Aime Carbonneau, 90, of Windham Center, died on Tuesday (November 8, 2005) at Windham Hospital after a short illness. He was predeceased by his wife, Isala (Beauchesne) on September 25, 2005. Aime was born in Stanstead, Quebec, Canada to the late Gedeon and Marie (Siroi) Carbonneau. He came to the United States in 1922, by way of Lawrence, MA and became a naturalized citizen in 1939 married his wife in 1940 and relocated to CT in 1951. He retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft after 27 years of service. He is a lifetime member of the BPOE Lodge #1311. He is survived by his son, Allan and wife, Lynn of Stafford Springs, Marie Elaine Schatz of Columbia; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by 14 brothers and sisters; and his beloved son-in-law, Robert Schatz. Calling hours will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, November 11 at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect Street, Willimantic, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church. Joseph R. Dauphin, 79, of Newington, died on Wednesday, (November 9, 2005). He was the beloved husband for 56 years of Edna (Valliere) Dauphin. Born in Lakeport, NH, he was a Newington resident for the past 43 years and was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit. Mr. Dauphin retired from Dunham-Bush, Inc., Elmwood, after many years of employment. Along with his wife, he leaves eight children, Norman Dauphin of Middletown, Darlene Derosier of Resaca, GA, Alan Dauphin of Spofford, NH, Claude Dauphin of Carlsbad, CA, Thomas Dauphin of Harwinton, Brenda Pollock of Berlin, Gayle Dauphin of Cromwell, and Glen Dauphin of Newington; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers; four sisters; and many nieces and nephews. TEWKSBURY -- Roland A. Desharnais, 78, a longtime Tewksbury resident, active in church and community organizations, who was a World War II Navy veteran and later retired as a sergeant major after serving nearly four decades in the Massachusetts Army National Guard, died yesterday, Nov. 9, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Boston's West Roxbury after a brief illness. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Grant) Desharnais, with whom he celebrated a 55th wedding anniversary on Aug. 19.He was born in Willimantic, Conn., on Oct. 13, 1927, one of 12 children of the late Real and Anna (Taschereau) Desharnais. He was raised in Connecticut, but had lived the greater part of his life in Tewksbury.Mr. Desharnais enlisted in the Navy during World War II. Upon his military discharge, he joined the Massachusetts Army National Guard, where he served for more than 38 years. He was a member of the Tewksbury Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8164, and the Tewksbury Disabled American Veterans Post 110.Mr. Desharnais was an active parishioner of the St. William Church in Tewksbury, where he attended daily Mass and served as a Eucharistic Minister. He was a past grand knight of the Father Coppen's Council 4336, Knights of Columbus in Tewksbury, and a member of the Bishop Delaney, Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus.He was also a past master of the Wilmington Grange, Chapter 268, and past subordinate of the Massachusetts Grange. He was also and active former member of the Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks Lodge, Post 2070.Mr. Desharnais was a frequent visitor to the Tewksbury Senior Drop-In Center.Besides his wife, he is survived by six children, Ann Marie Cantwell and her husband Walter of Tyngsboro, Patricia Judd of Lowell, John A. Desharnais of Tewksbury, Roland E. Desharnais and his wife Elizabeth (Silva) of Burlington, Kevin W. Desharnais and his wife Joanne (Carney) of Londonderry, N.H., and Linda Y. Desharnais of Tewksbury; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; 10 sisters and brothers, Theresa Boissoneault, and Isabelle Serra, both residing in New Jersey, Raymond Desharnais, Real Desharnais, Dorothy Martell, all of Claremont, N.H., Lucille Harrington, residing in Vermont, Jeanette "Jay" Munnis of Hopkington, N.H., Roger Desharnais of Tewksbury, Gertrude "Trudy" Anderson and Henry Desharnais. both in California; and many nieces and nephews.He was also father of the late Thomas D. WOODSTOCK --Norman H. Fontaine, 79, of Woodstock, died Sunday afternoon Nov. 6, 2005 at Pierce Memorial Baptist Home in Brooklyn. He was born July 27, 1926 in Claremont, NH, the son of Ernest and Bernice (Howe) Fontaine. Norm served with the Army Air Force in Italy during World War II, attaining the rank of Sergeant. He married Beverly Mae Parker in Brownsville, VT on June 5, 1949. Norm's career was dedicated to supplying equipment to the plastics molding industry through his own company, PECO, of North Grosvenor Dale. After retirement, he spent many years pursuing his passion for woodworking at Brunarhans Design in Woodstock, as well as enjoying his vacations on Marco Island, FL. Besides his wife and mother, Norm is survived by his three children: Nancy Pritchard and her husband Bill of Woodstock; Gary Fontaine and his wife Lee of Woodstock; and Wendy Lary and her husband Ed of Pomfret Center. Norm is also survived by eight grandchildren: Julie Drouin and her husband Dave, Lacey Pritchard, Jessica Fontaine, Shawn Fontaine, Amy Schoettler and her husband Matt, Katie Rondeau, Bryan Lary and his wife Kelly St. Vrain, and Heather Lary; and four greatgrandchildren: Adam and Nathan Drouin; and Hannah and Brianna Lary. Private services for the family will be held this week in Woodstock. Burial will be in the family plot in Brownsville, VT. COALLIER NORA P -- Age 75, went to be with her daughter in heaven Monday, November 7, 2005 at the Zeeland Community Hospital in Zeeland, Michigan. Mrs. Coallier had been happily retired in the Ogemaw area for the past 13 years having previously lived in the Detroit area. Mrs. Coallier belonged to the West Branch Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW # 3775, she was a member of the West Branch Senior Inc. One of her favorite hobbies was playing cards with her family and friends. Surviving family members include her husband Jacques of West Branch, daughter Maureen (James) Coallier - Fair of Saginaw; son Lawrence (Melanie) Coallier of Hudsonville; daughter Jeannine Coallier has preceded her mother in death. Albina was born on March 13, 1913, in Roxton Falls, Quebec, the daughter of the late Leon and Emma (Brouillard) Miclette. She was spouse of the late Henry Gagne, married September 2, 1939.Enjoyed 43 years of life together. Abina enjoyed card playing, Crafts, and traveling. SCARBOROUGH, Maine — Paul A. Nadeau, 79, formerly of Water Street, Saco, and formerly of Biddeford, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005, at Maine Veterans Home in Scarborough after a lengthy and courageous battle.He was born in Biddeford on May 28, 1926, a son of Doria and Antoinette (Tremblay) Nadeau. He attended Biddeford schools.He was a veteran of World War II, serving as a torpedoman in the U.S. Navy, having quit high school at the tender age of 17, to enlist for active duty following the bombing of Pearl Harbor. He returned to complete his high school education, as he had promised his father at the time of his enlistment.He was employed by Grondin Supply as a plumbing and heating salesman for 20 years. He then worked for Clair Ford in Saco before retiring.He was a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph's Church in Biddeford. He was an officer of the Freemont Club in Biddeford for many years, serving as treasurer and president.He was predeceased in 1980 by his childhood bride of more than 25 years, the former Annette Nolette after more than 25 years of wedded bliss. He is survived by his son, Robert Nadeau of Rochester, N.H.; a daughter, Joyce Nadeau of Portland; a brother, Norman Nadeau of Dover, N.H.; a sister, Doris Rand of Windsor Locks, Conn.; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Visiting hours will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday at Cote Funeral Home, corner of Beach and James streets, Saco. Warren N. Tache , Virginia Beach -- Retired U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Warren N. Tache, 81, went to be with the Lord Nov. 8, 2005, in a local hospital. Born June 21, 1924, in Fall River, Mass., Warren served in the U.S. Navy for 26 years. He was awarded the Air Medal for exceptional ability and outstanding devotion to duty to service in World War II. He went on to work as a systems analyst for QED. He was an active member of Church of the Ascension in Virginia Beach and belonged to the Elks club. He was preceded in death by his son, William A. Tache. Warren is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Irene C. Tache; his children, Thomas W. Tache of Newport News, Cathleen T. Matthews, Connie M. Francisco, Patrick A. Tache and wife Cindy, all of Virginia Beach and Mary A. Steven G. Tellier, 47, of Manchester died November 9, 2005 at his residence after a long illness. Born in Manchester on February 14, 1958, he was the son of George and Constance (Brulotte) Tellier. He was a graduate of West High School in 1976 and was a lifelong resident of Manchester. He was appointed to the Board of Assessors for the City of Manchester in 1994 and became chairman of that Board in 1997. Mr. Tellier was a member of the New Hampshire Municipal Association, the Governor’s Commission on Assessing Standards and the New Hampshire International Association of Assessing Officials. He was a former Scout Master with Troop 135 of Sacred Heart Church. He enjoyed Monarch’s hockey games, boating, water sports, motorcycling and tending to his salt water aquarium. Victor was born in Ukraine and immigrated to Canada in 1948. He was employed by SAIT for thirty-five years. Victor had widespread interests. He was a member of the East Coulee Mine Museum and East Coulee School Museum. He also held memberships at the Ukrainian Culture Centre, the Good Companions Seniors''Club and the Legion Branch #264. Victor is survived by his wife of forty-eight years; his sons, Victor (Teresa), Terry (Linda) and David (Sandra); and his eight grandchildren, Vanessa, Leilynn, Adam, Randal, Sheiann, Nicole, Deighten, and Russell. He leaves to mourn siblings, George (Martha), Don (Marlene), Dolly (Albert), Kathy (Don), and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Victor was predeceased by his brother, twin sisters, father and mother. He enjoyed being one of the Voima Finnish Folk Dancers. He was a good teacher and very good friend whose wit and wisdom were appreciated by all who knew him. DICKIE, Edith The family announces with sadness the death of Edith Adelaide Evans (Croft) Dickie in the East Kootenay Regional Hospital Nov. 8, 2005. She was born August 13, 1916 in Necum Teuch Nova Scotia to Eva and Gilbert Croft. She was also predeceased by siblings Ivan, Orville, Doris Whitman and Jean MacDonald. GUILDERLAND, NY -- Stella Sheehy, of Guilderland, passed away into heaven surrounded by her loving family at Albany Memorial Hospital on Tuesday evening, November 8, 2005. She was born in Mooers, N.Y. and was the daughter of the late Albert and Emma Nephew on October 23, 1926 and then moved to Albany as a young lady. Stella raised her four daughters while working at various restaurants as a waitress, sometimes as many as four jobs at one time. She was employed by the Golden Fox Restaurant for 25 years, where she made many lifelong friends. Stella was an avid golfer and enjoyed tennis and gardening. She spent many winters in Fla. and her hobbies included playing cards, sewing, games, crocheting and traveling. She was a parishioner of St. Madeline Sophie Church. She will be sadly missed by her loving family. Stella is the beloved mother of Nancy (Dick) Finley, Diane Yetto, Eileen (Mike) Aviza and Brenda (Michael) Burnett. She is the cherished grandmother of Rich (Dawn) Finley, Shoby (Tracy) Finley, Shelly (Adam) Peck, Skylar, McKenzie, Chloe and Spencer Aviza, Nick Warnken, Chantel and Mikyla Burnett; great-grandmother of Robbie, Nathaniel, Dakota and the late Brooke. Kathryn G. Ebeling (Barrette), 90, Green Bay, died peacefully on Nov. 8, 2005. She was born on Nov. 13, 1914, to the late William and Louise (Del Marcelle) Barrette in Green Bay. Kathryn was previously married to Lloyd Daman on Nov. 24, 1938. He preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 1984. Kathryn lived in Chicago with her husband and worked as a manager of Webolds Department Store. She also worked in Green Bay for Cohen's and Newman's Department Store. Kathryn married George Ebeling on April 11, 1987. They had 18 wonderful years together. Kathryn was an avid golfer and bowler and loved to play cards. In later years she played cards weekly with her special group of friends. COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. - Faith Virginia Abbott died from cancer on Oct. 28, 2005, in Cottage Grove, Ore. She was born on Aug. 15, 1919, to William H. and Sarah C. (Smith) Abbott in Concord. On July 30, 1944, she married Paul Lajoie in London, England. She was raised and educated in New Hampshire. She served in the Women's Army Corps in Europe during World War II. Faith was last employed by Senior Services in Eureka, Calif. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, flowers, chocolate and telling stories about her early years and World War II to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Faith was dedicated to her family and Jesus Christ. She was admired, respected and loved by all who were privileged to know her. She is survived by her children: Virginia Hendricks of Cottage Grove, Ore., Carole Bopko of Virginia City, Nev., Linda Mote of Grass Valley, Calif., Bobbie Tiso of New Haven, Conn., Bonnie Koshell of Carmichael, Calif. and Paul Lajoie of Eureka, Calif. She leaves 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Richard Abbott of Concord; her sister Gladys LaBrie of Epsom; her sons-in-law; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her son Michael Lajoie, grandson Eric Mote and great-granddaughter Lily Walker. Services will be held on Friday, Nov. 11 at 8 a.m. in the Carmelite Monastery in Concord. Inurnment will follow at 9:30 a.m. in Blossom Hills Cemetery in Concord. A memorial service will be held in Cottage Grove, Ore. Memorial contributions may be made to the hospice of your choice.

DELTONA - G. Kim Comeau, 59, of Belkton Street, a case manager for the Volusia County jail system, died Tuesday at home. Mrs. Comeau was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area in 1989 from East Stroudburg, Pa. She was a lifetime member of the Daytona 200 Motorcycle Club and the American Motorcycle Association. She was also a certified addictions counselor for Mercy Hospital and the Columbia Health Care System of Orlando. Mrs. Comeau enjoyed riding motorcycles. Survivors include her husband of 15 years, George; two sons, William Jones, Queens, N.Y., and Dennis Comeau, Florence, Italy; three daughters, Valerie DeMaria, Eulston County, N.Y., Cheryl Ypton, Woodstock, Ga., and Linda Ostrowski, Knoxville, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Alfred E. Gagnon, 81, of Bedford, died November 8, 2005, after a long courageous battle, at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Manchester, May 17, 1924, he was the son of Emanuel and Blanche (Cote) Gagnon. In 1989 he retired from the Felton Brush Company after 46 years of service. Mr. Gagnon was a veteran of the United States Army Office of Strategic Service during World War II. He served in Europe, Africa and China with the “Fearless Fifteen.” He was highly decorated, and was the recipient of two Purple Hearts. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Sweeney Post, and a member of the former St. John the Baptist Parish. He will be remembered for his love of family, animals and the outdoors. He was predeceased by his wife Angela (DeSchuiteneer) Gagnon; two sisters Lillian Belanger and Ann Jaskolka; and a brother Wilfred Gagnon Family members include 2 daughters; Diane Saucier of Goffstown, and Donna Sheatler of Bedford; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a brother, Omer Gagnon, of Hooksett; several nieces, nephews and cousins. GENDRON, LEO E., 80, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday (Nov. 8, 2005) at Largo Medical Center. He came here in 1953 from his native Southbridge, Mass. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Following his retirement as manager of the Careless Navigator restaurant on Treasure Island, he worked in the circulation department of the St. Petersburg Times, retiring in 1988. He was a life member of VFW Post 6827 and a member of Elmer O. Smith Lodge 307, F&AM, in Pinellas Park, the Egypt Shrine Temple and the Scottish Rite. HOLYOKE - Cecilia A. (Parent) Peltier, 92, died Tuesday November 8, at the Holyoke Medical Center. She was born in St. Anne, PQ, Canada November 18, 1912, the daughter of the late Joseph and Delia (Albert) Parent. She attended school in Connecticut and was a forty-eight year Holyoke resident and retired after twenty years of service from the Buckley Nursing Home of Holyoke. In her free time she enjoyed knitting and crocheting as well as sewing and craft projects. She was predeceased by her husband August Peltier who died in 1980. She is survived by two sons, Philip Estabrook of CT, and Arthur Estabrook of NY, and one daughter, Beverly Klotz and her husband John of CT. She was predeceased by her first husband, Harold Estabrook, and two sons, Harold Estabrook and Thomas Estabrook. She was also predeceased by two brothers. Her loving nature and unselfishness touched many lives and she will be sadly missed by nineteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday November 12 at 8am from the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., in the Willimansett section of Chicopee, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9am at Mater Dolorosa Church in Holyoke. DOROTHY PERCY MOLLINEAUX 94 years old, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2005. She was a resident of West Palm Beach since 1925, moving from Savannah, Georgia. She graduated from Palm Beach High School, class of 1928. Dorothy was a member of Northwood United Methodist Church since April 11, 1928. She was also a member of the Iretta Sherman #145 Order of the Eastern Star. Her husband, Royal Mollineaux, Jr., precedes Mrs. Mollineaux in death; they were married in 1941. She is survived by her son, Royal (Maureen) Mollineaux, III; grandchildren, John, Katherine and Robert; brother, George Vance (Hilda) Percy; sister, Flora (Norman) Meldrum and many nieces and nephews. CHICOPEE – Doris T. (Roy) Desroches, 77, of the Aldenville section of Chicopee was Called Safely Home on Tuesday, November 1, 2005. She was born in Drummondville, Province of Quebec, Canada on June 6, 1928 a beloved daughter of the late Gaston and Aldegonde (Martinbeau) Roy and moved to Aldenville in 1952. She was a communicant of Saint Rose de Lima Church in Aldenville. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Phillip J. Desroches who was Called Home in 1958 and her beloved husband, Lionel R. "Tatoo" Desroches who was Called Home on October 8, 2003. They were married on October 30, 1948 at the former Precious Blood Church on Cabot Street in Holyoke and enjoyed 54 years of happiness together. She leaves her six loving children, Valerie J. Sawka and her husband John of Aldenville, Rachel J. Eaton of Aldenville, Robert R. Desroches and his wife Carol of the Fairview section of Chicopee, Joseph P. Desroches and his wife Noreen of Belchertown, Ronald D. Desroches and his wife Violet of Colorado and Lisa A. Desroches of Aldenville. Her ten cherished grandchildren, Melissa, Doug, Jessica, Shannon, Molly, Kellie, Seth, Eric, Brett and Sara. Her two cherished great grandchildren, Brendan and Lindsey.
