dear daughter of Jean Townson of Belleville, sister to Gloria Couves of Pembroke and sister-in-law of Sandra and Colin Male of Nashville, Tenn. Judy was a devoted elementary school teacher in Guelph for over 20 years. After retiring in 1997, she channeled her love for children, animals and education into various outlets in the community including volunteer work with the Guelph Museums, the Butterfly Naturium and the Guelph Humane Society. She will be fondly remembered and truly missed by the countless friends she shared time with walking, playing tennis and golf or simply enjoying a leisurely lunch. She embraced all that life had to offer, living every day to the fullest. In the ten years of retirement, Judy enjoyed traveling with Wayne to numerous destinations which created many wonderful memories. We admire the strength and dignity she carried with her to the end. Cremation and private interment has already taken place. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Guelph Chapter of the Arthritis Society or to the Guelph Museums. Dans cette épreuve qu’ils ont traversée, la famille tient à remercier tout le personnel des soins à domicile du CLSC de Limoilou et plus particulièrement madame Jeannine Guérard qui était très appréciée de nos parents. Un très grand merci également à tout le personnel en soins palliatifs de l’hôpital Jeffery Hale qui ont été d’une attention et d’un professionnalisme exceptionnels envers nos parents. KEMP, GREGORY - Gregory (Hugh) Kemp of 30 years was taken home suddenly by accident on August 17th 2006 near Athabaska, Alberta. Devoted husband to Jacey (Bowie) Kemp and loving father to Caleb, Chloë and Ava. He is also survived by his parents John and Paula (Walls) Kemp, brothers Carl and Christopher and sister Jackie Henri (Derrick, Jessica, Eric); grandmother Annie Kemp; one great aunt Jacqueline (Walls) Dubee (James); one uncle Dennis Kemp (Debbie), aunt Julie Kemp, several cousins and many friends across Canada. Greg had many interests and hobbies which included golf, hockey, volleyball and basketball. He was a hardworking committed construction worker who put his family first above all else. Born in Cody's, on April 22, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Etta (Roberts) Somerville and the beloved wife of the late Byron London. Emma was predeceased by her sons, Blair and John and by four sisters: Betty Dickeson, Mary Connell, Charlotte O'Leary and Margaret Connell. Emma is survived by her grandson, Bradley, her special niece, Jean Ann, as well as several nieces and nephews and brother-in-law, Gerald Connell. STOUGHTON, Scott Arnold - A native of North Bay, Scott Stoughton died Wednesday, August 23, at Campbell River, B.C. after a lengthy illness. He was 50 years of age. Scott is survived by his wife Diane, one son, Eric, and a daughter Katherine (Andrew Gardiner), and one grandson, Grayson Gardiner, all of the Campbell River-Black Creek area on Vancouver Island, B.C. Also surviving are his mother, Madelene Stoughton, and one brother, Grant Stoughton of North Bay. Born and raised in North Bay, Scott attended Chippewa Secondary School, and was active in all swimming and diving programs at the Y.M.C.A. He later trained in underwater construction and professional diving at Seneca College in Toronto, and worked on dams throughout the north. In North Bay, he was on the team of divers who searched for and found the historic wreck of the “Fraser“ on Lake Nipissing. At Scott's request, there will be no public funeral service.
