HOLYOKE - Kathleen J. (Maloney) Vachon, 76, passed away Monday October 17, after a long illness at Loomis House in Holyoke. She was the daughter of the late David Sr. and Margaret (Kelleher) Maloney and a graduate of Chicopee High School Class of 1941. She received training at Providence Hospital to become an X-Ray Technician. Kathleen lived in Willimansett and Holyoke and was an X-Ray Technician for Dr. Zalinski for many years. She leaves her son Joseph Vachon and his wife Noelle of Holyoke and one granddaughter Jamie Lee Vachon whom she cherished with all of her heart. A brother David Maloney and his wife Claire of So. Chatham, a sister Rita White of W. Springfield and several nieces and nephews. Kathleen was predeceased by another son Patrick Vachon in 1993 and her sisters Mary Maloney and Cecelia Delmonico. She will be missed by many dear friends. She is also survived by her former husband James Vachon and his wife Joan and their son Tom of Brewster, and her brother in law Ben Delmonico. Family wishes memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, Connecticut/Western MA Office, 306 Industrial Park Rd., Suite 105, Middletown, CT 06457. Funeral services will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the Messier Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will follow in St. Jerome Cemetery. CHAMPLAIN, NY -- Marie Anne P. Stone, 70, of Champlain passed away Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.She was born Aug. 29, 1935, the daughter of the late Joseph and Henrietta (Gilbert) Favro.She was a member of St. Mary's Church. Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, and spending time with her family. Her favorite song was Pretty Woman. She was regarded as a generous, thoughtful and caring individual who deeply touched the lives of many.Her parents; one son, Donald Stone; one brother, Noel Favro; and one grandson, Dustin Stone; all preceded her in death.She is survived by her husband, Daniel Stone; two sons and their wives, Dean and Wendy Stone of Hunlock Creek, Pa., and Michael and Michelle Stone of Huntingdon Valley, Pa.; two daughters, Marcy Coupal of Rouses Point and Darlene "Cricket" Hawkins and her husband Jerry of Ashley, Pa. Also surviving her are three brothers, Joseph Favro, David Favro and Gary Favro; four sisters, Carol Lewis, Susan LaDuke, Barbara Filion and Jean Walk; and 14 grandchildren.Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home in Rouses Point. MATTHEWS (SCHATZ), Lisa. Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 16, 2005 in her 43rd year. Cecile (Hebert) Beliveau – Manchester -- Age 90 of Manchester, died Sunday October 16th at Villa Crest Nursing Home in Manchester. She was born on August 3, 1915 in Manchester, the daughter of Albert and Albertine (LaFrance) Hebert. She had attended St. Marie School, and was a lifelong resident of the city. Growing up, she was her Father’s “little girl”, and very devoted to her parents. As a young women, she worked painting portraits for Roe Studios in Manchester. She also worked with her Father making frames in the family’s barn. As a teenager, she enjoyed spending summers at her Aunt and Uncle’s home in Newburyport, MA. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grand mother & Great Grandmother. She always loved creating special gifts for family and friends, and Christmas was her favorite holiday of the year. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially with all of her Grandchildren. Although she lacked a formal education, her family will always remember her as the best teacher they could have ever had. She is survived by 2 Sons, Andre Beliveau and his wife Sharon & Raymond Beliveau and his wife Claudette, all of Manchester. 2 Daughters, Marguerite P. Smith and her ex-husband Glenn & Irene Beliveau, all of Manchester. 1 Sister, Pauline Provencher of Florida. 10 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive her. She was pre-deceased by here husband of 60 years, Jean J. Robert Goulet, 75, of East Hartford, husband of Yvette (LeClair) Goulet, tragically passed away Saturday, (October 15, 2005) while assisting fellow friends at his summer home in Stafford. Bob was born August 25, 1930, in Biddeford, ME. He was the son of Oscar and Antoinette (Gagne) Goulet. With job opportunities in Connecticut Bob relocated with his wife Yvette. For the next 55 years Bob and Yvette lived and raised their four children in East Hartford. Robert was a man of generosity, passion, and love. Robert served over 50 years in the Local #478 as a crane and heavy machine operator. His family and helping others was his passion in life. In addition to helping his son-in-law at M&M Electric after retiring, Bob volunteered his time to help fellow campers at Roaring Brook campground. Roaring Brook campground was like a second home to Bob, his generosity was felt by all. Robert leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Yvette Goulet, their two children, Debbie LaBelle, Robbie Goulet and son-in-law, Michael Martin. He also leaves behind four brothers: Ralph, Roland, Rene, Ray; and six sisters: Dolores, Francis, Teresa, Madeline, Larine and Rachel. Evelyn Gendron -DOUGLASVILLE - Mrs. Evelyn M. Gendron, age 88, of Douglasville, formerly of Warner Robins, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2005. She was born July 16, 1917 in Denver, Colorado, daughter of the late John and Sarah O'Flaherty Maxwell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Joseph Gendron and grandson, Adam Johnson and Robert Margers. TAUNTON - '' Robert W. Jacques Sr., 74, who summered in North Falmouth for many years, died Saturday at his home. He was the husband of Ella (Fleming) Jacques for 55 years. Mr. Jacques was born in Pawtucket, R.I., educated in Rhode Island and attended the Rhode Island School of Design. He was a toolmaker and owner and operator of R.W. Jacques and Sons for more than 38 years, retiring in 1999. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed working with his hands, both in his flower gardens and the shop. SMITH, Mary Kathleen "Grace" Peacefully at St. Patrick's Home on Sunday, October 16, 2005 in her 95th year. Predeceased by her parents John and Minnie (O'Sullivan) from Low, Quebec and her brother John Jr. (died at 4 months). Grace will be greatly missed by her cousin/lifetime confidant and godson Robert Smith, his wife Eleanor, their son Gary, her many cousins and double first cousins, including the Doyle Family residing throughout Canada, especially her godson Brian Doyle. PLAINFIELD - Robert A. Couture, 64 of 144 Dow Rd. beloved husband of Linda (Bloom) Couture died Sunday at the W.W. Backus Hospital, Norwich.He was born August 13, 1941 in Sterling, a son of the late Arthur and Mary Jane (Fournier) Couture and had been a lifelong resident of Plainfield. Mr. Couture was a graduate of Putnam Technical School. He had been employed by the former Pervel Industries for many years and was last employed by Intermark Fabric Corp, retiring several months ago. Mr Couture was a lifelong member of the Plainfield Fire Dept, and had served as a driver with the Plainfield Ambulance Corp for 18 years. He was a former member of the Danielson Lodge of Elks.Besides his wife he leaves a son and daughterin -law, Glenn and Dionne Couture of Ansonia; a daughter and son -in -law TerriLynn and Richard Bernat of Griswold; two brothers Roger Couture of Oneco and Ronald Couture of Plainfield; one sister Annette Moffitt of Plainfield. He also leaves his brothers -in -law and sisters - inlaw, Ronald and Mary Jane Lusser, Theodore and Joan Verba, all of Plainfield and George and Joan Bloom of New Hampshire. Also several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 AM in St. John the Apostle Church Plainfield. Burial will be private.
