PRESSEAU, Ferdinand 1920 - 2005 À Mascouche, le 21 mai 2005, à l'âge de 84 ans, est décédé M. Ferdinand Presseau. ADAMS -- Elizabeth Mary Yates, 79, of 188 Main St., Ashfield, formerly of Adams, died early yesterday morning at home. Born in Cheshire on July 18, 1925, daughter of Albert and Minnie Curtis Magnant, she attended schools in Cheshire and Adams. She had lived for many years in East Hawley and returned to Adams in 1973, residing on Walling Road. She moved to Ashfield in 2004. Mrs. Yates was employed for several years at the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and of its Women's and Altar guilds, chancel choir and Prayer Chain. She was a founder of the former AMEN (A Meeting of Ecumenical Neighbors) food pantry at St. Mark's. She also volunteered with the Red Cross. Her husband, Richard D. Yates, whom she married July 4, 1947, died Dec. 30, 1993. She leaves a son, Richard Yates of Hawley; three daughters, Nancy Cwalinski and Sally Yates, with both of whom she resided, and Elizabeth Celentano of Adams; a brother, Albert Magnant of Ladson, S.C.; 10 grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.Another son, Mark Yates, died May 8, 1998. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Requiem Eucharist for Elizabeth Yates, who died May 24, 2005, will be celebrated Saturday, May 28, at 10 in St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Adams, by the Rev. Jane Dunning. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 at AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Franklin County or Boy Scout Troop 38 in Adams through the funeral home. Francois Jr., Alvin A. -- A retired employee of United Gas Pipeline Co. and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died Thursday, May 19, 2005, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 57 and a native of New Orleans. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. Visiting at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church on Friday, May 27, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Sam Maranto. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Karen Moss Francois; mother, Audrey Baptist Francois; two daughters, Danneea J. Brown and Melissa A. Francois; son, Dexter G. Francois; three sisters, Sandra Robinson, Glenda Kennedy and Nanette Francis; brother, Kenneth Francois; five grandchildren; in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Andrea Ciamacco March 04, 1934 - May 22, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) CIAMACCO, Andrea - Dartmouth. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Andrea Ciamacco on May 22, 2005. He passed away peacefully with family at his side. Born on March 4, 1934 in Introdacqua, L'Aquila, Italy, he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Brigida (Spinosa) Ciamacco. At the age of 17, Andrea moved to France with his brother where he learned the trade of bricklaying and stone masonry. In 1956 he came to Canada where he worked for numerous construction companies until he successfully started and co-owned Rome Masonry Ltd. and European Masonry Ltd. for over 30 years. He was well-known in the Italian community and will be remembered as a kind and generous man who devoted his love to his family, friends, and neighbours. Andrea was very active and always went out of his way to do a favour or lend a helping hand. He was an inventive and creative individual, and if there was a way to build something or fix something, he found it. Those who knew him well will never forget his hard work ethic and expertise in his trade, his superb homemade wine, tasty sausages, amazing vegetable gardens and flourishing fruit trees. Andrea will be greatly missed and remain in all of our hearts. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lidia (Feliziani); daughters, Maria Cristina (Mauro Morucci), Italy; Sandra (Ken Cormier), Daniela, Nadia (Chris Burke), and his son, Stefano, all of Dartmouth; grandchildren, Davide and Daniele, Italy, and little Luke; sisters, Bambina and Maria, Italy; Agnesina and brother Joe, both of Columbus, Ohio; many nieces and nephews. Born in Manchester on March 2, 1953 she was the daughter of Conrad and Felicia (Dachowski) Dionne. Mrs. Muszynski was part of the last graduating class of Immaculata High School in 1971. She was a parishioner of St. Hedwig Church and a life long resident of the city. Recently, she was employed as an office manager with MEDOX Inc. in Goffstown where she had worked for over 8 years. Mrs. Muszynki was a devoted wife and mother who, for over 31 years, cared for her son with Down syndrome. Robert “Bob” Edward Levesque, 81, of Merrimack, N.H., formerly of Nashua, died May 23, 2005, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua.Mr. Levesque was born Jan. 24, 1924, in Nashua, son of the late Auguste and Justine (Ouellette) Levesque.He was the husband of Therese (Schmit) Levesque of Merrimack, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage.Mr. Levesque graduated from Nashua High School in 1941. After graduation, he enlisted in the Navy and served in World War II aboard the USS Evarts and in Japan. While serving 22 years for his country, he raised a family of five while at duty stations in Canada, the United States and Italy.Following his retirement from the Navy, he worked for many years at Nashua Corp. in Nashua and Merrimack, and Ideal Tape Co. in Lowell, Mass.Mr. Levesque was a devoted husband and father, and his interests and joys were in family life, helping his children in any possible way and enjoying his now many grandchildren. GIROUARD, Raymond. 1919-2005. Peacefully at Ste. Anne Veteran's Hospital, on May 23, 2005. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Harte). Wonderful father to Janice (Roy Strong), Lorraine (Richard Penney), Roslyn (Jean-Marc Dubois), Gerald (Kathy Wood) and Theresa (Ken Bell). Manseau, Dorothy Ann - Coleman Scarborough, ME 70, passed away After a 13 year battle with multiple myeloma on May 22, 2005. Born in Medford, MA to James and Dorothy (Downey) Coleman, she attended St. Joseph's High School in Manchester, NH. She attended Framingham State Teachers College for 2 years and transferred to U.N.H., where she received her B.S. in Clothing and Textiles. She married Henry Manseau of Gardner, MA in 1956 and they had five children. Dorothy taught Family and Consumer Sciences for 28 years at Walsh Middle School in Framingham, MA. Dorothy is survived by loving husband Henry; children Gerald, Christopher, Catherine, Thomas and their spouses; grandchildren Lindsay, Katlyn, Megan, Michael, Dominique, and Benjamin. She was predeceased by her infant son Sean. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at ST. MAXIMILIAN KOLBE CHURCH at 150 Black Point Road, Scarborough, ME at 11AM on May 26, 2005. LEATHER, Margaret Patricia 78 years. Born in Boston, Mass. on May 15, 1927. Passed away peacefully at home on May 20, 2005. Beloved wife of James Edward (Ted). Chartrand, Mathilda CHARTRAND - Mme Mathilda (née Mainville) Autrefois de Curran, ON, est décédée paisiblement entourée de sa famille, le samedi 21 mai 2005, à l'âge de 88 ans. Elle était l'épouse bien-aimée de feu Rémi Chartrand. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Hubert (Diane Sauvé), Cécile, Rachel (André Vinette), Madeleine et Roger, ainsi que ses deux petits-enfants: Marc (Brigitte Marion), Daniel Vinette et ses deux arrière-petits-enfants: Nathaniel et Nadège Vinette. Lui survivent également plusieurs beaux-frères, belles-soeurs, neveux et nièces. Un service religieux aura lieu le jeudi 26 mai 2005 à 11h en l'église St-Luc à Curran; inhumation au cimetière paroissial.
