HAGUE, WINIFRED A. (MESSIER), 77, of Mettatuxet Road, died Friday at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of James Hague, Jr. for 54 years. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Winifred (Waldron) Messier. Mrs. Hague worked as a lab technician at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital and had worked for Dr. Healy before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Thomas More Church.Besides her husband, she leaves her loving children, Christine M. Hague and James P. Hague both of Narragansett, Peter J. Hague of Los Osos, CA and John W. Hague of Richmond; and her five grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Wilfred Messier.Her Funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland Street, Narragansett. TOOMEY, Arthur Michael September 14, 1922 - October 22, 2005 After a lengthy illness at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital, Saturday, October 22, 2005, Art is now with St. Therese and friends in paradise. Husband of Helen Burgess (nee Mangione) and the late Jean (nee Graziano). Loving father of Alan (Clara), Thomas (Kari) and Kenneth (Kimberly). Deeply missed by grandchildren Keith (Ainsley), Heather (Chad Beveridge), Steven, Gregory, Jean, Patricia, Michael, Tracey and a great-grandchild, Emily. Son of the late Elizabeth Sirois and Patrick George Toomey. Survived by brothers George (Yvonne), Patrick, Regis (Shirley) and sisters Anne, Ellen and Teresa. Predeceased by brothers Thomas and Robert and a sister Mary. Cherished by brothers-in-law Nicholas (Joan), Tony, John (Illa), Joe (Patricia) and sisters-in-law Rose, Sally (Bernard), Lucy (Norman), Bunny, Annie, Sister Mary Margaret, Teresa (John) and Carmel. Schwab, Gertrude Babin "Gertie" "And God shall wipe away all their tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away." Revelation 21:4. She was a native of Plaquemin and a resident of Baton Rouge. God called her home at the age of 99 on Friday, Oct. 21, 2005, at 10:40 a.m. She was a former employee of Ortlieb Press and Franklin Press. Visitation will be held at Ingleside Methodist Church on Monday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. until religious service at noon, conducted by the Rev. Kibby Hatfield, followed by a Christian burial at Greenoaks Memorial Park Mausoleum. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clement Schwab. As a beloved mother, Gertrude is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Gretchen Black, Gladys Juliana Baird, Marguerite Varnado and Lt. Col. (Ret.) Charles Barry Varnado, all of East Baton Rouge; four grandchildren, Lori Kay Black, Paula Black Picou, Michele Denise Varnado Wood Jenkins and Charles "Chuck" Barry Varnado Jr.; and was blessed with eight great-grandchildren, Jerimiah and Kaleigh Michele Wood, Scott Bell, Gregory, Katilyn, Tyler and Conner Picou and Mary Black; and numerous other relatives and friends. BERUBE, HECTOR, 86, of Hampton St., Providence, died peacefully Saturday, October 22, 2005 in Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Sylvia (Capaldi) Berube. Born January 2, 1919, in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Armand and Anna (Provost) Berube. Mr. Berube was a former co-owner of the Coventry Carbide Tool Company before retiring.Mr. Berube was an Army veteran of WWII. He served with the 244th Combat Engineers in the European Theatre of Operations, receiving a commendation. Mr. Berube was a member of the Lymansville Veteran's of Foreign Wars Post #10111, N. Providence. He also was a member of Triggs Memorial Golf Course, the Di Vinci Senior Center and the North Providence Senior Center.Mr. Berube is survived by two children, Ronald Armand Berube, of Wakefield, and Lucille Yvette Borrelli, of Greenville. He also leaves four grandchildren, Steven and Kevin Berube, and Dana and Laura Borrelli; and two great granddaughters, Leah and Kira Berube. He is also survived by a brother, Edmund J. Berube, of Tennesse, two sisters, Rose Cayer, of Taunton, MA and Edna Derois, of Blackstone, MA. LEOMINSTER— William N. Bolduc, 78 years old, died Saturday morning in his home after an illness. He is survived by his son William N. Bolduc, Jr. and his wife Kathy Bolduc of Hampton, VA, three daughters Muriel "Sissy" Shapiro and her husband Harold Shapiro of Worcester, Rita Jeffries and her husband Richard Jeffries of Leominster, and Nancy Riley and her husband David Riley of Braintree, eight grandchildren Kellie Foretich of Virginia, Richard Jeffries, Jr. of Acton, Lisa Shapiro of Brighton, William Jeffries of Derry, NH, Michael Shapiro and Stephen Shapiro both of Worcester, David Riley, Jr. and Samantha Riley both of Braintree, a great grandson and a great granddaughter. His wife of 57 years Muriel D. (Poole) Bolduc died on April 12, 2005. He was also predeceased by five brothers and three sisters. Mr. Bolduc was born in Boston on April 24, 1927, son of Alcide and Blanche (LaFlamme) Bolduc and had lived in Fitchburg, before moving here 29 years ago. He was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran, having served in Pacific Theater and participated in four major battles. Bill had been a meat cutter at Stop & Shop for 40 years retiring in 1990 and was a member of Holy Family of Nazareth Church in Leominster. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday from the Silas F. LeVasseur of Clinton, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005.She was born in the Village of Flanders in East Lyme, on March 16, 1913, the daughter of the late James Francis Daniels and Flora Ann (Dean) Daniels.She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 46 years, William J. LeVasseur; her sisters, Mildred B. Steadman of Niantic, Thelma O. Pendleton of Old Saybrook, and Lulu I. Daniels of Norwich.She is survived by her son, W. ERNEST L. FOISY WINOOSKI — Ernest L. Foisy, 92, a longtime resident of Winooski, died peacefully Friday, Oct. 21, 2005, in Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. He was born in Burlington on Aug. 11, 1913, the son of the late Gedion and Lena (Butler) Foisy. Ernest was married to Rita Prairie in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in 1938, she predeceased him Nov. 16, 1992. He worked for several years at Green Mountain Hardware in Winooski. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, St. Jean Baptiste, the Winooski Senior Citizens, Grand Isle Seniors, Retired Senior Volunteer Program and a volunteer at the Fanny Allen Hospital. Ernest loved his grandchildren and his family very much. He will be deeply missed by all of them. He is survived by his son, Thomas Foisy and his wife, Gaila, of Grand Isle; five grandchildren, Kimberly Irish and her husband Shawn of Georgia, Marc Foisy and his wife Sandra of Georgia, Anthony Foisy and his wife Krista of Midland, Mich., Kathleen LaCroix and her husband Michael of Milton, and Matthew Foisy of Montana; five great-grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan, and Cole Irish, and Liliana and Claire Foisy. He is also survived by one brother, Donald Foisy, and his companion, Leona Pigeon. He was predeceased by two sons, Roger and Richard Foisy; a sister, Hazel Hebert; and by one brother, Arthur Foisy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m. in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. Arrangements are by the LaVigne Funeral Home, 132 Main St., Winooski.

CLIFTON PARK, NY -- Maurice E. Gallant, 81, beloved husband of Grace Maglio Gallant for over 59 years, died Friday, October 21, 2005 at his residence with his loving family at his side. Born and educated in Haverhill, Mass., he was the son of the late Albin and Mary Daly Gallant. He was a graduate of Haverhill High School. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army/Air Corps and served his country during World War II, stationed in Northern France and Central Europe. Mr. Gallant was a certified life underwriter and worked for the Prudential Insurance Co. in Colonie for over 25 years and retired in 1979. Prior to Prudential, he worked for the Railway Mail with the Boston-Albany Railroad. Mr. Gallant and his wife have resided in South Daytona since 1978 and had previously lived in Latham for 17 years. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Riviera Golf Club in Ormond Beach, Fla. Survivors in addition to his wife include his loving children, Diane Miller of Clifton Park, Sandra Kinnicutt of Cohoes, Maureen Onyon of Clifton Park, Paul Gallant of Latham, Ken Gallant of Clifton Park and Patricia Followell of Latham. Mr. Gallant was predeceased by his son, Bill Gallant. He was the brother of Cecelia Walker of Methuen, Mass., John Gallant of Methuen and Albin Gallant, Maine. He is also survived by 16 cherished grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Community Hospice of Saratoga County for the wonderful care and concern shown to Maurice and his family during his illness. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late William and Anna (Williams) Harrop. She lived in West Warwick for many years before moving to Narragansett in 1991.Mrs. Tatro was a registered nurse and former owner, along with her husband, of the Hillside Nursing Home in West Warwick for 25 years and then the supervisor of Nursing at Cra-Mar Nursing Home for 12 years before retiring in 1989.She was a 1947 graduate of St. Joseph School of Nursing and a member of its alumnae association, a 55 year member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion West Warwick Post 2, a communicant of St. Mary Star of the Sea Church and the Galilee Beach Club.Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters, Kathleen Chase of Putnam, CT, Elizabeth Robertson and Mary Tatro both of Coventry; four sons, John E. WORCESTER— Raymond D. LaTour, 60, of 11 Sonoma Street, died peacefully at home, Saturday, October 22, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Barbara (Duda) LaTour. They were best friends and had a special love that will last through eternity. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten by his sons, Jean Paul and his wife Jennifer (Hall) of New Hampshire and Joseph and his wife Barbara (Wright) of Spencer. He also leaves his mother, Margaret (Purcell) LaTour of Leicester; five grandchildren, Jonathan, Joshua, Jameson, Emily and Benjamin; a brother, Robert and his wife Jean of Wisconson, and three sisters, Kay Faford of Leicester, Shirley LaTour of N. Oxford and Peggy Rondeau of Leicester. He is predeceased by his father, John and brother, Michael. He also leaves his in-laws, with whom he was very close, his mother-in-law, Marianna Duda, brothers-in-law Joseph, who took such good care of Ray during his illness, and Michael (Cheryl) Duda. His sisters-in-law, Hedy (George) Perry and Irene (Richard) Gutkowski, and their long-time friend, Susan Madera and her husband John. He will be remembered forever by his nieces, nephews, and his many family and friends. Everyone knew there was a smile and a laugh waiting for them when they were going to visit Ray. He had such a great sense of humor. Raymond’s greatest joy in life was his family, his greatest pleasure was spending time with Barbara, his children and grandchildren. Raymond celebrated his 60th birthday on Sept 9th, surrounded by family and friends in a circle of love. Raymond owned LaTour Builders with his son, Joseph, as self employed contractors for many years. He and his sons enjoyed playing their guitars and singing together. He loved working in his garden. He was a long time Yankees fan from living in New York for several years, but also loved the Red Sox and Patriots. He loved fishing and his trips to Maine. MONSON - Thomas Louis Talbot, age 60, of 34 East Hill Road, died on Saturday at his home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Ludlow, MA on April 14 1945, and was the son of the late Oliver J.B. and Fabolia (Aprin) Talbot. He was raised in the Indian Orchard section of Springfield and was educated at Saint Aloysius Catholic School and a graduate of Cathedral High, class of 1963. He worked as the chief power engineer for 26 years for Solutia, Inc., formerly Monsanto in Indian Orchard, retiring in 2003. He was a member of the National Association of Power Engineers, and the Franco American Club of Indian Orchard. He loved gardening, golfing, and skiing. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Claire E. (Tourville) Talbot; two daughters Elise G. Talbot of Atlanta, Georgia, and Gail Talbot-Olson and her husband Thomas of Monson, one brother Edward Talbot of Springfield, two sisters Lucille Langford of Springfield and Doris Belanger of Palmer, and many nieces and nephews. JAMES MORRIS GAUDET, 57, passed away October 20, 2005 at his home. Preceded in death by his mother, Laura (Snell) Gaudet, and father, Claude Richard Gaudet. Born in Lake Charles, LA on April 24, 1948. He graduated from LaGrange High School and McNeese State University. Jim was President of Protherm Services Group, LLC. He was a strong promoter of craft training and safety in the workplace. He was one of the founders of the Houston Area Contractors Safety Council and served as president for two terms, and president of Associated Builders & Contractors in 1992. Active in the Lake Charles Jaycees, he rose from Outstanding Local Chairman to Director, to Internal VP to Award Winning Local President, to Outstanding Area III National Director (1973) and received a Lifetime Membership. Jim was a member of First Christian Church and he cherished visits with his pastor, Max Hickerson. Jim is survived by his wife of 31 yrs, Gaile Gaudet, one daughter, Rhonda Goins, three sons; Gregory Vandersypen, Kevin Gaudet & Joshua Gaudet. Three grandsons; Tyler Bowman, Jonah Vandersypen & Caleb Goins. Daugter-in-law Andrea Vandersypen. Mother-in-law Mable Price, Cousin Carolyn Roberson, husband Mike and their children & grandchildren, Cousin Nora Horne. Brother-in-law John Price, Jr. wife Mary, their daughter, Monica, their son & daughter-in-law Dale & Laura; their children Slade & Brittany. Clara M. (Coiro) Blondin, 89, a 55 year resident of New Britain, widow of John Edward Blondin died Saturday (October 22, 2005) at Brittany Farms Health Center. She was born in Lawrence, MA, the daughter of the late Girolamo and Elvira (Pellecchia) Coiro. Her family moved to Hartford when she was nine years old. She graduated from Hartford High School in 1934. She trained to be a Para-Nurse and helped to assist with the Barnum and Bailey Circus fire victims in 1944. Clara worked as a private secretary for several executives at the Arrow-Hart Hegman. She retired after 45 years of service. Clara was past president of the Women's Auxiliary of the Salvation Army. In 1989 she was volunteer of the year. She was past president of the Stella D'Italia Society. She belonged to the New Britain Singing Group Club, The R.S.V.P. Club and A.A.R.P. She leaves behind two brothers, Anthony Coiro and wife Mary of Portland and Silvio Coiro and wife Wanda of West Hartford; a sister Carmela (Coiro) DeAngelis of Ormond Beach, FL; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Attilio Coiro; and two sisters, Mary Latimer and Amelia Gagne. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, October 25, 9:15 a.m. from the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm St., Rocky Hill.
