Ouellet, L'Abbé Maurice - Est décédé dans la paix et la sérénité, entouré des siens, à la Maison Le Havre du Lac-Saint-Jean, le 2 septembre 2005, à l’âge de 70 ans et 1 mois, l’Abbé Maurice Ouellet, fils de feu M. Joseph Ouellet et de feu dame Rosalie Poirier, demeurant à la Résidence Mgr-Paré de Chicoutimi et autrefois de La Doré. La famille accueillera les parents et ami(e)s au Salon funéraire paroissial La Doré le lundi 5 septembre 2005 de 14 h à 17 h et de 19 h à 22 h. MOORE, Stephen John, Suddenly but peacefully on Monday, September 19, 2005, in Melbourne Australia, at the age of 45. Stephen was the very dearly loved first child of John and Laura and a very close friend of his brother Christopher (Corrine and nie ce Robyn) and his sister Elizabeth Adams (Scott and nephews Robert and Jack). Stephen always maintained such a close relationship with his family that the great distance was made somewhat tolerable. After attending Laura Secord Secondary School in St . Catharines and Queen's University, Stephen spent his entire adult life in Australia working in the Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Industry, and a shorter period of time in Beijing, China. During his sudden and brief illness in a Melbourne hospital, he was wonderfully comforted by his closest group of longtime Australian friends with whom he had spent so many happy times. Stephen's family is eternally grateful to them, and to the dedicated ICU nurse Louise. Stephen, you are so very sadly missed and your premature death leaves a huge gap in our lives. BULMER, Bernice At Kingston General Hospital, Kingston, Ontario, on Friday, September 23, 2005. Bernice (Russell) Bulmer, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of Thomas Fearon Bulmer. Cherished mother of Stirling of Edmonton, Leslie (George) of California, Randy (Bonnie) of Pickering, Brian (Lynn) of Port Moody, B.C., and Laurie of Kingston. Fondly remembered by 10 grandchildren. Bernice grew up in Montreal and attended Mount Allison University in the 1930's. From there ventured to New York City at th e age of 18 to study photography. She met Thomas in Montreal and were wed in 1939. Bernice enjoyed the fine arts and maintained many hobbies throughout her life with weaving and spinning being her favourite. McGAULEY, James "Jim" Herbert In loving memory of James "Jim" Herbert McGauley, 71 years, who passed away Thursday, September 22nd, 2005 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Jim was a respected and dedicated teacher for over twenty years at Confederation High School and a trusted mentor and friend to young people throughout his life. Together with his loving wife Jean he owned and operated Woodside Beach Cottages in Providence Bay on their beloved Manitoulin Island. He will be remembered as a warm and loving man with a great sense of humour and an infectious love of life. Son of the late Val and Aileen McGauley, he is survived by his best friend and wife of 50 years Jean McGauley (nee Charron), his brothers Ross (wife Berniece) and Robert. AGAWAM - Cynthia (Bedard) McGinn, 53, of Agawam, died on Thursday, September 22, 2005 after an illness. Born on March 15, 1952 to Bernard and Phyllis (DeGere) Bedard of Adams, MA, she was a 1970 graduate of Adams High School, and a member of the Westfield State College Class of 1974. With a B.S. in Chemistry, and a minor in Education, she began work at Monsanto in 1974, where she remained employed as an assistant chemist for 23 years, and was the recipient of several achievement awards. Cindy was an avid gardener and lover of music, antiques, and the summer sun. She is survived by her "true love" of 14 years, James DiCiocco, her greatest achievement, daughter, Brenna Leigh McGinn of Springfield; her father, Bernard, and aunt Jeannette Bedard, both of Adams, MA. Cindy will never be forgotton by her many friends and family of whom she was so proud, including her stepson, James DiCiocco, and his wife , Joeleen; her stepdaughter, Christina Moriarty and her husband, Ken; and two exceptional step-grandsons, Ethan and Connor, all of West Springfield. She'll be missed by her mother-in-law, Antonietta DiCiocco of Springfield; sisters-in-law, Lina Kelley of Springfield, and Dina Ferrentino and her husband, Mario of East Longmeadow; and five nieces and nephews: Edie (Koza) Hamilton and her companion, Larry of Dallas, TX, and Judi (Koza) Belanger and her husband, Bob, and their sons, Ryan, Russell, and Mitchell, all of Adams have been Cindy's most devoted and true friends, and her second family for nearly 40 years. SACO - Rachel B. Mauzeralle, 88, of Saco, died Friday morning at Seal Rock Health Center after a long illness. Rachel crossed the Rainbow Bridge into the loving arms of God our Father.She was born in St. Jacques le Majeur, PQ, Canada on July 7, 1917, a daughter of Joseph and Melina Henri Croteau. She was educated in Biddeford schools.On Oct. 3, 1936, she married Fernand Barra in St. Joseph Church, Biddeford. He died May 5, 1976. On Oct. 26, 1991, she married Hector Mauzeralle in St. Joseph Church, Biddeford. He died in January 2001.Mrs. Mauzeralle worked five years with Kesslen Shoe Shop in Kennebunk. She worked 20 years at Bargain Center in Quincy, Mass., retiring in 1975.She was a member of the Biddeford American Legion Auxiliary, the Sanford VFW auxiliary and Biddeford DAV Auxiliary. She enjoyed doing home crafts and volunteering. She volunteered a few years for St. AndreÕs Group Home and 33 years with the military organizations, visiting patients in hospitals and nursing homes throughout York County.Rachel was predeceased by two brothers, three sisters and two granddaughters. Surviving are two daughters,: Claire Nadeau of Lyman, and Helen Plaugher and her husband Larry of Sarasota, Fla.; four sisters, Rita Ouellette and her husband Charles of Biddeford, Therese Delage of Biddeford, Blanche Demers and her husband Lucien of Biddeford, and Georgette Warren of Shelbyville, M.;six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three great- great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Visiting hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Sunday, at Hope Memorial Chapel. COHOES, N.Y. -- Flora Lonczak Stegel, of Front St., Cohoes, died Thursday, September 22, 2005 at Northwoods of Troy, embraced by her family. Born in Montreal, Canada, the daughter of the late Leon and Rachel La Madeleime Cyr, she came to Cohoes as a youngster and had resided there ever since. She was the wife of the late Anthony M. Lonczak. She received her education in Cohoes and retired in 1985 after 25 years as a seamstress with the former Barclay Home Products of Cohoes. She enjoyed her evenings of bingo and was a communicant of Holy Trinity Parish, Cohoes. Flora is survived by her devoted daughters, Mary Field and her husband Richard of West Sand Lake, Florence Jannicelli and her husband Donald of Cohoes; 14 grandchildren also survive, many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Melrose, MA on December 11, 1921 the daughter of William and Mary (Donahue) Fortier. Mrs. Dickson was a graduate of Wilton High School, Wilton, NH and served in the Women’s Army Corps during WWII. She lived for a brief time in Suffield, CT and had been a resident of Manchester since 1958. Mrs. Dickson was an active parishioner of St. Catherine Church, Manchester. She was a loving mother of six children and dedicated many of her years as a homemaker. Loretta loved spending time at her summer home in Alton Bay, NH with her family and grandchildren whom she loved dearly. In Her Life: She was predeceased by her husband Carl H. Dickson, former station manager of Delta Airlines in Manchester, who died in 1982; a son, Carl H. Dickson Jr. and a daughter-in-law, Karen Dickson, along with 10 brothers and sisters. Family members include 3 sons; William F. and Karyn Dickson of Bow, NH; James A. Dickson of Rochester, NH; Michael J. and Debra Dickson of Alton Bay; 2 daughters, Robert and Loretta M. (Dickson-MacEachern) Thompson of Manchester; Patricia J. (Dickson) Cavanaugh of Manchester; 1 brother, John J. Fortier of Wolfeboro, NH; 10 Grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. THOMPSON, CT— George N. Gaboury, 94, of 124 Corttis Rd., North Grosvenordale, died August 24 in Leominster. His wife, Cleytris M. (Walsh) Gaboury, died in 1995. He leaves two step-daughters, Marjorie Mingolla of Auburn and Joan Albano of California; a sister, Irene Renaud of Cape Cod; many nephews and nieces, including his caregiver, Mark E. Barrette of Webster, who was like a son to him. He was born in Worcester and raised in Webster, a son of Paul and Delia (Dion) Gaboury. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, and was a Japanese prisoner of war. He also served for 26 years in the Navy, retiring as a warrant officer. Mr. Gaboury was a self-employed carpenter for many years before retiring in 1965. He was a member of Saint Louis Church in Webster, the North Grosvenordale American Legion Post #67 and the Quinebaug Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #10088. A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, September 10, at 10:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake St., Webster. Burial, with full military honors, will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Webster. COHOES, NY -- Joseph Garceau, 72, of Walnut Street, Cohoes passed away at St. Peter's Hospice, Albany, Friday, September 23, 2005 after a long illness. He was born and educated in Cohoes and was the son of the late Alexie and Dorilla Couture Garceau. Joe worked at the Norton Company in Watervliet in the making room and retired in 1986 after many years of service. He was the king of the Italian sausage and was the biggest Yankee fan. He belonged to the National Guard and was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, Cohoes. Lowell - Margaret M. (Hurley) Favreau, 83, wife of Alfred R. Favreau, died after a very brief illness on Thursday, September 22, 2005 at the Saints Memorial Medical Center.Born in Lowell on December 24, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Margaret (Kelley) Hurley. She was employed at C R Bard where she made medical stints and worked many years at the former St. John’s Hospital in the coffee shop.A communicant of St Michael Church, she was a former prefect of the Holy Rosary Sodality and a member of the Catholic Daughters. She was active in the Lowell Senior Center. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting and other crafts and had recently signed up for a quilting class. She also enjoyed watching baseball and other sports. She will be remembered for her great hospitality .Surviving her along with her husband are a daughter, Sister Charlene Favreau CSJ of Brighton, who is the Director of Admissions and Student activities at the Jackson School Sponsored Ministry of Sisters of Saint Joseph; two sisters, Bernadette Fletcher and one of her triplets, Grace Hurley, both of Lowell; several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John T. Hurley, Dolores Wholey and her triplet sister, Estelle Hurley.

Lisa lived in Ohio for a time and had been a resident of Allenstown the past several years. She worked at the Yard Restaurant. Lisa was a caring and kind mom, daughter, sister, and was loved by all her friends. She was known for her love of animals. Lillian R. (Provost) Vigneau, 88, of Dowd Avenue, Canton, wife of the late Alfred Vigneau, died Thursday, (September 22, 2005) at McLean in Simsbury. She was born August 30, 1917 in Bridgewater, MA, daughter of the late Arthur J. and Alice Mildred (Cormier) Provost and had lived in Meredith, NH, prior to moving to Canton in 1985. Mrs. Vigneau was employed as an Office Secretary at Bridgewater State College in Massachusetts prior to her retirement in 1975. She was a member of St. Catherine Sienna Church, West Simsbury, the Canton Senior Center, a volunteer for the Canton Little League Association and a former member of Church of St. Ann, Avon. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Diane Vigneau and John Britt of Canton, and Debra and Robert Uriano of Enfield; three grandchildren, Sean and Marielle Vigneau-Britt and Ryan Vigneau.
