ROMEO A. BEGNOCHE BURLINGTON — Romeo A. Begnoche, 76, died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005, at his home with his loving family by his side, following a courageous battle with colon cancer. Romeo was born in Burlington on Jan. 14, 1929, the son of the late Treffle and Cologne (Daignault) Begnoche. Romeo was married in Burlington on June 3, 1950, to Marie Theresa Plankey. Romeo was a member of the New England Teamsters and Trucking Union whose career in the trucking industry spanned over 30 years starting with Marcel Motors, which was later bought by Quinn Freightlines, and ultimately Maislin Transportaion of Delaware. He ended his career at Norton Brothers Trucking Company retiring in 1992. After retirement, Romeo continued to drive part-time for Priority Express. Romeo was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church, where he served as an usher and was a lifetime member of the B.P.O.E. Lodge 916. Romeo is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Marie Bagnoche; four daughters and one son, Linda Dusablon and her husband, Leo, of Colchester, Janice Palmer and her husband, Craig, of Charlotte, Nancy Pratt and her husband, Thomas of Colchester, Agnes Schumacher of Huntington, and David Begnoche and his wife, Stephanie of Essex Junction; 13 very special grandchildren with whom he enjoyed many hours during is retirement golfing, playing cards, and sharing his electrical and plumbing skills, as well as sharing stories of his youth growing up on the family farm in Swanton. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren: Alan Laroche of Gloucester, Mass., Jason Laroche and his wife, Kimberly, of Essex Junction, Luke Laroche of Colchester, Chad Palmer of Charlotte, Jodi Palmer of Shelburne, Travis Pratt and his fiancee, Lindsay Toumbleston, of Jacksonville, Fla., Ty Pratt of Colchester, Eric Beane of Essex Junction, Ashley Schumacher of Huntington, Samantha, Jacob, Jeremy and Jared Begnoche all of Essex Junction, and one great-grandchild, Kobe Pratt of Jacksonville, Fla. Romeo is also survived by four sisters and three brothers, Yvette Ouimette of Swanton, Leo and his wife, Elaine, of St. Albans, Juliet Ouimette and her husband, Guy, of Feeding Hills, Mass., Rolande Therrien and her husband, Clayton, of Feeding Hills, Loraine Mulheron and her husband, Zing, of Swanton and Deland, Fla., Real and his wife, Solange of Burlington, Bernard and his wife, Pat, of Swanton and Orange City, Fla.; three sisters-in-law, Virginia Peck of Williston, Agnes Ross and her husband, Carl, of Hudson Falls, N.Y., and Judy White and her husband, Joe of Essex Junction, and several nieces and nephews. Romeo was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur and Ronald Begnoche. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Dec. 27, at 11 a.m. in St. Mark Catholic Church on North Avenue. Interment will follow in Resurrection Park, South Burlington. SHEILA J. DURONCELET, a native and resident of New Orleans departed this life to be with God on December 16, 2005, after a bout with cancer. Sheila is survived by her husband, Roaul Duroncelet, two daughters and a Son-in-Law, Kelly Duroncelet and Yashika and Tony Okon, her parents, Oscar and Gloria Johnson, five sisters, (Beverly, Gloria, Brenda, Cynthia and Vanessa) and a brother, (Oscar III). SPARTA - Sheryl L. St. Martin passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2005, at the Morrow Memorial Home in Sparta after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the age of 37 years, 11 months, and 26 days. She was born on December 11, 1967, in Racine, to Francis and Betty (nee: Christianson) St. Martin. She grew up in Racine and moved to Sparta in 1988. She married Robie Frisk in 1992. They were later divorced. She worked at Highlight Incorporated, Sparta Brush, and Second Season. She was a member of the Sparta Jaycees for a number of years and volunteered as Santa's Elf during Toys For Tots. She loved her three children, Josie, Jamie, and Ezra. She is survived by her two children, Josie Myhre of Sparta and Jamie Frisk of Auburn, Maine; her mother, Betty St. Martin of Racine; four brothers, Gary St. Martin of Green Bay, Gregory (Linda) St. Martin of Racine, Gordon St. Martin of Kenosha, and James (Rebecca) St. Martin of Racine; a sister, Laurel (David) Bohn of Franksville; her fianc‚, Darren Otto of Sparta; extended family, Phyllis (David) Frisk of Sparta, Michele Frisk and children and children of Sparta, Bill (Carrie) Frisk of Holmen, and Matthew Frisk of La Crosse; and other family and friends. Margaret F. "Margie" Patnaude, 86, of Bloomfield, a devoted mother and grandmother, died Saturday, (December 24, 2005). She was the beloved wife of the late Henry R. Patnaude and the daughter of the late John L. and Mary (Dioria) Yannette. She lived all her life in Bloomfield. She was on the yearbook council of her graduating class. In 1964 Margaret completed a Confraternity of Christian Doctrine Archdiocese of Hartford for Elementary School of Religion Teachers. She taught the boys communion class at Christ the King Church of Bloomfield. Margaret held various offices in the Rosary Society at Christ the King and also held various offices of the Columbiettes, Supreme Council. She leaves her daughter, Gail Frascatore; her son, John Patnaude; and two grandsons, Gregory M. Frascatore and Adam J. Patnaude. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Wintonbury Ave., Bloomfield. Burial will follow at Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. BIDDEFORD -- Eudore PeeWee Dube, 77, of Biddeford died peacefully at his home following a brief illness on Dec. 23, 2005. He was born Feb. 10, 1928, a son of Joseph and Elizabeth Chasse Dube. Mr. Dube had worked for R.L. Petit Co. for 20 years and for School Administrative District 57. He was predeceased by his first wife, Madeline Gauthier Dube in 1997, and a son, Roland Dube in 1993. Surviving are his wife Priscilla Mercier Jalbert Dube, whom he married July 2, 2004; two sons Lawrence Dube and his wife Mary Ann of Wells, and Robert Dube and his wife Collette of Mechanics Falls; a daughter Theresa Stevens and her husband Clarence of Portland; five brothers; twp sisters; three step-children; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Marten, Nadine Normandin -- Born February 19, 1917 in Long Beach, CA. Died peacefully at her home on December 16, 2005. Nadine attended UCLA and was prominent in the fashion industry as a buyer for the Broadway Dept. Stores later as Vice President of Advertising - Publicity- Promotion for Catalina Swimwear and Sportswear. After her retirement she devoted her time to charitable activities, serving as President of The Muses and on the national board of ARCS, reflecting her keen interest in furthering the scientific education of children. Janet M. Jeffers, 90, Ashwaubenon, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2005. She was born September 14, 1915, to the late Wilbur and Rose (Bader) Boulet in Green Bay. On January 30, 1936, she married Reed Jeffers at St. John the Evangelist Church, Green Bay; he preceded her in death December 9, 1969. Janet was a lifetime member of St. John the Evangelist Church where she often volunteered and worked for a short time as the school secretary. She enjoyed knitting, playing bridge, cooking and baking and was known for being more concerned for others than for herself. Survivors include one daughter, Judy Jeffers; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jim (Terry) Jeffers; John (Karen) Jeffers; and Dennis (Cheryl) Jeffers; 13 grandchildren, Polly (Scott) Kimball; Dave (Dawn) Vande Hei; Andy Vande Hei; Marty Vande Hei; Emily (Charlie) Bauer; Tim Jeffers and his friend, Julie Schmidt; Steve (Keri) Jeffers; Toni (Steve) Gustafson; Steve Jeffers; Brian Jeffers; Kristina (Pat) Barrada; Jennifer (Fabian) Gamez; and Julie (Brian) Elfers; 14 great-grandchildren; one son-in-law, David Vande Hei; one sister, Margaret Mc Cann; one brother, Dr. Bill Boulet; and one sister-in-law, Dorothy Curran. Richard Fortuna Boyer, of Murrells Inlet, S.C., died Saturday, December 17, 2005, in South Carolina. Mr. Boyer was the son of the late Emile and Rose Dauphinais Boyer. He was of the Catholic Faith. He lived most of his life in Montreal, PQ, Canada, and then moved to Milford, in 1958. He was employed by Bridgeport Machines until his retirement in 1985. Quirion, 82, of Oxford Street died on Dec. 20, 2005, at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Augusta, after a long illness.He was born in Augusta on Oct. 26, 1923, the son of Aime Quirion and Yvonne (Lavallee) Quirion.Mr. Quirion was educated in Augusta and served honorably in the Army during World War II.Prior to his retirement, he was employed by State Cable TV for more than 30 years. Prior to that, he owned and operated Art's Radio & TV for 10 years. Mr. Quirion also worked for Hudson Pulp & Paper Co. and Edwards Manufacturing Co. for several years.He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans, and a member of American Legion Post 2 of Augusta.Mr. Quirion was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Donald Quirion.Surviving is his wife, Germaine (Gagnon) Quirion of Augusta; one son, Kenneth P. Quirion and his wife, Nona, of East Vassalboro; one brother, Edmond Quirion and his wife, Ann, of Augusta; one granddaughter, Devon Redman and her husband, Ryan; one great-granddaughter, Alyssa Redman; and several nieces and nephews.There will be no public visiting hours. A private committal service will be held at a later date.
