PISCINA, Anna (nee Marchini). 1926-2005. Peacefully on September 9 after a long and courageous battle. After 7 years apart, she has embarked on her journey to join her soul-mate, spouse and love of her life, Pietro. Cherished mother of Aldo (Marylin) and Claudio (Donna). Norma will be greatly missed by her grandchildren David, Daniel, and Alex. Also grieved by her brothers and sisters in California and Italy. She was a kind and special friend to many and could always be counted on to lend a helping hand or soothing shoulder to lean on. She loved her family and to spend time in her company was truly a gift as can be attested by those she touched. A special thanks to all her close friends who comforted and supposed her during her long struggle and to the Palliative Care unit of Sacre-Coeur Hospital. BUCKLEY, Constance Ann Registered Nurse 1934-2005 Peacefully, at the Ottawa Hospital (Civic Campus) on Saturday, September 10, 2005. Eldest daughter of the late Brian and Marguerite Buckley. Predeceased by her brother Daniel and her sister Bonnie (Baylis). She will be lovingly missed by her nephews James (Annette Chammas) and Jeffrey Baylis and her niece Karyn (Jerry Lacroix). Adoring great-aunt of Tyler and Nathan Lacroix and Nadia and Liam Chammas Baylis. Sister-in-law to Scott Baylis. Her lifelong dedication to nursing touched so many and she leaves behind many dear friends, particularly those of the Ottawa Civic Hospital Alumnae. Elle fut prédécédée par ses frères: Laurent, Clément et Paul-Emile et par ses soeurs: Catherine Leclair, Sr. Jeanne-D'Arc, Florenche et Adrienne Latour. Il n'y aura pas de visites au salon, cependant un service religieux en présence des cendres sera célébré mercredi le 14 septembre 2005 à 13h en l'église St-Matthieu, secteur Gatineau. Ouellette, Yvette OUELLETTE - Soeur Yvette Ouellette, (Cécile-de-la-Charité) des Soeurs de la Charité d'Ottawa, est décédée à Ottawa le 11 septembre 2005 à l'âge de 84 ans, dont 61 ans de profession religieuse. Elle était la fille de Lionel Ouellette et de Cécile Chénier, tous deux décédés. Née à Hull, Québec, elle entra en religion le 1er août 1942 et fit profession le 15 juillet 1944. Outre sa famille religieuse, elle laisse dans le deuil; ses soeurs: Jeanne (feu René Provost), Jeannine (feu René Robert), Madeleine (feu Bob Dinelle), un frère Robert (feu Lina Godard), ses neveux et nièces, ses cousins et cousines. Elle fut prédécédée par trois soeurs: Thérèse, Lucille, Jeannette (feu Bernard Ménard) et un frère: Léo (feu Lucile Bédard) et une demi-soeur: Laurielle (feu Conrad Gingras). La dépouille mortelle reposera à la Maison mère, 9, rue Bryère, Ottawa, à compter de 16h le lundi 12 septembre 2005. La messe des funérailles sera célébrée en la chapelle de la Maison mère, le mardi 13 septembre 2005 à 13h30, suivie de l'inhumation au cimetière Notre-Dame d'Ottawa. Alcide Doiron l'Acadie Nouvelle - 12 septembre 2005 SHEDIAC BRIDGE - À l’Hôpital régional Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont de Moncton, le dimanche 11 septembre 2005, à l’âge de 65 ans, est décédé Alcide Doiron, époux de Hélène (Babineau) Doiron, domicilié à Shediac Bridge, 3928, route 134. Né le 21 juin 1940, il était fils de feu Emile Doiron et de feu Rita Bourgeois. Il laisse dans le deuil trois fils: Guy (Phyllis) de Shédiac, Paul (Marie-Claude) et Michel (Dany), tous deux de Moncton; trois soeurs: Marianne Doiron et Doris Gauvin (Francis), toutes deux de Barachois et Lorraine Landry (Normand) de Dupuis Corner; un frère, Arsène (Irène) de Dupuis Corner, ainsi que deux petits-enfants: les jumeaux Thomas et Emma. Un frère, Adrice (1982), l’a précédé dans la tombe. M. Doiron a été directeur de l’école de Robichaud Office pendant 24 ans et a été professeur pendant 35 ans. Né le 6 juin 1916, il était fils de feu Adelbert Robichaud et de feu Laura-May Luce. Outre son épouse, il laisse dans le deuil une fille, Murielle (Louis Chiasson) de Shippagan; cinq soeurs: Lorraine Mazerolle de Moncton, Yvette (Albénie Goupil) de Dalhousie, Virginia (Norbert Ward) d’Oshawa, Ont. Nicole (John Harper) de Fredericton et Gaëtanne (Bernard Benoît) de Lamèque; deux frères: Roland (Irène) de Savoy Landing et Robert (Lynn) d’Oshawa, Ont., ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Trois soeurs: Majella, Alice et Zelma, ainsi que cinq frères: Adelbert, Théodule, Aldoris, Raoul et Aldin, l’ont précédé dans la tombe. M. Robichaud était membre de la Légion canadienne de Lamèque. WEBBER, CAPT. MURRAY T. (RET.) Passed away peacefully in Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care in Lunenburg, NS, on September 8, 2005. Born May 5, 1925, in Chester Basin, Murray was a son of the late Maxwell and Greta (Bauchman) Webber. Murray was a veteran of the Second World War, serving with the RCAF for 3 years. After the war, Murray attended the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, for two years. He then returned to the RCAF where he served for 27 years, retiring with the rank of Captain. Upon retirement, he moved to Bridgewater where he worked for Michelin Tire for 13 years as a Security Officer. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Muriel (Hirtle); sons, Craig (Debby), Lawrencetown, NS; Byron (Janice), Fredericton; daughter, Eileen (Howard) Demone, Bridgewater, NS; sisters, Joyce Rogers, Edmonton, Alta.; Betty (Dean) Eisnor, Chester Basin; 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. ROBICHAUD, CHARLES A. It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden death of Charles A. Robichaud of Saint John. He was born in Minto in 1940. His death occurred at his summer home at the Grand Lake on Friday, September 9th, 2005. He is survived by his wife Nancy (DeBouver) Robichaud, three daughters; Karen Robichaud (Dave Daley), Vicki March (Derek) and Cindy Robichaud, three grandsons; Devin March, Thomas Daley and Patrick Daley and two brothers; Henry (Betty) Robichaud and John Robichaud of Minto. He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Louise (Villers) Robichaud. Charlie graduated from UNB Civil Engineering in 1964 and was a lifetime member of APEGNB. He retired from the City of Saint John in 1998. He enjoyed many hobbies including photography, wood working, carving, hunting and fishing. He took great delight in sharing his hobbies and interests with his family and especially his love of fishing with his grandsons this past summer. BLANEY, ALDEN EVERETT A funeral service was held for Alden E. Blaney of Hawkins Corner at Flewelling Funeral Home, Nackawic on September 11, 2005. Rev. Donald MacDougall officiated at the service. Music was provided by Randy and Tammy Griffiths. Alden was born at Maple Ridge in 1918, a son of the late John E. and Laura E. (Parrish) Blaney. Growing up in Charter's Settlement prepared her well for the farming life she shared with her husband, the late Theodore Hallett, in Douglas. Gerald "Fish" LeBlanc 1950 - 2005 Gerald "Fish" LeBlanc, 55, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, September 9, 2005. Born in Memramcook, he was the son of the late Ola and Arthemise (Breau) LeBlanc. He was employed with Canada Post for 30 years. He also served as Chief Shop Stewart for CUPW, a position he was dedicated to and took seriously to benefit his fellow co-workers. He attended Saint Louis de France Church. Fish was an avid crib player and enjoyed playing pool with his friends, his favorite pastime was playing cards on the Internet. His will be most remembered by his friends for his teasing and his sense of humour. He was a captain with the Canadian Cancer Society Canvessing Campaign. James J. Heffernan 1935 - 2005 With saddened hearts, we announce the death of James Joseph Heffernan, 70, of Moncton, surrounded by his loving family, at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, September 10, 2005. Born in Sydney, NS, he was the son of the late Jacob and Margaret (Emberley) Heffernan. Jim was an active member of his community, both in Sydney as a Draftsman and as an Air Traffic Controller in Moncton (retired 1989). Jim was an active golfer and curler. He was past president of the Beausejour Curling Club and former member of The Moncton Golf and Curling Club. He actively promoted Junior Curling, was the administrator for the NB Curling Assoc. and wrote the Curling Column in the Moncton Transcript for 13 years. He was former secretary of the Silver Broom and Labatt Briar Curling Bonspiels held in Moncton. He was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus, and an active member of St. Augustine's Council #7940 K of C. DONNER, VIVIAN PAULINE (KINDRED) - On Thursday, September 8, 2005, Vivian P. Donner, widow of Norman Winston Donner, passed away unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Patricia (Cameron) Kindred. Vivian was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church and was previously employed with Centracare for a number of years in the Food Services Division. Vivian was an original West Sider who frequently visited the West Branch Library. She was an avid reader, a lover of music and craft work, and a past Girl Guide Leader. She could always be seen walking with her sisters Patsi and Agnes. She will be sadly missed. Vivian is survived by her brothers Gerald (Betty Ann Maloney), John (Agnes), and Laurie (Patty Trecartin); sisters Mary Ellen Kindred and Patsy Cobham (Wesley); several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and her step-daughter Sheila and step-grandson Richard. MASON, JAMES W. - Mr. James W. Mason of Watertown, Massachusetts, passed away at his residence on September 7, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in the Head of Millstream, NB on February 14, 1931, he was the son of the late Malcolm and Mary Alice (Miller) Mason. He is survived by Leona M. McDIARMID, MILDRED L. - Passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, September 9, 2005 at the age 95. Born in Saint John West, she was the daughter of the Late William and the late Charlotte (Dickson) McDiarmid. She was the last member of her immediate family. Retired from Domtar in 1975, she was also a member of St. Jude's Anglican Church. DUBUC SR., KENNETH E., Kenneth Edward Dubuc Sr. peacefully continued his journey to the first tee in the heavens, Sunday, September 4, 2005. Overlooking his 12th hole, par 3 at home, he was surrounded, by family and loved ones. Ken was born in Cranston, RI, December 13, 1939. He touched many lives through his residences in New York, Connecticut, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Australia and Florida. His many achievements included treasurer, president, and chairman of many and varied national and international corporations. This resulted in his traveling to thirty-six countries and having the privilege of golfing in every one of them. He served on many boards and volunteered for many organizations. He was a passionate golfer, wine enthusiast, and conversationalist. By far the greatest love of all, was his soulmate and spouse, Michele Massoni- Dubuc; his four children, and nine grandchildren. Survivors include his spouse, Michele, his four children, Dawn Cave of Alpharetta, GA, Kim Dickey of Louisville, KY, Kenneth Dubuc, Jr. of Alexandria, KY, Jennifer Valdez of Alexandria, KY; stepson, Robert Aneroluk of Cambridge Bay, NU, Canada. His grandchildren include, Megan and Eric Cave; John Lewis Catlett and Lauren Dickey; Kelsey, Morgan and Reilley Dubuc; and Dylan and Amber Valdez. Ken's siblings include Joan Williams of Wakefield, RI, Donald of Buford, GA, and Norman of Boca Raton, FL. He is the loving son-in-law of Leon and Vivienne Massoni, Portsea, Vic., Austrailia; nephew-in-law Jean Relph of Beaumaris, Vic., Austrilia, brother-in-law Janine Massoni, of Mt. WATERVILLE -- Runa Rachael (Breton) Donovan, 91, died peacefully with her family at her side at Lakewood Continuing Care Center on Friday, Sept. 9, 2005.Runa was born on May 27, 1914, in Waterville to parents Rose (Belanger) and Arthur Breton.She was educated in local schools and married Wallace Donovan on Aug. 30, 1937. They were married for 57 years, until Wally's death in 1994. Together they raised three children. Runa was predeceased by her daughter Patricia Byrd in 1985. She was also predeceased by her parents; a sister, Jeanette; and a brother, Pearly. She is survived by her other daughter, Sandra Stevens and her son Wally and wife Jeannie, all of Waterville. She is also survived by a sister, Evelyn Roy of Waterville; five grandchildren, Roxanne Buchanan and husband Robert of Michigan, Sondra Ferguson and husband Bob of North Carolina, Heather Donovan of New York City, N.Y., Shannon Donovan and her partner, Troy Bowden, of Canaan, and William Donovan, also of Canaan; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Malone of North Carolina, and Max Bowden of Canaan; and several nieces and nephews.A homemaker during most of her marriage, Runa devoted her married life to her husband, Wally; and his athletic endeavors and her children. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at Lily Bay on Moosehead Lake. In later years, after her husband's passing, Runa became active locally in The Foxy Ladies and Touch of Class line-dance troupes, who entertained at many nursing homes and local events. She was a proud member of The Thursday Out to Lunch Group, and a charter member of the Touch of Class Red Hatters. WEST YARMOUTH - '' A. Roland Robert, 82, died Friday at his home. He was the husband of Natalie F. (Souza) Robert for 59 years. Mr. Robert was born in Fairhaven and raised in Hyannis. He served in the Navy during World War II from 1942-46 as a machinist mate. He was the longtime owner and operator of Robert Cleaners in West Yarmouth. He enjoyed music and was an avid pianist. Besides his wife, survivors include two daughters, Donna Thomas of West Yarmouth and Diane Montgomery of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Rita Childs of Hyannis and Beatrice Wheeler of West Yarmouth; a brother, Albert Robert of Arizona; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. CORINTH -- Miriam Snyder Rivette, 74, of Center Street passed away on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005 at Saratoga Hospital following a short illness. Born on January 28, 1931 in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Mary (Vetter) Snyder.Mrs. Rivette completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at the State University of New York in Plattsburgh. She started her teaching career in Broadalbin, New York. In 1954, she embarked on a 'longtime love affair' with the Corinth Central School system as an elementary school teacher. A dedicated teacher, she was known as a strict disciplinarian with a resounding voice who had a special attraction to 'erasers.' Always commanding respect, she had a knack for turning the little ones' fears into admiration and love by the year's end. Advising extracurricular activities of the school, Mrs. Rivette worked with cheerleaders as well as several classes through the years. Although retired, she continued to be active substituting and serving as 'Madame Ticket Taker' at all the sporting events. A lifetime member of the New York State Teachers Association, she was an active member of NYSUT Retiree Council No. 10, participating in their activities and trips. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, Greenfield Center.She was especially proud of her membership in the Red Hat Society, participating in two groups: Queen of the Spa in Greenfield and Jessup's Landing in Saratoga. She spent many enjoyable outings with them.Miriam was a caring, generous person who loved her flower garden, the Christmas holidays and found great pleasure remembering her many friends on special occasions in their life.Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Peter Rivette, in 1979, and by her brother William in 2004.She is survived by two sons, Edward Rivette Jr., and his wife, Julie, of Corinth, and Kevin Rivette of Albany; two granddaughters, Charlene of Corinth and Anita of Cave City, Ky; five great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Pat, of Malverne, Long Island; and her ex-husband, Edward Rivette Sr. of Corinth.A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, 200, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception of Corinth, 409 Palmer Ave., Corinth, with the Rev.
