DUFFY, MARJORIE JANE, (nee DuMoulin), 62 - of Clinton, Iowa, went home to be with the Lord on November 25, 2005 after a short illness. She is survived by her husband Dan, also of Clinton, IA; two daughters: Charlotte of Absecon and Judy of Clinton, IA; two sons: John and Joseph, both of Clinton, IA; two sisters: Carol and Joanne, both of Galloway; a brother Bud of Somers Point; and nine grandchildren. She was a 1961 graduate of Atlantic City High School and lived in this area for most of her life. She leaves behind a large, extended family, and also close friends in Virginia, Florida, Iowa, and California. She will be sadly missed by everyone who was touched by her life, but she will be especially missed by her family and forever be in their hearts. A viewing will be held Monday, 10-11 AM, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where services will be held at 11 AM. Burial will be in Atlantic City Cemetery, Pleasantville. Clara "Virginia" Fremaux Soileau, 86, died Thursday, December 1, 2005 at 1:55 a.m. in Rayne Guest Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2005 at a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church for Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery #2 Mausoleum. Marie F. (Gosselin) Cusson, 95, of Scott Swamp Rd. Farmington, died Thursday, (December 1, 2005) at Brightview of Avon. She was the widow of Albert J. Cusson. Mrs. Cusson was born June 2, 1910 in Lyster, P.Q., Canada, daughter of the late Jean-Baptiste and Eleanor (Fillion) Gosselin. She had been employed at Eyelet Manufacturing for many years. Prior employment included International Siler. She had been a longtime resident of Prospect before moving to Farmington. She had been a member of St. Anne Church, Waterbury and St. Ann Church of Bristol. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Church of Waterbury, Sister Yvonne's Workshop and the A.A.R.P. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers, Francois, Joseph Paul, Eugene, Aime, and Narcisse Gosselin, and six sisters, Rose-Alma, Anastasie, and Yvonne Gosselin, Delima and Celina Lacasse and Odile Poulin. She is survived by five sisters-in-law, Florence Riberty, Trudy Cusson, Margaret Cusson, and Eddie and Doris Cusson, all of Florida, and Marie Jeanne St. Amour of Terryville. Funeral services will be held at 9:15 a.m. from the Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to St. Anne Church, Waterbury for a funeral mass at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow in the Garden Mausoleum of Calvary Cemetery. Leo J. Grenier, 86, of Fort Lauderdale, FL passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday (December 1, 2005). He was born October 1, 1919 in Stratford Quebec. Leo was a resident of West Hartford and Manchester for many years. He has spent the last twenty five years in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Leo leaves behind his loving wife Georgina Grenier, he is predeceased by his beloved son Fern Grenier and daughter Madeliene Theriault. Leo also leaves behind his two sons, Bertrand and his wife Kitty Grenier of Newington, Gabriel and his wife Lorraine Grenier of Farmington and a daughter in-law Freida Grenier of Vernon. Leo has been loved and cared for many years by his loving granddaughter Carrie-Ann and her husband Michael Sacca of Coconut Creek, FL. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Benny and Gary Grenier of Vernon, Michael and his wife of Newington, Troy and his wife of West Hartford, Lisa Arute and her husband of Berlin and Lori-Ann Matteson and her husband of Newington. Sister Jeanne-Pauline (Sr. Alberta Lagace), 84, of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, St. Joseph Residence in Manchester, died December 1, 2005 at her residence. Born in Lewiston, ME, on December 15, 1920, she was the daughter of the late August and Rose-Anna (Tardif) Lagace. She entered the Order of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary in Hudson, NH, on January 21, 1941, made her First Profession in 1943 and Final Profession in 1948. Sister Jeanne-Pauline was an outstanding elementary school teacher who taught at St. Benedict in Cascade, St. Marie Elementary in Manchester, Our Lady of the Mountains Academy in Gorham and spent her last 24 years of teaching at the Presentation of Mary Academy in Hudson, NH. In 1988, she retired at the Presentation of Mary Community in Hudson and remained active in community services. Sister Jeanne-Pauline will be remembered as a totally dedicated teacher, an expert seamstress and master craftswoman. Sister Jeanne-Pauline received her bachelor degree in education from Rivier College in Nashua. Members of her family include five sisters, Therese Ouellette of Lewiston, ME, Cecile Mailhot of Lewiston, ME, Lucille Martin of Parkman, ME, Gloria Vallee of Lisbon, ME and Jeanne Sanchez of new Britain, CT; several nephews, nieces, and cousins. Calling hours are Sunday from 2 to 4pm and 6:30 to 8pm, with a prayer service at 7pm in the Resurrection Chapel of St. Marie Residence, 495 Mammoth Rd., Manchester. Lillian T. (Lessard) St. Onge, 79, of Manchester died December 1, 2005 at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester after a long illness. Born on October 3, 1926, she was the daughter of Stanislaus and Roseanna (Vanasse) Lessard. She was a graduate of St. George High School and was a lifelong resident of Manchester. Mrs. St. Onge had worked at McQuade’s Clothing Store in Manchester for many years. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Augustin Church and had volunteered at bingo with the Sisters of Holy Cross in Manchester. She enjoyed time spent with her family and shopping. The family includes her husband of 57 years, Roger E. St. Onge of Manchester; four children, Susan L. Duhaime of Manchester, Anita M. St. Onge of Cape Elizabeth, ME, Gloria S. FOX, ALLAN LAWRENCE - On Friday, December 2, 2005, Allan Lawrence Fox, loving husband of 57 years to the recently departed Ada (Lanyon) Fox, passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the Late Charles and Francis (Adams) Fox. (Roderigues) Roy of New Bedford. She was a lifelong resident of New Bedford. Hannah loved spending time with her family. Roderigues and Betsy Hall of Plymouth; her paternal grandparents, Donald Bellefeuille and Carol Bellefeuille of South Dartmouth; her maternal great-grandparents, Eleanor Yates of New Bedford and Manuel Roderigues of Fall River; her paternal great-grandparents, Agnes Avery of South Dartmouth and John Bellefeuille of South Dartmouth; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. HENRY GEORGE COTE SWANTON, Vermont — Henry George Cote, 95, a longtime resident of Swanton Village died Thursday morning, December 1, 2005, at the Vermont Respite House in Williston. Born in Coaticook, Quebec Canada on, November 24, 1910, he was the son of the late C.E. and Alvine (Poulin) Cote. He attended schools in Canada and Morrisville and in 1939 was married to the former, Fern R. Brow who predeceased him on, August 22, 2004, after sixty-five years of marriage. For more than twenty years Henry owned and operated Bill's Filling Station on Platt Street in Swanton Village. In earlier years he was associated as a carpenter with Bell Aircraft in Burlington also working for a time on a naval base located in Bermuda. He was a longtime parishioner of The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Henry faithfully served his country in the United States Army during World War II serving in the European African Middle Eastern Theater. He was awarded several medals including the Army of Occupation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal. He received his Honorable discharge on October 25, 1946. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Charles DaPrato, Post 778 in Swanton. He leaves his son Lawrence W. Cote and his wife Charmayne of Milton; a grandson, Derek T. Cote of Essex Junction; two brothers, Lawrence (Sammy) Cote of Hyde Park and Roger Cote of Morrisville; one sister, Germaine Plante of Morrisville as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, December 4, 2005, at 3 p.m. from the Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Avenue, Swanton. Father John J. Meagher, SSE will officiate. SIMARD, Albert J. Was born on October 4, 1928 to Raymond and Kathleen Simard. He was one of six boys, Raymond, Harney, Arthur, Eugene, Paul and Albert. He grew up in Montreal in the Westmount area, attended St. Leo's Academy and Loyola College. He was noted for his speed, establishing records in the 880 race. He won the coveted Father Records Aggregate Trophy. Joined his parents in California where he met the love of his life , Lucille Dunn of Quebec. They were married for forty years, their love for each other was unmatched. Albert was a sweet tempered man, always kind to everyone he met. He died November 27, 2005 in Upland, California. He is survived by his brothers Harney and his wife Julie of Lakeside, California and Eugene and his wife Nan of Seattle, WA, and many nieces and nephews and cousins. NASHUA— Dwayne M. Haslim-Daigle, 25, of Dunstable Road, died on Nov. 30, 2005, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital in Lebanon.He was born Oct. 8, 1980, in San Diego, Calif., the son of Daniel and Michelle (McClellan) Daigle. For all the problems Dwayne had, he took life with vigor and stride. He was the only Cystic Fibrosis patient to have ever played football. He loved remote-controlled cars and trucks; he was an avid model builder (plastic) and just recently got a motorcycle license. He is survived by his parents, Daniel and Michelle (McClellan) Daigle; his fiancée, Rebecca Jefferson; his brother, Donald Haslim of San Diego; his grandfather, Joseph Daigle of Barrington; his aunt, Dawn Marie Barry of Salisbury, Mass.; and his uncle, Donald Daigle, of Dover.
