Chartrand, Anita MLLE ANITA CHARTRAND est décédée le vendredi 12 août 2005, à l'âge de 100 et 8 mois. Elle était la fille de feu Damien Chartrand et de feu Marie Charron. Elle laisse dans le deuil plusieurs neveux, nièces et une amie très chère, Jeanne Marcelle Renaud. Elle fut prédécédée par sa soeur Agnès Robillard et ses 2 frères: Omer et Rémie. WOOLWICH - Philip A. Roy, 52, of McKenzie Lane, died Friday, Aug. 12, at his home.He was born in Lewiston, Nov. 3, 1952. He attended Lewiston schools and graduated from Lewiston High School.He was employed at Pecks Department Store in Lewiston and later by Bisson's Moving and Storage in West Bath as a truck driver. He was employed at Bath Iron Works as a tinsmith for the past 16 years.He married the former Joan L. Isbart.He was a member of the Wiscasset Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed collecting antique swords and coins, and his dog, "Thumper."He is survived by two sons, Toby J. Isbart of Woolwich and Paul K. Isbart of Woolwich; one daughter, Shelby J. Isbart of Bath; and two grandchildren, Ben Hinds and Chelsea Hinds.He was predeceased by his wife, Joan L. Roy, on July 14, 1999.

Thomas John Killbery October 03, 1912 - August 15, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Chapel Lawn Funeral Home With great love and wonderful memories, the family of Thomas John Killbery announces his peaceful passing on August 15, 2005 at his residence in Winnipeg. His favorite place was the cottage at Granite Lake, Ontario. He had just spent the weekend there. He will be missed by his children Wayne (Ann) Killbery, Barry (Kathy) Killbery, Lynn (Russell) Crockett and Sharon Killbery (Bruce Nichols). He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Wendy (Neil) MacDonald, Russell (Marie) Killbery, Tom (Carol) Killbery, Traci Longley, Robin (Rob) Carnegie, Lori (Dean) McAuley, Ross (Barb) Killbery, Art Killbery, Brian (Tammy) Crockett, Steve (Kim) Crockett, Stacey (Dennis) Polet, Kelly and Alexis Nichols. He will be missed by his great grandchildren John MacDonald, Neil McDonald and his partner Chantel, Meaghan and Garth Killbery, Scott Eros (Cherise), Jill (Kevin) Demianiw, Wes Killbery, Andrew, Cory and Tess Longley, Sydney and Danielle Carnegie, Taylor and Troy McAuley, Michael and Jennifer Killbery, Ryan, Brady and Teagen Crockett, Alyssa and Cameron Crockett. As well he had three great great-grandchildren Whitney Demianiw, Desireë and Dominique Eros. He now joins his wife Alice, daughter Gail, his brother Bill and his parents Thomas and Nellie. Dad was born October 3, 1912 in Brandon. He married Alice Bridges in 1935 and they had 64 years of marriage before Alice passed away. Dad served in the Army out of Winnipeg. When the war was over he started an agricultural manufacturing business called Killbery Industries with his brother in January, 1949. He had the respect of all his employees and always put their best interest at the front. All will remember his Christmas parties for the children of all employees and the great adult Christmas parties as well. He always thought of the children and especially at Christmas. In 1971 Killbery Industries was purchased by Joe MacDonald and renamed MacDon Industries. They have always kept Dad up to date with what is happening in the agricultural world. Dad was one of the primary people involved with setting up the Industrial Park in St. James and getting the railroad in. He was past president of the Chamber of Commerce for St. James. During his tenure he was instrumental in having the Grace hospital moved to its present location and having the St. James Civic Center built in St. James. Dad was a member of the Masons and a Shriner. His grandson Ross Killbery presented him with his 50 year pin from the Masons in 2004. He was past president of the Oriental Band. He had 35 years with the Shrine. His grandchildren will always remember seeing their grandpa march with the Oriental Band at the Shrine Circus. Dad was a reader, avid cribbage and rummy tile player, and loved life, people, parties, excitement and lived it right to the end. A celebration service of our father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2005 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren Russell Killbery, Tom Killbery, Ross Killbery, Art Killbery, Brian Crockett and Steve Crockett. As a special honour to Dad, Gary MacDonald will be playing his favourite Scottish music on the pipes. Margaret M. Neilson Margaret Mary Neilson, 84, of ProTem Health Services, Gorge Road, Moncton and formerly of Dieppe, passed away at her residence on Sunday, August 14, 2005. Born in Cormier Cove, she was the daughter of the late Albenie and Modeste (Cormier) Gautreau. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Adolph (Dolph) Neilson in 1996. Marg and Dolph raised their family on Church Street in Moncton and moved to Dieppe in the eighties. Many summer and winter weekends were spent at their cottage in Caissie Cape and numerous leisure trips to Florida were enjoyed as well. In the year 2000 Margaret moved to Parkland Estates in Halifax where she lived until 2002 at which time she returned to Moncton to take up residence at ProTem. Marg had an insatiable zest for life and gracefully met any challenge. Left to mourn her passing, with emptiness in their hearts are her four children, Barb Pelletier (Gary) and David, both of Moncton, Diane and Brian (Maurice McNeille) of Halifax; as well as her two grandchildren, Kari McLellan of Charlottetown and Jonathan Neilson (Melissa); and one great grandchild, Kailey, all of Moncton. Marg is also survived by two sisters, Yvonne Gautreau, Eugenie DeYoung; as well as a special sister-in-law, Ida Gautreau, all of Dieppe. JEANNE MARY DEFORGE SHELBURNE — Jeanne Mary Deforge passed away Aug. 14, 2005, after a lengthy illness. She died at home with her sisters at her side. Jeanne was born in Burlington, May 17, 1947, the daughter of the late Clement and Marguerite Deforge. She graduated from Burlington High School and the Vermont College of Cosmetology. Jeanne worked as a hair- dresser in her early years, then as an aide at Birchwood Terrace Healthcare for many years as a home health aide with the Visiting Nurses Association. We will remember Jeanne as a kind and caring person who was always a wonderful aunt to her nieces and nephews. Her memory will forever be a blessing. Her brother and sister-in-law, Lou and Marilyn Deforge of Burlington; her sister and brotherin-law, Jacquelyn and Andre Yandow of Swanton; and her sister, Joan Schofield of St. Albans, survive Jean. "Deke" Descoteaux, 88, a Lowell resident who was a retired linotype operator for a local printing company and a World War II veteran, died Sunday morning, Aug. 14, at Lowell General Hospital. He was the husband of Yvette (Lambert) Descoteaux.He was born in Lowell on April 20, 1917, son of the late Edward and Alexina (Vaillancourt) Descoteaux.Mr. Descoteaux was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army Air Forces, earning the rank of sergeant. He was the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal, the Victory Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Theater Campaign Ribbon and the American Theater Campaign Ribbon. He later served in the Navy Reserve.Before retiring, Mr. Descoteaux was a linotype operator for Courier Citizen for many years.He was a member of the VFW Walker Rogers Post 662 in Lowell, the Association for the Blind and the Salvation Army.Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Adrienne Descoteaux of Cleveland and Denise Schadlick of Phoenix; two grandchildren, Juliet Gilbert of Nashua and Drake Daniels Jr., a member of the Navy, of Maryland; and three sisters, Lillian Talmer, Anita Gavlik and Rita Chartier, all of Lowell.He was also the brother of the late Irene Klein and Claire Dicicco. Daniel Richard Levesque, 53, of Manchester, beloved father of Eric and Timothy Levesque, died on Sunday (August 14, 2005). Daniel was born and raised in Hartford, the son of Malvina (Bellefleur) Levesque of Manchester and the late Lionel Levesque. He has been a resident of Manchester for the past 18 years. WEST SPRINGIELD- Gerald "Jerry" J. Proulx, 64, of West Springfield and formerly of Springfield, passed away on Saturday August 13, 2005 at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton. Jerry was born in Greenfield on October 28, 1940 the son of the late Wilfred and Frances (Barabey) Proulx. He was U.S. Air Force veteran serving his country during the Korean Conflict. Jerry was a mechanic and owned several service stations in the greater Springfield area for 20 years. He also owned Fredette Express Trucking Company for six years. Jerry is survived by his two sons, William and Bryan Proulx, both of Chicopee, a daughter, Janet Burke-Allen and her husband Douglas of Longmeadow, three grandchildren, Haley, Kelsey and Tanner, a brother, Bryan Proulx of Bennington, VT, two sisters, Jean Marie Hatley and Rena Shepard, both of Vermont, his former wife, Yvonne (Beaulieu) Proulx, and several nieces and nephews. Born at the Hotel Dieu Hospital in Chatham on October 10, 1935, she was the daughter of Alice (Noble-Savoy) Poirier and the late John Noble. She is predeceased by her husband, Ephrem Richard (August 1, 2005). She will be greatly missed by her loving family, Charline (Bernard Doiron); Paula, Jacqueline (Brian Murphy); Gary (Nadine), and Kim (Dave Steeves). Her greatest source of strength and comfort - her pride and joy were her beloved grandchildren (her angels). She was a much loved and adored Nana to Aaron and Travis; Maeve, Megan and Bronwyn; Cody and Bryanna and Jonathon, as well as her furry four legged grandchild - Willie. She is also survived by four brothers, Robert (Molly), Wayne, Kevin (Christa), and Keith and one sister Lorna (Lloyd Savoy) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Edna Jimmo, July 21, 2005. She started her nursing career at the Chatham Hospital and joined the staff at The Moncton Hospital where she worked until ill health forced her retirement. Following her cremation, visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton on Thursday, August 18, 2005 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Mr. Adam Thomas Angus February 19, 1974 - August 14, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Jenkens Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre Angus: Adam Thomas Angus died suddenly in Thornhill, Ontario on Sunday, August 14, 2005. Born in Thunder Bay on February 19, 1974 Adam was the only son of Lee Angus (Ed Dale) of Thornhill and Iain Angus (Marlene Lindsay) of Thunder Bay. He is survived by a sister, Susan DeGrazia (Mike) and their children Ashley, Kelsey and Nicholas of Thunder Bay. He was predeceased by a sister Rebecca Lee Angus in 1973. Also surviving are grandparents Tom and Evelyn Towns of Thunder Bay, Uncle and Aunt Calvin and Maureen Towns and their daughters (Sherwood Park, Alberta), Uncle Murray Angus and his daughters (Ottawa), his step-grandfather Owen Lindsay (Atikokan), step-sister Laura Gatto (Peter) and their three children (Guelph) and a step-brother Adrian Dale (Toronto). Adam is also survived by lifetime family friends Allan, Roz, Alison (Mark), Aaron and Samantha Cox (Rob). Numerous other relatives also survive. In Thunder Bay Adam attended Queen Elizabeth and Agnew Johnston lementary schools and Churchill High School. He graduated from Confederation College with a diploma in General Arts and Science. As a youngster he was a member of the Thunderbolts Swim Club and later competed in ski jumping events such as the national junior competition at Calgary Olympic Park. Adam spent most of his adult life working for the New Democratic Party as a volunteer and as a staff member. He worked in numerous elections across the country, served as campaign manager in one by-election and was co-ordinator of the Fort Frances campaign of ONDP Leader Howard Hampton, MPP. He also spent significant time conducting membership drives across Ontario. For two years he worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Hon. Lorne Nystrom, NDP Member of Parliament in his Ottawa office and provided initial co-ordination on the MP’s last leadership campaign. He had been involved in the labour movement as a member and activist in UFCW, CEP and most recently IBEW, where he was pursuing an electrical apprenticeship. He was also active with The Friends of Chippewa Park. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Adam Angus will be held on Friday, August 19 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. A private family interment will occur at a later time. A tree will be planted in Adam’s memory at Chippewa Park. NADEAU, Dr Jean 25 avril 1917 - 16 août 2005 À l'Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal, le 16 août 2005, à l'âge de 88 ans, est décédé le docteur Jean Nadeau, époux du Dr Claude Béïque, père de Nicole, Danielle (Dave McMillan) de Calgary, Pierre, André et feu Louis. Il laisse aussi dans le deuil cinq petits-enfants: Geneviève et Simon Pepin, Christopher, Matthew et Stirling McMillan; sa soeur Françoise Larose de Sherbrooke, ses beaux-frères et belles-soeurs, ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nièces. He was a member of several scientific societies, being a Fellow of the Quebec Dental Academy, a Fellow of the Royal College of Canada and a member of the American of Maxillofacial Prosthetics. Outside of his professional career, he was known for having a wide variety of interests. One of these was the study of languages such as Spanish and more recently Chinese (both spoken and calligraphy). Messier, 84, died Aug. 14, 2005, at Mount Ascutney Hospital and Health Center Emergency Department in Windsor.She was born Dec. 19, 1920, in Windsor, the daughter of Fred J. and Maude (Kendall) Bradway.She graduated from Windsor High School in 1938.She married Bernard C. "Nemo" Messier in Windsor on Sept. 8, 1939.Mrs. Messier had worked at the family-owned Windsor Diner for many years. She was later employed at Prevo's Gas and Appliance Store in Windsor for several years. ROCK HILL, S.C. - Paul Burton Cote, 71, died Thursday Aug 11, 2005, at his home. Paul was a native of Limestone, and the son of the late Reuben and Annette (Cyr) Cote. Mr. Cote was a member of Saint Anne's Catholic Church. He retired from the Internal Revenue Service in 1989. Mr. Cote served in the U.S. Air Force and the Naval Air Reserves. He volunteered at Piedmont Medical Center Emergency department and Hope Inc. Mr. Cote chaired the board of Children's Attention Home in the mid 1980's. He was a foster parent of DSS for 26 years.
