Grandfather and special uncle of Nik, Geoff, Tim, Alexander, Matthew, Anthony, Erik, Laura, and Justin. John is pre-deceased by his first wife Gloria-Joy Hamilton and his brother Arthur White. John also leaves to mourn, his brother Robert (Anne), his sister-in-law Glenna along with many nieces, nephews and friends. LEWISTON - Cecile M. Berube, 58, formerly of 2 Oxbow Drive, Lewiston, died Saturday morning, Oct. 8, at d'Youville Pavilion following a long illness.She was born in Lewiston on Oct. 31, 1946, the daughter of Joseph and Irene (Chamberlain) Aube. She attended schools in Lewiston and was a graduate of Lewiston High School in 1964. She later attended and graduated from St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing.She married Joseph W. Berube Jr. on March 25, 1970.She worked for many years at Maison Marcotte as a certified medical technician.She was a member of Holy Family Church.Cecile enjoyed cooking, knitting, making rosary beads for people, and loved being with her family who will miss her dearly.She is survived by her husband, Joseph, of Lewiston; her mother, Irene Aube, of Lewiston; her daughter, Angela Gagne and her husband, David, of Lewiston; her son, Jimmy and his wife, Lisa, of Lewiston; her sister, Theresa Hood and her husband, David, of North Carolina; her brother, Henry Aube and his wife, Cindy, of Auburn; her grandchildren, Anthony of Lewiston, Ricky of Kenduskeag and Heather of Brewer; two great-grandchildren, Stephen and Arriana; a brother-in-law, Bob Berube and his wife, Lauren, of Lewiston; and two nieces, Stephanie and Christine Hood of North Carolina.

Waltham – Sr. Marguerite M. Aucoin, R.C.E. of Waltham, died Friday October 7, 2005 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 81.Born in Newton, a daughter of the late Simon and Christina (Chiasson) Aucoin, she graduated from Waltham Senior High School and from Boston College. She also earned her masters degree in educational administration at Boston College. Sr. Marguerite entered the Religious of Christian Education congregation in August of 1943. She taught at Jeanne d’Arc Academy in Milton, Immaculata Catholic School in Hendersonville, North Carolina and from 1948 until 1970 at Saint Pierre’s School in Waltham. She served as principal at Saint Pierre’s from 1964 until 1970. After that she served for thirteen years as Religious Education Coordinator at Saint Joseph’s Church in Waltham where she also did volunteer work for many years after retirement.She leaves one brother, John Aucoin of Fort Worth, Florida, two sisters, Doris Dunham of Waltham, Lucille O’Sullivan of North Easton and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews. PEMBROKE -- Michael J. Chaput, 50, a lifelong resident of the Pembroke-Allenstown area, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005, at Concord Hospital. The son of Arthur R. Chaput, who died Oct. 30, 2004, and Anita (Durant) Chaput of Allenstown, Mr. Chaput was born in Manchester on Sept. 17, 1955. He was a 1973 graduate of Pembroke Academy and a member of the varsity baseball team there. Later he played goalie in the Concord Men's Hockey League. He had worked for many years as a foreman for the town of Allenstown Highway Department and had also been employed for the former Merrimack Wayside Furniture Co. in Concord. He was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman, whose greatest love was deer hunting. In 1986, he shot an eight-point, 237-pound deer for which he received the New Hampshire 200-pound Trophy Buck patch. With his father as a partner, he also shot a 700 pound bull moose. Mr. Chaput adored his family and told everyone how proud he was of his daughter, who is studying abroad at the American University of Paris. He carried pictures of her and of his nieces and nephews in his wallet from the time they were born. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Jane Gordon of Pembroke; his daughter, Katie Chaput of Paris, France; his brothers, Robert and his wife, Donna Chaput, of Nashua and Dennis "Ned" Chaput and his fiancée, Dawna, of Allenstown; his sister and her husband, Claire and Gary Watjen of Allenstown; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 4 to 7 p.m. at Petit Funeral Home, 167 Main St., Pembroke. Graveside services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Allenstown. After his retirement he owned and operated Classic Kitchens of Cranston from 1991-1996. He was a member of the D'Abormida Club of Warwick. He was a Red Sox Fan. Mrs. Rogers was born in Leominster, Nov. 30, 1910, a daughter of Arthur and Marie Louis (Lamoureax) Joyal and resided in Fitchburg for most of her life. She was the wife of the late Edmond P. Rogers who died in November, 1990. She is survived by a sister, Bernadette Lalancette of Fitchburg; two nephews, Atty. Robert LaLancette of Ashburnham and Dr. Eugene A. Moreau, Jack A. Saline, MI Age 78, died Friday, October 7, 2005 at the St. Joseph Mercy Saline Hospital after a long battle with cancer. He was born August 8, 1927 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario Canada, the son of Edward and Margaret (Patterson) Moreau. He had been a Saline resident since 1970. On November 26, 1968 in Brighton, MI he married Susan Spears and she survives. Jack had been a member of the Canadian Army and had been self-employed as a steel broker for many years. He continued his employment at Ford Motor Company for over 23 years in Quality Control until his retire ment in 1993. Survivors include his wife Susan P. Moreau of Saline, MI; one daughter, Summer Anne (Doug) Franklin of Temecula, CA. Other survivors include two grand- children, MacKenzie and Hannah Franklin . A Memorial Service Of The Christian Burial will be held at the ROBISON- BAHNMILLER FUNERAL HOME Saline, Michigan on Monday October 10, 2005 at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Fr. William J. VERNIER NANCY C, 70, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2005, in Holland MI, following a short illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Theodore L. Vernier. As a hospice volunteer for 18 years, Nancy touched many lives. She stitched hundreds of quilts and knitted sweaters for newborns which were donated to local hospitals in the Grosse Pointe area. There was no craft that Nancy couldn't do with detailed perfection. Her many talents were shared with family and friends throughout her life. Nancy will be remembered by her five children; Tony Vernier (Betty), Colleen Hoover (David), Denise Riggs (Robert), Ted Vernier (Kris) and Nancy Neutgens (Kurt); 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; her sisters, Agnes Ayotte, Patricia Scieszka, Mary Lou Rowlett, Rae Leece, and brother John Roche; and treasured friends. DRACUT -- Albert E. Gagnon, 94, a Dracut resident who worked for a local company for nearly two decades and built a water wheel in town, died Thursday, Oct. 6, at Lowell General Hospital. He was the husband of the late Alice L. (Rowe) Gagnon.He was born in Providence , R.I., Jan. 9, 1911, son of the late Joseph and Emilia (Baron) Gagnon.Before retiring, he was employed in the maintenance department at Capital Motors Lowell, for 19 years. He was also a bus driver for Gagnon Bus Co.In his free time, he enjoyed carpentry. He had built many house boats on Lake Mascuppic in Dracut and had also built the water wheel at the former Tony's Gas Station on Lakeview Avenue in Dracut.He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Carol and Bob Paquin of Dracut, and Joyce Johnson of Westford; two sons and daughters-in-law, Morris and Rita Gagnon of Dracut, and Albert and Barbara Gagnon of Pelham; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. PLANTE, JOSEPH M., 84, formerly of North Pleasant Street, died Friday at Riverview Healthcare Community, Coventry. Born in Coventry, a son of the late Arsene and Marie (Theroux) Plante. Buotte, 81, of Holyoke Avenue, Rumford, died Friday, Oct. 7, with her family by her side,at Rumford Hospital, Rumford.She was born in Rumford on May 11, 1924, a daughter of Peter and Ludvika (Antizus) Pocius. She graduated from St. Athanasius School in 1939 and from Stephens High School in Rumford in 1943.For a short time, she was employed at Oxford Paper Co. in Rumford during World War II and then for many years served as vice president of the Community Energy Co., in Rumford.She was a communicant of St. Athanasius-St. John Church and was formerly active in the Lithuanian Societies.She enjoyed knitting, bowling with the girls, dining out, was a great lover of animals and especially loved spending time with her family.She was married in Rumford on Oct. 11, 1946, to the late Norman J. Buotte; he died in Lewiston on March 11, 1981.Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Arsenault and husband, Roger, of Rumford; a son, Lee Buotte and wife, Rose, of Rumford; a sister, Phyllis Weliska, of Rumford; three grandchildren, Peter Buotte and wife, Amanda, of Rumford, Brian Arsenault and his companion, Jessica Packard, of Rumford, and Steven Arsenault of Rumford; and a great-granddaughter, Brooke Elizabeth Buotte, of Rumford.She was predeceased by a son, Bruce David Buotte; a sister, Stella Pocius; and a brother, Peter Pocius.

Bolduc June 12, 1940 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Muskegon and was married for 51 years. He preceded her in death in 1991. Mrs. Bolduc graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1935 and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 10 years as President of the Catholic Daughter's of America, 11 years as a volunteer for the Red Cross, a member of the Widows Together and past President of the Muskegon Deanery council of Catholic Women. GROTON -- June K. Chaisson, 65, a Groton resident who was a former owner of a local airport service, died yesterday morning, Oct. 8, at Emerson Hospital in Concord after a battle with cancer. She was the wife of John J. Chaisson, who died July 27, 1994.She was born in Bristol, Conn., March 18, 1940, daughter of the late Herbert F. and Ethel C. (Lord) Hanley. She graduated from Mount Saint Joseph's Academy for Girls in West Hartford, Conn.Mrs. Chaisson formerly owned and operated Affordable Airport Service of Westford. In her earlier years, she was employed with Marinel Bus Co., of North Chelmsford.She was a wonderful artist, according to family members. She is also remembered by family members for being a devoted mother and grandmother, and who enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed the companionship of her cat, Sammy.She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Kenneth Shields of N. Chelmsford, Christina and John Burke of Hudson, N.H., Cindy and Colin Kennedy, and Amy Chaisson, all of Pepperell; a son, John J. Norman R. Beauregard, 88, of Wonx Spring Rd., Plantsville section, Southington, died Thursday, (October 6, 2005) at Hartford Hospital in Hartford. He was the husband of the late Rita (Cantin) Beauregard. He was born on June 19, 1917 the son of the late Zephirin and Elise (Roy) Beauregard. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Fafnir Bearing in New Britain for 20 years, and later worked for Industrial Safety in West Hartford for 10 years. He was parishioner of St. Aloysius Church. He Served in the Army during World War II. Mr. Beauregard enjoyed woodworking and had a special love of animals. He is survived by his son, Dennis Beauregard; a daughter, Claudette Sozzi and her husband Neil all of Plantsville; two grandchildren, Scott Beauregard and Lori Beauregard; a great grandson, David Garcia; a special friend Virginia Dunn; and several nieces and nephews. ATTLEBORO - Constance "Connie" J. (Bentley) Ouellet, 58 of North Avenue in Attleboro, MA, a loving mother, grand-mother, daughter and sister, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005 in Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of over 38 years of Paul F. Ouellet. Born in Springfield on Jan. 11, 1947 she was the daughter of Jean (Rokosz, Bentley, Kupiec) and the late Charles Bentley. Connie was raised and educated in Springfield and a graduate of Commerce High School, class of 1964. She later studied at Dean Junior College in Franklin and Fisher Junior College in North Attleboro. While living in Springfield she attended the Polish National Church. She was formerly employed as a customer relations representative at Morton Hospital in Taunton for several years and earlier employed at Kendall Corp. in Mansfield. A resident of Attleboro since 1969, Connie enjoyed gardening, traveling locally and within the United States and spending time with her daughters and granddaughter. In addition to her beloved husband, Paul, and mother, Jean, Connie is survived by two daughters: Marie Ouellet of Worcester and Rene Ouellet of Attleboro; a granddaughter: Ocean Calpin of Attleboro; three brothers: Charles Bentley of Springfield, Edward Bentley of Westfield and Mitchell Kupiec of Springfield; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Her funeral was held on Thursday, Oct. 6 at the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home in Attleboro, followed by a Mass at St. Joseph's Church, also in Attleboro. Blanchard, Irene M. -- October 6, 2005 Irene M. Blanchard, of Hannibal, died Thursday at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton. Born in Fulton, she was a life resident of Hannibal. Irene was employed for 41 years by Hannibal Central Schools and recently volunteered as an attendance officer at Fairley Elementary School. Irene was a lifelong member of Hannibal United Methodist Church and was organist for 57 years. She also was an officer for United Methodist Women and was a lay member of the Annual North Central New York Conference. Irene and her husband were co-founders of the American Field Service in Hannibal. She was a member of the Hannibal Historical Society, RSVP Program, Order of the Eastern Star and one of the founders of the Hannibal Free Library. She was also a member of the Hannibal Hens Club for over 50 years. Irene was predeceased by her husband, Harold "Pete" Blanchard, in 1983; a grandson, Leslie Ritton; and a great-grandson, Mason Ritton. Surviving: a daughter, Shirley Ritton of Vancouver, WA; two sons, Carlton (Barbara) Blanchard of Syracuse and Wendell (Barbara) Blanchard of Hannibal; seven grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Yvonne "Bonnie" Calveneau, age 57, beloved daughter of Marie and sister of Joyce (Jim) Ainsworth passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2005. She was preceded in death by her father, John. LANCTOT, Doris H. - (1920-2005) Beloved sister of Robert E. Lanctot (1915-2005), died peacefully in her sleep at her home in San Francisco on October 4, 2005. She was born in Pasadena, CA, on September 19, 1920, the daughter of David and Mary Lanctot. At the age of five, Doris' family moved to San Fran. She attended Lowell High School and received a Bachelor of Arts, Economics from U.C. Berkeley in 1942. She started her career with Pan Am and PG&E before establishing a long and dedicated tenure as supervising librarian for Bechtel Corporation in S.F. (1951- 1985). In addition to being a wonderful aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt, Miss Lanctot loved dogs, especially her Boston Terriers. She was an avid traveler, gourmet cook and a fan of both mystery novels and cookbooks. She was, until her death, an active volunteer at the Asian Art Museum. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Jane J. Lanctot of San Francisco; her nieces and nephews (Lawrence R. Lanctot, Lynne M. Lanctot, Stephen T. Lanctot, Denise J. Lanctot-Balle, Teresa M. Wehn); 10 great-nieces and nephews (Andrea M. Enright, Michele A. Waller, Brendan H. Lanctot, Madelyn M. Lanetot, Caitlin A. Lanctot, Erin J. Juhl, Jonathan E. Juhl, Andrew K Wehn, Austin B. LeFEVRE, LILLIAN Our beloved, Lillian LeFevre died September 23, 2005 with her family by her bedside. She was born September 1, 1927 in Bethlehem, PA and has lived the last 15 years in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. As a loving wife, mother, and grandmother she leaves behind a legacy of love and caring to be reunited with her husband, Ted, of nearly 60 years. She is survived by her two daughters, Janel Ann Henry of Tucson, AZ and Michele Ann Schreiner of Poway, CA and her four grandchildren, Jim, Kristina, Derek and David. NORTH BAY, NY -- Russell F. Martel, 79, of State Route 49, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2005, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, N.Y. He was born January 31, 1926, in Rensselaer, N.Y., a son of Richard and Grace Young Martel. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and married Kathleen Lovejoy on March 6, 1948 in Fulton, N.Y. In 1988, they moved to the North Bay area from Latham, N.Y., where they lived for 40 years. Russell was employed at International Playtex, Watervliet, N.Y., from 1946 until his retirement in 1988. He was an owner of Marcy Beverage Center, Inc. since 1974. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen; three daughters, Linda and Thomas Zych of Troy, N.Y., Jean Battaglia of Latham, Mary Beth and Karl Steffen of Latham; two sons, Gary and Michele Martel of Glen Allen, Va., Brent and Laurie Martel of Rome, N.Y.; numerous grandchildren; three sisters, Meredith Hill of Troy, Meryl and Joseph Popp of Latham, Irma and John Behuniak of St. James City, Fla.; a brother, Ronald and Jean Martel of Utica, N.Y.; a sister-in-law, Florence Martel of Latham; a brother-in-law, Richard and Jo Lovejoy of Rumford, Maine; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Martel. At the request of Mr. Martel, there will be no funeral services.
