DELTONA - G. Kim Comeau, 59, of Belkton Street, a case manager for the Volusia County jail system, died Tuesday at home. Mrs. Comeau was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area in 1989 from East Stroudburg, Pa. She was a lifetime member of the Daytona 200 Motorcycle Club and the American Motorcycle Association. She was also a certified addictions counselor for Mercy Hospital and the Columbia Health Care System of Orlando. Mrs. Comeau enjoyed riding motorcycles. Survivors include her husband of 15 years, George; two sons, William Jones, Queens, N.Y., and Dennis Comeau, Florence, Italy; three daughters, Valerie DeMaria, Eulston County, N.Y., Cheryl Ypton, Woodstock, Ga., and Linda Ostrowski, Knoxville, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. John will be lovingly remembered by Eva, his wife of 54 years; Daughters Bev (Mike) Dyck, and Sandie (Don) Ross; Grandchildren Chantelle, Twila, Joseph, Alissa, and Tiffany. He will also be remembered by Jackie (Herb) Henke with Crystal, Kelly, Cole, and Amanda. John will also be missed by his brother Jake; Sisters Betty and Tina; many nieces nephews, extended family and friends. John worked in Winnipeg and farmed in the Balmoral area. He loved traveling. Mrs. Pearl Jeanette Issard (née Diggs) November 03, 1921 - November 07, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) ISSARD, Pearl Jeanette - Passed away on Monday, November 7, 2005, in Northwood Manor, just four days after her 84th birthday. Born in East Preston, she was a daughter of the late David and Francis (Ross) Diggs. In the early years, after her divorce from the late Frederick A. Issard, she struggled to raise their two sons, Frederick, Brampton, Ont.; Kenneth (Dorie), Lower Sackville; two daughters, Deborah (caregiver for two years before hospitalization was necessary) along with her husband Robert "Bob" Somers, who was the most dedicated son-in-law any mother-in-law could have, Beechville; and Brenda (Stanley) Letwyn, Winnipeg, Man. Mom is survived by grandchildren who highly respected her, Kimberly, Otis and Areatha; Robert Jr., Ryan and Richard; Christopher (Troy), Jamie, April "Pearl" Dee; and several great-grandchildren who never got a chance to know this soft-spoken, gracious lady. Mom was the oldest sister of David (Donna), London, Ont.; John, Halifax; Winnifred (Ken) Bell, London, Ont.; Mary Crawley, East Preston; Ada Rastig, London, Ont.; and several nieces and nephews who held high respect for their Aunt Pearl, especially nephew, Ernie Sampson, who always made sure to make hospital and Northwood visits. He was predeceased by his parents, Noel and Mary Agnes (Deveaux) Paul; and by a sister, Christine. Moody Lewis SALISBURY, NB - Moody Lewis, 88, of Salisbury passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born in Monteagle, he was the youngest son of the late Lovell and Bessie (Melvin) Lewis. Moody was a Veteran of the second world war serving as a Lance Corporal with the RCAF. For over forty years he was self employed as a watchmaker for Dakin and Lewis, retiring in 1982. He was a charter member of the Riverview Baptist Church and was a member of the Salisbury Baptist Church. Survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, the former Audrey Murray; daughter, Janet Parlee (Harold) of Miramichi; grandchildren, Mark Lewis, Halifax, Tanya Parlee, Iqaluit NU, Terri Lynne Maltby (Mike), Miramichi; daughter-in-law, Molly Lewis-Weyman, Fredericton and by several nieces and nephews. DIXON, RICHARD JAMES Richard James Dixon of Temperance Vale passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on November 9, 2005 after a two and a half year struggle with cancer. He was born on November 4, 1946 in Saint John, a son of the late George and Clara (Roberts) Dixon of Hampton. He was able to rise above the trials and burdens he endured and courageously lived his life to the fullest. Richard is survived by his wife, Gloria (Derrah) Dixon; a daughter, Tanya Dixon (Aaron) of Fredericton; a son, Jeff Dixon (Tanya) of Temperance Vale; grandchildren Katie, Bailey and Connor; two brothers, Carl and David (Irene); three sisters, Sandra Gillis (Fred), Joanne Rossiter (Clayton) and Susan Kelly (Leo), all of Hampton; several nieces and nephews. He was employed as a Mechanical Foreman at the St. Anne-Nackawic mill until his retirement in 2001. He was a member of the Maple Ridge Wesleyan Church, the Royal Canadian Legion, Lr. Southampton Branch and a proud supporter of Ducks Unlimited. Richard was an avid hunter, trapper, fisherman and snowmobiler and enjoyed spending time at his camp on the Nashwaak with family and friends. FORD, John Alexander- Beloved husband of 53 years of Annie (Nan) passed away peacefully after a brief illness on November 7, 2005 at age 83. Loving father of Susan, and Grandfather of Stephen, Catherine, and Rebecca. He is predeceased by his sister Barbara and survived by his brother Lionel, and sisters Elinor and Norma. John will be fondly remembered by his many loving friends and family. John served in the RAF in WWII and emigrated to Canada in 1947. He taught at R.H. King Collegiate (Scarborough Board of Education) and retired in 1983 to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Long standing memeber of Ulyssean Society and Albainn Society,lifetime member of the Niagara-on-the-Lake Horticultural Society and Ashbridges Bay Yacht Club Toronto. John received the Volunteer Service Award in 2000 for 30 plus years of service. JUSTINA DERKSEN It is with the utmost sadness that the family announces Justina’s passing on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005. Jessie was born at home in Neuanlauge, Sask. on Oct. 10, 1930. She married William Derksen on July 12, 1953. They moved to Emo, Ont. in 1963 and spent many happy years together, raising a family of four children. She loved her family and was happiest with them by her side. Family gatherings were most important to her. She also loved to garden, play games, and visit with friends and relatives. Jessie was predeceased by her husband, William; father and mother, Isaac and Anna Fehr; and brother, Cornelius Fehr. She is survived by her daughter, Christina (Brian) Williams of Emo, Ont.; son, William (Kathy) Derksen of Stratton, Ont.; son, Wesley (Carol) Derksen of Fort Frances, Ont.; and daughter, Carolyn (Dwight) Stang of Emo, Ont.; nine grandchildren, Sherri (Jason) King, Owen Williams, Tyler and Travis Derksen, Chelsey, Cole, and Jilayne Derksen, and Wade and Kayla Stang; and three great-grandchildren. ANTHONY (TONY) PIZEY The family of Anthony (Tony) Pizey announces his passing at the St. Boniface palliative care unit on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Tony was born in Kingston–upon-Thames, England, the oldest son of William and Jean Pizey, on Dec. 13, 1937. After graduation from school, Tony worked for the post office in England before joining the Royal Engineers and serving in Egypt and England. Following his discharge from the forces, Tony was employed in the poultry industry in various positions. In 1966, Tony and his family immigrated to Canada and lived in southern Ontario, Manitoba, and British Columbia before settling in Bergland, Ont. in 1972. For many years, Tony was employed in the tourist industry before setting up his own greenhouse business in Bergland, which he operated many years before his retirement. Tony is survived by his wife and companion of 46 years, Valerie; sons, Ian (Nancy) of Kenora, Ont., and Stuart of Winnipeg, Man.; and daughters, Yvonne (Tim) Gouliquer of Bergland Ont., and Karen (Jeff) Reid of Winnipeg, Man. He also leaves his grandchildren, Robert (Shirya), Michael and Amanda Gouliquer, Sean Pizey, and Myles and Candace Reid. Recently, throughout his illness, he took special comfort from his great-grandson, Aaron. He also is survived by his brothers, Bill and John Pizey and their families; and special cousin, Pat Varey, who was like a sister to him, in England. Tony also will be missed by his very dear friends, Stella Olson and her children, Theresa, Barbara, and Susie Olson. Missing him badly at home will be Sasha and Max. At Tony’s request, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held. The family invites all friends to share in a remembrance of Tony’s life at the home of his eldest daughter, Yvonne, at 9761 Highway 600 in Bergland, between noon and 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005. The family would like to thank the staff of Cancer Care Manitoba and the staff of the palliative care ward at St. Boniface for their tender care during his illness. Valerie would like to give a special thank you to Amy Big George for all her love and support during this difficult time. PRESTON PERRAULT It is with great sadness that the family of Preston Perrault mourns his sudden passing on Friday, Nov. 4, 2005 in Winnipeg, Man. Preston was born Jan. 20, 1975 in Fort Frances, Ont. and was raised in Nigigoonsiminikaaning (Red Gut Bay) First Nation and later in Fort Frances. He graduated from Fort Frances High School in 1994. Preston loved coming home to Fort Frances to hunt and fish with his Dad and brothers on Rainy Lake. Preston had friends from all walks of life—he was kind and caring and never judged anyone. Preston lived in Winnipeg for the last five years working in a steel factory. Preston is survived by his son, Logan, and Logan’s mother, Amber; father, Keith and stepmom, Mary; and brothers and sisters, Derek, Rick (Sherry), Nicole (Dave), Dawn (Shawn), Denise (Kevin) Audette, Amanda (Ian) Perrault, and Christine Borden. He also is survived by his many nieces and nephews, Robyn, Arizona, Shania, Austin, Summer, Naudia, Jordan, Alexis-Faith, Kaidence, Chelsea, Christian, Kirah, and Brittany; his Auntie Eleanor and Joanne; uncles, Jerry, Leslie, Sidney, and Darrell; cousin, Lenny, and many other cousins; and his biological mother, Agnes Perrault. A wake will be held Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005 beginning at 5 p.m. at the gymnasium on Nigigoonsiminikaaning (Red Gut Bay) First Nation, with Deacon Elmer Mainville officiating. A traditional funeral will take place Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005 at 10 a.m., with Elder Harry Windigo officiating. Cremation will take place in Thunder Bay, Ont. following the service. The pallbearers will be his brothers, Derek and Rick, brothers-in-laws, Ian Perrault and Kevin Audette, and friend, Shawn Morrison, all of Fort Frances, and friend, Dan Morden of Winnipeg, Man. Garnet Russell Madden, 76 A graveside memorial service was held on Oct. 28, 2005 for Garnet R. Madden, 76, of 21 Overlea Blvd., Toronto. Burial will be in the Maynard Cemetery. Mr. Madden died Wednesday, July 13, 2005, at his home in Toronto. He is survived by a son Terrance and his wife of Brantford, a brother Howard (Arnold) Madden of Johnstown, three sisters Emily (Doreen) Perry of Prescott, Mary (Geraldine) Rockey of Cardinal and Eva Murray of Ogdensburg, and by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Lois on Jan. 15, 1984, his father William and his mother Edith, a son Edward (Teddy) Madden, three brothers Thomas, Donald and William (Bazil) and three sisters Lila Forney, Edith (Edna) Ryrie and Mabel Kennedy. Mr. Madden was born on July 12, 1929 and attended school in Prescott. He married Lois Campbell on Nov. 29, 1947 in Manotick. He worked at the glove factory and paper mill in Prescott until entering the service. He served his country proudly in Korea from 1950 until 1952. He was discharged from the service upon returning from Korea and settled in Toronto for the remainder of his life, employed by DRG until retirement. He enjoyed fishing, his family and recreational outings.

Arthur William Sanger, 92 Arthur William Sanger, of Prescott, died on Oct. 27, 2005 at Brockville General Hospital at the age of 92. He was born on Dec. 29, 1912 at Cheam, Surrey, England to his parents Arthur William Sanger and Rose Anne Sanger (nee Skinner). He married Helen May Deane on Dec. 22, 1938 in Prescott. Mr. Sanger worked as a custodian at the Kemptville Agricultural Centre. His interests included gardening, the church (St. John's Anglican, Prescott), music and his family. He is survived by his wife Helen, his children Gerald (Gloria) of Prescott, Elsie Beaudoin (Lou) of Crystal Rock, Arthur (Carol) of Prescott, Leslie (Judy) of Algonquin, Faith Bellisle (George) of Charleston Lake, David (Sheila) of Morrisburg and William (Elaine) of Prescott, his many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, his nephews Vincent Sanger (Elaine) of England and Christopher Sanger (Helen) of England and his sisters-in-law Monica Sanger of England and Olive DeVries of Prescott. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Francis, sister Elsie, granddaughter Tracy and great grandson Dawson. Visitation took place on Oct. 30 at the Chris Slater Funeral Home. The funeral service was held on Oct. 31 in the chapel. Reverend Gerry Ring officiated. Mr. Sanger's grandson, Pastor Dale Sanger, gave the eulogy. Pallbearers were grandsons Shawn and Mark Beaudoin, Andrew Sanger, Dale Sanger, Jeffrey Sanger, Jason Sanger and Leslie Sanger Jr. The committal service took place on Oct. 31 at Sandy Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Cherished grandma of Angie, David, Josh, Duncan, Rebecca and Scott Kirk; Matt and Andrew Pacey. Daughter of the late James and Gertrude Duncan. Remembered by her brother Ross (Lillian) of Richmond, sister-in-law Lily (Robert predeceased) of Morrisburg and Edward (Gert) Kirk, Kae (Harold predeceased). Predeceased by Jean (Ross) Hopkins, Beth Farley, Phyllis and Ernest Kirk (Sheila). Special thanks to the Police, Ambulance service, doctors, nurses, support staff of Queensway Carleton Hospital. Friends will be received at the Lee Cummings Funeral Home in North Gower on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 2:30 pm in Carsonby United Church, 5940 Prince of Wales Dr (old Hwy 16).
