Né le 7 juin 1924, il était fils de feu Avila Noël et de feu Émilie Boucher. Outre sa tendre épouse, il était le père bien-aimé de quatre filles: Lucie (Pierre Bertrand) de Montréal, Léa (Jean-Charles Haché) et Marie-Marthe (Donald Lanteigne), toutes deux de Shippagan et Jacinthe (Réjean Mallet) de Bathurst; et de trois fils: Hilaire (Doris Lanteigne) de Pointe-Alexandre, Léandre (Lucie Gallien) de Saint-Simon et François (Corinne Albert) de Village Blanchard; un gendre, Achille Haché (feu Marie-Thérèse); une soeur, Germaine Noël de Haut-Lamèque; quatre belles-soeurs: Thérèse (feu Antoine Noël), Raymonde (feu Fabien Savoie), Léa (feu Gérard Haché) et Éléanore (feu Raymond Grenier); cinq beaux-frères: Jude (Christine), Bernard (Lauza), Delphis (feu Elizabeth), Théodule (feu Edith) et Abbé (feu Rita); grand-père adoré de 14 petits-enfants: Nathalie (Claude), Sophie (Yoland), Mélanie (Maurice), Robert, Martin (Marie-Andrée), Dominic, Bernard (Nathalie), Samuel (Stéphanie), Isabelle (Paul), Rémi-Pierre (Karine), Jean-Philippe, Marie-Christine, Kathleen et Jean-André. La dépouille mortelle sera exposée à compter de 14h, le mardi 18 octobre, à la Maison Bulger de Lamèque. Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Notre-Dame-des-Flots de Lamèque, le mercredi 19 octobre, à 16h30. LOURAS, Epaminondas (Peter), Peacefully, with his family by his side, at St. Catharines General Hospital, on October 14, 2005, Peter bid us goodbye. Born October 24, 1930 in Athens, Greece, Peter immigrated to Canada with his wife and son in 1951. TAUNTON - '' Robert W. Jacques Sr., 74, who summered in North Falmouth for many years, died Saturday at his home. He was the husband of Ella (Fleming) Jacques for 55 years. Mr. Jacques was born in Pawtucket, R.I., educated in Rhode Island and attended the Rhode Island School of Design. He was a toolmaker and owner and operator of R.W. Jacques and Sons for more than 38 years, retiring in 1999. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed working with his hands, both in his flower gardens and the shop. He also liked horse racing and being in the barn. Besides his wife, survivors include four children, Christine D. Jacques of Barnstable, Robert W. Jacques Jr. of Taunton, J. Scott Jacques of Attleboro and Stephen P. Jacques of Rehoboth; a sister, Olive DiCristoforo of West Warwick, R.I.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Darlington Mortuary of L. Heroux & Son, 1042 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, R.I. Sylvio A. Gagnon, 88, of Maurice St., Nashua died Friday October 14, 2005 at the Cheshire Medical Center, Keene. Mr. Gagnon was born in Nashua on December 10, 1916, a son of the late Joseph & Elmeria (Petrain) Gagnon. He was the widower of Rep. Gabrielle (Boilard) Gagnon who died November 18, 1991. Mr. Gagnon was a lifelong resident of Nashua spending his winters in Hallandale, Florida. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Gagnon had been employed by New England Telephone. Recently Mr. Gagnon retired form the Gulfstream Racetrack and the Hialeah Racetrack in Florida. He had also been employed by Rockingham Racetrack, and the Revere Dogtrack. Mr. Gagnon was a member of the Nashua Lodge of Elks, American Legion James E. Coffee Post #3, the Jockey Club at Rockingham and a Telephone Pioneer. Mr. Gagnon was a WWII Navy veteran. He was a former Ward 5 Alderman and moderator. He was a communicant of St. Louis de Gonzague Church. Mr. Gagnon was predeceased by 10 siblings. She was born in Gardner on July 30, 1936, the daughter of Frank and Marcellina Alisauskas, and was a lifelong resident here.Mrs. Arsenault had been a paraprofessional in the Gardner School System for over 30 years. She was an avid ten pin bowler. A 1954 graduate of Gardner High School, she was a communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.She leaves three sons, Robert F. Arsenault and his wife, Joanne of Ft. Worth, Texas, James H. Arsenault and his wife, Rita, of Suwanee, Ga., and Brian L. Arsenault and his wife, Patty, of Westminster; her mother, Marcellina “Rose” Alisauskas of Gardner; a brother, Daniel Alisauskas and his wife, Paulette, of Westminster; a sister, Rosalie Tanso of Leominster; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. WOODLAND - Jeannine "Jean" Ouellette died Oct. 16, 2005, at her home in Woodland. She was born April 2, 1937, the daughter of Albert and Madeline Chabre'. Jean "Nannie" enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Bryan and Katelin, in which she shared a special place in her heart for them. Jean was also fond of her many moments that were spent at the Kingdom Hall, practicing the Jehovah Religion. Jean was predeceased by her husband, Roland J. Ouellette in 2000. She is survived by her son, Garry and daughter-in-law, Melissa, and their children, Bryan and Katelin Ouellette, all of Woodland. She is survived by her brother and sisters, Clemence Gagnon, Edwina Michaud, Corrine Michaud, Rodrique and his wife, Debbie Chabre', Richard Chabre', Juliette St. Peter, Irene and her husband, Gene Rowland and Romeo and his wife, Martha Chabre'; and many nieces and nephews. Jean will be remembered for her great sense of humor and loving laughter that touched all of the lives that she came in contact with. Memorial services will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at the Kingdom Hall located on the New Sweden Road, Caribou. Our beloved mother, sister, teacher, hero and friend, PATRICIA E. BLANCHARD left us on October 16, 2005 at the age of 80 to join her husband, Edward J. She leaves her son Joseph Vachon and his wife Noelle of Holyoke and one granddaughter Jamie Lee Vachon whom she cherished with all of her heart. A brother David Maloney and his wife Claire of So. Chatham, a sister Rita White of W. Springfield and several nieces and nephews. Kathleen was predeceased by another son Patrick Vachon in 1993 and her sisters Mary Maloney and Cecelia Delmonico. She will be missed by many dear friends. She is also survived by her former husband James Vachon and his wife Joan and their son Tom of Brewster, and her brother in law Ben Delmonico. Roland J. Minette, 88, Esko, died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2005 at his home. He was born May 21, 1917 in Superior, the son of Roy and Anna (Twiton) Minette. Roland was a 1937 graduate of Duluth's Central High School, attended Gustavus Adolphus College and was a 1942 graduate of Colorado College. He was an Army veteran serving in World War II. He married Janet Hessel on Aug. 20, 1962 in Cameron, Wisc. Roland had been employed for many years by U.S. Steel as Supervisor of Stores. He was a long-time member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Cloquet. Roland was a life-long athlete and an avid walker. He was a member of the Minnesota All-Star Hockey Team at Gustavus Adolphus and also played hockey while attending Colorado College. He enjoyed fly fishing, tying his own flies and hunting. Roland had a unique bond with dogs and enjoyed training his own hunting dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Romelle Fowler, Mildred Malone, and Viola Maltby; and a brother, Donald Minette. Roland will be remembered by his family as being a fantastic father and husband. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Janet, of Esko; two daughters, Elizabeth of Esko and Patricia of Minneapolis; and a special niece and nephew, Connie Malone of Hermantown and Randolph 'Skip' Malone of Maple Grove. LEWISTON - Jeannette Godin Albert of Oak Street, died peacefully on Oct. 13.She was born in Wallagrass on March 30, 1927, the daughter of Paul and Laura Pelletier.She worked in shoe shops for most of her life.She enjoyed playing cards with her children and her friend at Oak Street Park. She also enjoyed bowling with her Senior Citizen friend at Auburn Lanes until her illness.She was a member of St. Patrick's Church.She had 14 children and seven still survive, Shirley Howe and Don of Sabattus, Joan and Robert Warner of Sabattus, Anita and Burt Boulay of Auburn, Janice Arsenault of Lewiston, Billy and Rita Godin of Auburn, Patsy Godin of Auburn, and Peggy and Gerry Dumond of Wales; and 11 grandchildren.She was predeceased by Leo Paul Godin; Janet Couturier; and Perry Godin.We love you mom and we'll miss you so much.

FAIRHAVEN -- Irene Lillian (Rouillier) Illingworth, 82, of Fairhaven and formerly of New Bedford, died Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, at the Alden Court Nursing Care & Rehabilitation Center after a long illness. She was the widow of Raymond Illingworth. Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria (Camire) Rouillier. She was a lifelong resident of New Bedford until relocating to Alden Court 1½ years ago. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church, New Bedford. She worked at Knapp-Lissak Shoe Co. until she retired. She was a former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Poirier Post Auxiliary. Mrs. Illingworth enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren. Survivors include a son, Robert J. Allain and his wife, Marie, of New Bedford; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson. She was the sister of the late Phillip Rouillier. Her funeral Mass will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Church. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, New Bedford. Arrangements are by Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd.

Philippe and Gloria St. Pierre.She was a medical secretary for Dr. Horacio Litcher for 25 years, then retired and moved to Atlantic Beach, Fla.She was a loving, caring wife and grandmother who adored her family. She enjoyed flower gardens planted by her loving husband so as to attract the butterflies and various birds she loved to watch. She liked fine wine and classical music. She had an eye for good art and wrote excellent poetry. She is loved and dearly missed.She is survived by one son, David B. Bernier (Anne); one daughter, Patricia A. BISHOP, CLOWES M. Clowes M. Bishop passed away, after a courageous battle with cancer at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB on October 17, 2005. He was 87. Born in Fredericton NB, he was the son of the late Henry & Mary (Clark) Bishop. Clowes was a retired funeral director and founder of Bishop's Funeral Home. A member of the Fredericton Horseman's Association & the USTA having owned & raced horses for over 65 years throughout the Maritimes, Maine & Ontario. A drill sergeant during WWII here in Fredericton, he went on to join the Fredericton City Police Force following the war and later became Fredericton's 1st Detective Sgt. In early 1964 he bought the Mundle property on the Woodstock Road which he renovated and opened as Bishop's Funeral Home on July 16, 1964 retiring in 1977. Surviving are son Donald (Stephanie) of Fredericton, daughter-in-law Kathy Bishop of Fredericton, sister Frances Dixon of Bedford N.S, grandchildren Jim, Andrew, Mike, Lee, Lisa & Joseph. Special friend Shirley Raymond, as well as five great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his parents, wife Margaret Irene (Giberson) Bishop, a son Gerald Bishop, one brother Allan, sisters Betty Dupuis, Edna Barlow & Joyce Clark, grandson Daniel Bishop. Born in Val d'Or, QC, he was a son of the late Charles and Irene (Vautour) Silliker. Roy was formerly a 20 year employee with INCO, Sudbury, ON. He retired to Port Elgin a few years ago. Donald owned and operated the Gulf Service Station on Main Street West for a number of years and also drove Transport Truck and in the past few years he drove Pilot Car. Born in Camborne, Eng. on Dec. 8, 1939. In 1966, John met & married Pauline in Coventry, Eng. Together they immigrated to Saint John NB. John was an associate engineer with NBTel. In June 1997 he had the rare privilege of being a recipient of a heart transplant in Halifax N.S. This gift allowed John to celebrate another 8 years of life with his growing family in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON.
