Aline Boudreau Desrochers, age 90, of Meriden, formerly of Bridgeport, died Saturday, November 26, 2005, at the Meriden Health Center. Mrs. Desrochers was born in Sherbrook, Quebec, Canada, and was a area resident most of her life. She was a retired employee for the former D M Read Department store. She was a former member of the Y M C A industrial seniors citizens group, and a longtime member of St. Patrick's Church, Bridgeport. She was the widow of George Desrochers. Survivors include several cousins. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, at 9:30 a.m. in the Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Avenue, Bridgeport. Burial will be in Mt. She also leaves four grandchildren Thomas, Stephen, Ben and Jason.Doris was an avid Bingo Player and loved traveling and reading. She will be sorely missed.Funeral Services will be private. ROCKLEDGE, FL— Armand "Cowboy" Labrecque, 71, of Rockledge, FL, formerly from Woodstock, CT, passed away Nov. 26. He leaves his wife, Beverly; his ten children Michael Labrecque, Robert Labrecque, Lydia Labrecque, Theresa Sundar, Kenneth Labrecque, Tammy Boucher, Thomas Paille, Tina Hamel, Todd Paille, and Melissa Labrecque; twenty nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He also leaves a brother, Camille Labrecque, and two sisters, Sylvia Beaumont and Arlene Crawford. He was predeceased by his brother, Roger Labrecque. Armand was born in Northbridge, MA, the son of Nere and Delia Labrecque. He lived in Woodstock, CT, before moving to Florida. He was a welder, and enjoyed stock car racing, motorcycle racing, and playing horseshoes. He was a Navy Veteran. There are no calling hours. A service will be held in Massachusetts in the spring. Howard H. Rae 1927 - 2005 COBOURG, ON - Howard Hudson Rae, born February 8, 1927 in Moncton, NB passed away quietly at The Landmark, a retirement and nursing home in Cobourg, ON on November 27, 2005 with his daughter Karen and her husband Matthew at his side. We would like to express our gratitude to the staff of The Landmark for all their efforts in making Dad comfortable during his final months with us. Howard is the son of Edward Howard Rae of Roxburgh, NB and Ethel Gertrude Hudson of West Newberry, Mass, USA. He is predeceased by his parents; his loving wife, Vera Catherine (Mills); beloved daughter, Gail Catherine Culhane; much loved granddaughter, Kimberly Connell; and his cherished brother, Edward (Buddy) Allen Rae. He will be greatly missed by his brother, Robert of Dalhousie, NB; and sister, Mary (Trainor) of Moncton, NB; as well as by his loving children, Karen Rae Short and Matthew of Fenelon Falls, ON, Daniel and Lina of Fredericton, NB, and Donna Rae Szalinski and Zbig of Geelong, Australia; and grandchildren, Mathieu Rae, Calgary, AB, Michelle Rae, Fredericton, Daniel, Christopher and Jonathon Szalinski, Geelong, Australia; step-grandchildren, Lisa Short and Jackie Short, and Michael Cavanagh of Markham, ON; great-grandchildren, Amy, Maddie and Jamie; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Howard retired from the Payroll Office for Canadian National Railways in 1982 following 38 years of service. He was active with the Intercolonial Credit Union prior to retirement and very much enjoyed playing darts with his friends. Some will remember him from his early years as a hockey referee. In his retirement years others will recall him relaxing at his cottage in Caissie Cape, before moving to live near his daughters in Ontario. Howard dearly loved his wife, children and grandchildren, doing his best for us and will be fondly remembered as "Pop". Visitation is at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Lutz St. Moncton, on Thursday, December 1, 2005 from 7 to 9pm. CHICHESTER -- Richard P. Arsenault, 46, of Dover Road, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005, at home. The son of the late Paul Arsenault and Eva (McCormack) Piper of Grafton, he was born in Concord on Aug. 2, 1959. For most of his life he had been a resident of the Concord area. He was a skilled mechanic and had worked for Ray's Garage in Chichester for many years. He loved motorcycles and also enjoyed drawing, reading and history. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Ozzy Arsenault of Gilford; two brothers, Edward Arsenault of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Paul Arsenault of Belmont; three sisters, Marie Arsenault of Loudon, Paula Arsenault of Belmont and Anne Beaudin of Barnstead; his grandmother, Lena (Tobine) McCormack of Concord; an uncle and nieces. WARE - Enid E. (Ballou) Roy, 87, a lifetime resident of Ware and late of Orchard Valley, Wilbraham, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2005. Enid is survived by her sons Gary Roy and David and his wife Sandra Roy; her 3 granddaughters, Alethea and Alanah of Boston, and Cadene at home; and her great-grandson Desmond. She is also survived by nephews and nieces. Born in Ware to Ernest and Margaret (Kelly) Ballou on Sept. 18, 1918, she was the youngest of 8 children. Enid was the loving wife of the late Ware Police Chief Earl E. Roy, who passed away in 1975. She was also predeceased by her seven siblings, Earl, Walter, Everett, Alton, Eunice Barry, Eleanor Lussier-Brodeur, and Mabel. Besides being a loving wife and mother, Enid owned and operated Roy Real Estate, and was active in the area real estate market in the 1960s and 1970s. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St., with burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Yvonne A. Gosselin, 97, of Manchester died November 27, 2005 at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home following a period of declining health. Mrs. Gosselin was born on May 27, 1908 in Manchester the daughter of Alfred and Pamela (Lefebvre) Beland. She grew up in Manchester, attended Ste. Marie’s School and had continued to be an active parishioner of the church throughout her life. She and her husband, Robert, owned and operated the well known “Social Lunch” on the west side of Manchester for many years. After the couple sold the restaurant, Mrs. Gosselin worked as a sales associate for Grant’s Department store in Bedford. She enjoyed sewing with her friends and playing the card game “31” with her family. Mrs. Gosselin was a member of the Tiers Ordre and Ste. Anne Sodality of Ste. Marie Parish. She enjoyed the activities at Mt. Carmel and was an avid Bingo player. Her granddaughter will especially remember her wonderful singing voice. She had a flare for cooking and enjoyed baking for her family. Yvonne had been a devoted wife to her husband, Robert I. Gosselin who passed away in 1979. She was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished the time she spent while helping raise her only grandchild. Family members include; her daughter, Therese Chartrain and her husband, Paul of Merrimack; a granddaughter, Pamela Rotz and her husband, William of Manchester; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gosselin was predeceased by her six siblings, Germaine Hebert, Laurence Beland, Leo Beland, Lucien Beland, Robert Beland and Roland Beland. Mrs. Gosselin also leaves behind a close friend from Mt. LEOMINSTER -- David William Fontaine, 42, of Leominster, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Nov. 23, in Brigham & Women’s Hospital, after an illness. He was born on March 5, 1963, in Worcester, the son of William H. Fontaine and Mary Lou (Bush) Fontaine. He graduated from Leominster High School in 1981 where he played Football and Track. He attended Northeastern University and Fitchburg State College majoring in Finance. Mr. Fontaine worked for Fidelity Investments in Boston until 1996 due to illness. He was a heart transplant recipient in 1998 at Brigham & Womens Hospital. He loved computers and the Boston Red Sox. Besides his mother, Mary Lou (Bush) Fontaine of Leominster, Mr. Fontaine leaves four sisters, Lisa Couture and her husband Donald R. of Leominster, Sally Bacon and her husband Daniel E. of Fitchburg, Susan Parry and her husband Keith of Leominster, and Michelle Fontaine of Leominster; five nephews and one niece. DEXTER -- Antoinette Osgood, 75, wife of the late Bail W. Osgood, died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005, at a Dexter health care facility. She was born April 9, 1930, in Pittsfield, a daughter of J.E.A. and Eva (Swift) DeRaps. She graduated from Maine Central Institute in 1949, Farmington State Teacher's College in 1953 with a bachelor's degree in home economics, and the University of Maine Orono in 1960 with a master's degree in education. She taught at Manson Park School and Maine Central Institute in Pittsfield, Hartland Academy, Ellsworth High School, and at Dexter Regional High School until her retirement in 1984 after 30 happy, dedicated years of teaching.Over the years she was very active in many educational organizations and related groups.In 1981 Antoinette was named Maine Home Economics Association Teacher of the Year for developing a creative and innovative health and home economics curriculum. She led many workshops and supervised one or two student teachers from the University of Maine at Farmington and the University of Maine each year from 1955 until 1984. She remained active in education during her retirement in Largo, Fla., where she volunteered for many years at the elementary schools. In addition to her husband Basil, Toni was also predeceased by a brother, Clarence. She is survived by a son, Michael Buckley of Harmony; two brothers, Perley Ettinger of Pittsfield and Roy DeRaps and wife April of Palmyra; two sisters, Mary Tuttle and husband Arnold of Clinton and Doreen DeRaps of Pittsfield; two grandchildren, Lauren and Meghan; several nieces, nephews and cousins.Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter. FALL RIVER -- Florence Marie (Dussault) Arel, 79, of Fall River died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of Norman Arel. A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Roderick and Zeperzine C. (Rousseau) Dussault. She was a parishioner of St. Anne's Parish. She was a machine operator and seamstress for a garment company until she retired in 1961. Mrs. Arel was a member of UNITE, formerly known as ILGWU. She enjoyed watching television. Survivors include a son, Donald Norman Arel of Wareham; two daughters, Janet A. Costa and Joyce C. Kozaka, both of Fall River; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Albert, Armand and Leo Dussault. Her funeral service will be at 9 a.m. Thursday from Boule Funeral Home, 615 Broadway, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 in St. Anne's Church, South Main Street. Priscilla B. Farley -- May 18, 1914 -- November 12, 2005 -- PUTNAM-- Priscilla B. Farley, 91, passed away peacefully, Saturday November 12, 2005 at Westview Health Care & Rehab Center in Dayville. Born May 18, 1914 she was the beloved daughter of the late Armand E. and Anna (Robillard) Farley.Priscilla was employed by the Citizens National Bank for 34 years, retiring in 1978 as an Assistant Cashier. She was a communicant of St. Mary of The Visitation Church in Putnam. Priscilla was extremely devoted to her family and always looked forward to gatherings with them. Priscilla is survived by a sister, Sr. Annette Farley of Putnam; two nieces, Annette O'Keefe of Vernon and Ann Marie Lett of Winsted; a nephew Paul Farley of Willimantic; two grandnieces; five grandnephews; many cousins and friends. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother George Farley, and a sister Loretta Leger. CHARLTON— Rebecca M. Fleury, 98, of 88 Masonic Home Road, formerly of Auburn, died Monday in the Masonic Home after an illness. She is survived by her niece Sandra J. Dodson, of Munson, and several other nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews. She was born in Auburn, daughter of the late Roger and Alice (Borin) Fleury, and lived here all her life. She worked as an inspector at M. J. Whittal Rug Company for many years. She was a member of Saint Joseph's Church, and was active in many of its groups and clubs. She was also active at the chapel at the Masonic Home. FT. LAUDERDALE, FL, Robert J. Fontaine, 78, died Friday, November 26, 2005 at home. Born in Chicopee, he was the son of the late Eudore J. and Antoinette (Desautels) Fontaine and was a graduate of Chicopee High School. He lived and worked in New York City for twenty-five years before moving to Fort Lauderdale. While in Florida, he worked as a short order chef before retiring. He also served with the U.S. Navy for four years. Bob loved playing cards and an occasional trip to the Indian Casino in Florida. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother E. Joseph Fontaine of Wellesley Hills. He is survived by two brothers Raymond E. of Fort Lauderdale and Harwich, MA and Lester E. of East Longmeadow, MA, along with 12 nieces and nephews and many close friends in Fort Lauderdale. A memorial service is planned for the spring and Bob will be buried with his parents in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery in Aldenville, MA. Paul Joseph LeBlanc, 60, longtime resident of East Hartford passed away on Sunday, (November 27, 2005) at Manchester Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving wife of thirty-nine years Marjorie (Rice) LeBlanc and family. Paul was born on October 5, 1945 in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, the son of Albert & Marie LeBlanc. Paul served in the Air Force for four years and worked for the U.S. Postal service for thirty-five years. Besides his wife and parents, Paul is survived by his two sons: Brian LeBlanc, and his wife Diane, of North Windham and Kevin LeBlanc, and his significant other, Sue Peyton, of Pomfret Center. Paul leaves a sister: Sue Gibilisco, and her husband Rick, of Wethersfield; his grandchildren: Tyler & Devin LeBlanc and a step-granddaughter: Nicole Dean. SOMERSWORTH — Lorraine F. LaValley, 73, passed away at the home of her daughter in Somersworth on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005, after a long battle with lung cancer.Born in Portsmouth on Sept. 9, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Perley and Eleanor (Odiorne) Welch, attended Portsmouth schools and was a lifelong resident here.She was employed for many years at Colonial Cleaners and Liberty Mutual.She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 6 and the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 168. She loved to knit and warmed many hands throughout her life. She also loved to play bingo but the main reason she will always be remembered for, is her compassion, she was always taking care of somebody.Survivors include her five children, Walter Fernald Jr. of Portsmouth, Richard Fernald and wife, Bonny, of Kittery, Maine, Wayne Fernald, Ron Fernald, both of St. Petersburg, Fla.; Suzanne Desper and husband, Frank, of Somersworth; a sister, Shirley Wengrzynek of New Durham; six stepchildren, Barbara Faulkner of Kittery, Frances and Bill Burns of Alton, Carol Cassidy of Portsmouth, Albert LaValley Jr. of Portsmouth, Bruce LaValley of Portsmouth, Robert LaValley of Georgia; 19 grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Walter Fernald Sr. in 1976; a sister, Phyllis Eaton; brothers, Perley Welch and Paul Hogdon; a grandson, Joseph Fernald; and her husband of the past 17 years, Albert LaValley Sr., who died this past March.The funeral service will be held at the Farrell Funeral Home, 684 State St., Portsmouth, on Thursday at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be Wednesday evening from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Family flowers only, please. "Jay" Hebert, 75.Jay was born Monday, Nov. 10, 1930 in Youngsville, La. and went to be with the Lord Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005, at Southwest Medical Center in Lafayette.Entombment will follow at St. Anne Catholic Church Mausoleum in Youngsville. He served as a medic in the Korean War while he was stationed in France. He graduated from Youngsville High School in 1948 and he had a passion for golf.He is survived by his loving wife, Dolores Dupleix Hebert, of Youngsville; his mother, Ida Hulin Hebert Landry, of Youngsville; his daughter, Margot Hebert Hasha, of Lafayette; a granddaughter, Reneé Hasha Pennington and her husband, Christopher, of Baton Rouge; and two great-grandchildren, Avery Victoria Pennington, of Baton Rouge, and Annika Sophia Pennington, of Baton Rouge.He was preceded in death by his father, Alphe Hebert; and one brother, John Carroll Hebert.Serving as pallbearers will be John Knox, Keith Dupleix, Jimmy Dupleix, Britt Melancon, Gerald Freeman and Phillip Gould.Honorary pallbearers will be Eldridge Carriere and his Army buddies, Burnley Ardoin, Nolan Thibodeaux, James Gibson Sr., Eddie Gauthreaux, Floyd Friloux, Rookie Champagne, Alfred J. THERRIEN, BARBARA L., 78, of Cottage Street died Saturday at Miriam Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of Charles W. Therrien, Sr. Born in Quincy, MA a daughter of the late William and Elsie (Draheim) Woolf. Evelyn A. Rouget, age 95, of Mesa, AZ went to be with the Lord on November 25, 2005. She was born November 15, 1910 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of John C. and Louise (Smith) Miller. On December 6, 1930 she married Ernest W. Rouget in Bowling Green, Ohio. He preceded her in death in May 1986. Evelyn was a member of Palmyra Community Presbyterian Church, and a life member of Palmyra/Fair- field Chapter #224 Order of the Eastern Star. She will greatly be missed by her family. Surviving Evelyn is her son Don and his wife Catherine Rouget, Sun Lakes, AZ, and her two grandchildren Joseph and Erin Rouget. In addition to her husband, Ernest, she was preceded in death by a son Leland Rouget. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 3-5 PM at the Braun Everiss Wagley Funeral Home in Adrian, Michigan. CHICOPEE - Valmore C. Crochiere, 84, was born into eternal life on November 27th. Born in Chicopee, a son of the late Odilion and Rose (LeDuc) Crochiere, he has lived in St. Petersburg, FL since 1995. He was a self-employed carpenter and enjoyed woodworking. While in Chicopee he was a parishioner of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, a member of the American Legion Post # 353, the Carpenters Union and was a lifemember of the B.P.O.E. Lodge #1849. Mr. Crochiere was a World War II and Korean War, United States Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Jane Lewis Crochiere of St. Petersburg, FL., two sons, David of Holyoke and Valmore of Enfield, CT., one daughter Valerie Barlow of Port St. Lucie, FL, one stepson Thomas Lewis of N.Y., three step-daughters Margaret Eifler and Patricia Cady both of N.Y. and Teresa Travell of GA, his brother Roderick of Suffield, CT. his sister Georgette Thomas of Bradenton, FL., 6 grandchildren, 17 step-grandchildren, a great-grandson, 15 step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his first wife Rita (Mercier) Crochiere, two stepsons, Bernard and Vincent Lewis and a step-great-granddaughter Jessi Harris. Funeral services will be Thursday at 9 a.m. from the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St. Chicopee, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial 10 a.m. in Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Chicopee. AGNES “TINA“ NEVEAU WINTER HAVEN, Fla./ ENOSBURGH — Agnes “Tina“ Neveau, 83, passed away Saturday evening, Nov. 26, 2005, in the Winter Haven Hospital. She was born in Enosburgh, on June 17, 1922, the daughter of the late Roy and Helen (Wright) Maynard. She was raised in Enosburgh and was a 1940 graduate of Enosburg Falls High School. Tina then received teaching degrees from Johnson State College in 1942, and Goddard College in 1970. Her teaching career spanned 35 years, beginning in Enosburgh where she taught until 1959, and ending at Berlin Elementary School, where she retired in 1978. Tina married Everett M. Neveau in 1944. Tina and Everett made their home in Montpelier from 1959 until the time of his death in 1992. Tina then moved to Winter Haven in 1996. She was a member of the Vermont and National Retired Teachers Associations, and the Bethany Church in Montpelier. She is survived by two sons, William and his wife Terry Neveau of Grayson, Ga., and Alan and his wife Carmen Neveau of Barre; and one daughter, Susan and her husband David Carbo of Winter Haven. Tina is also survived by five grandchildren, Deborah Orsini of Albany, N.Y., Russell Neveau of Dacula, Ga., Aimee Pope of Barre, Edward Simmons of Middleburg, N.Y., and Joanne Blount of Winter Haven. Tina is also survived by four greatgrandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, and a sister, Dorothy Terhune. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 3, at 2 p.m. in the Spears Funeral Home in Enosburgh. A time of visitation will be held in the funeral home Saturday, Dec. 3, from 1 p.m. until the hour of the funeral.
