NORTH ANDOVER -- Anita E. (Nault) Censullo, 71, a resident of North Andover and former longtime resident of Lawrence, died Monday, April 4, at Prescott House Nursing Home in North Andover. She was the wife of the late Carl D. Censullo, to whom she was married for 45 years.She was born and educated in Lawrence.Mrs. Censullo worked as a supervisor for Avatar, also known as E.J. Systems, in Lawrence. According to her family, she loved to cook for family gatherings and spend time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed needlepoint.Her survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Donald L. and Joyce R. WESTBROOK - Lavinia Elena Onitiu-Gelineau was born Oct. 16, 1979 in Sibiu, Romania (die April 1st 2005) . She leaves behind her mother, Iulia Onitiu; a brother, Marius Onitiu; father-in-law, John Gelineau; her mother; and father-in-law, Vicky and Jesse Chicoine.Lavinia was predeceased by her husband SGT. Christopher D. Gelineau who died on Apr. 20, 2004 in Mosul, Iraq.Lavi and Chris' relationship is a real life 'Love Story,' ending in tragedy. They met at University of Southern Maine, during the summer session of 2001, painting the walls of Portland Hall. Lavi mentioned she was having computer problems and Chris, who was a computer science major, offered to help. Thus started their relationship and after a short courtship, they decided to marry. They were first married on Apr. 6, 2002 in Colchester, Vt., and renewed their vows on May 17, 2003 in Sibiu, Romania. They resided in Portland, until Chris was activated with the 133rd unit of the Army National Guard in January 2004. Their last meeting was over the Valentine's Day holiday 2004 in Fort Drum, N.Y., before Chris deployed to Iraq.Lavi had recently moved into a new house and was onto restarting her life. A friend remembers her saying, 'I am happy, but it's just a house not a home. My home is where Chris is.' After receiving two degrees at USM, she went to work at STRIVE, a non-profit organization that helps young adults with intellectual and emotional disabilities. At the time of her death, she had plans to return to school to get her master's degree.Lavi has a healing soul. She was a generous caring person who constantly helped others. Even while dealing with her grief, she was passionate about comforting fellow families of the Iraqi war casualties and communicating with members of the 133rd who were still stationed in Iraq. Anyone who met Lavi knows the tremendous impact of her devotion and affection. The friendships she initiated and maintained is indicative of her love for life and people. Visiting hours will be held from 3-8 p.m., Thursday, Apr. 7 and Friday, Apr. 8 at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St., Portland. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Apr. 9 at Woodfords Congregational Church.

LAKE CITY, Fla. -- Rene "Ray" A. Berube, 76, of Lake City died unexpectedly Saturday, April 2, 2005, at Veterans Hospital. He was the husband of Judy (Mullen) Berube. Born in New Bedford, Mass., he was the son of the late Antonio and Beatrice Berube. He lived in New Bedford for 17 years before moving to Florida. Mr. Berube was a Korean War veteran. He worked as a boat builder until his retirement. Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Patricia Carreira of New Bedford; a son, Jerry Berube of Georgia; three stepdaughters, Dana, Donna and Don, all of Florida; a stepson, Eugene of Georgia; three sisters, Vivian Coleman of Fairhaven, Jeanne Furtado of New Bedford and Claire Schaub of Denver; a brother, Marcel L. Berube of New Bedford; many grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Roland A. Berube. A memorial Mass will be at a later date. Arrangements were made in Florida.

LEWISTON - Jeannine A. Poisson, 75, of 76 College St., in Lewiston, died early Monday morning, April 4, at Central Maine Medical Center.She was born in Lewiston, Aug. 4, 1929, the only child of Richard and Alberta (Laplante) Conley. She was educated in local schools and remained a lifelong resident of this community.On June 27, 1953, she married Richard A. Poisson and they would have celebrated 52 wonderful years together this year. She worked more than 40 years in the healthcare profession at CMMC as a certified nurse's aid until her retirement in 1993. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Church and in her free time enjoyed making popcorn, shopping at Marden's, reading, collecting, playing cards and traveling. After their 25th anniversary, they traveled for the next 12 years Disneyland and then to Aruba and the Bahamas.She leaves her husband of 51 years, Richard A. Poisson of Lewiston; a daughter, Dorothy Poisson of Lewiston; five sons, David Poisson and his wife, Debbie, of Sabattus, Denis Poisson of Bath, Donald Poisson of Lewiston, Daniel Poisson and his wife, Karen, of Lewiston and Douglas Poisson of Lewiston; nine grandchildren Jennifer, Maranda, Travis, Donna-Ann, Julie, Jakob, Jeremy, Lukas and Joshua Poisson; and four great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Kyra and Colby Poisson and Cyrus Brackley.She was predeceased by her parents.

Steven Martin Lefebvre, 64, Madison, died unexpectedly on March 31, 2005, while in Houston, Texas. He was born on Jan. 1, 1941, in Green Bay, Wis., to Edward and Jean (Martin) Lefebvre. He arrived minutes after midnight and was the New Year’s Baby. Steve grew up in De Pere, Wis., graduating from St. Francis Grade School and St. Norbert High School before entering the Norbertine Order. He was a serious and reflective young man. Like many of his generation, he ultimately left the Order to pursue a different path. His considerable talent found many homes, all within the paper industry. Through the years, he held leadership in several companies, among them Fort Howard; Little Rapids Corporation/Green Bay Tissue Mill and; most notably, as the first President in America for the Swedish-based company Duni Bila AB. Throughout his professional life, he recruited and mentored many young people. He was noted for his generosity of spirit, his intellect and his humor. He was a wonderful storyteller, especially when recollecting his boyhood and all the characters who passed through Kraemer’s Drug Store, where he worked in his youth. Steve constantly traveled and, whenever possible, by train. He was a passenger on the last run of the historic 20th Century Limited and rode the entire routes of the Orient Express and the Trans-Siberian Railway. He loved Rome and twilight in Venice. He made many pilgrimages to the great cathedrals and abbeys of Europe. His was a life of depth and resonance, of deeply felt emotions. He will be remembered as a great friend and as a loving and devoted son.He is survived by his mother; a brother Mark (Marian), Madison; a sister, Julie (Robert) Mirsberger, New Orleans, La.; and many nieces and nephews, in particular, Elizabeth and Daniel Lefebvre. He is also survived by many Lefebvre cousins and one maternal cousin, Jim Delaney.Steve was preceded in death by his father and two nephews, Steven and Joseph Mirsberger.At Steve’s earlier request, there will be no funeral. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, April 9, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Allouez Cemetery. BOYER, Ruth (nee McBride) - Peacefully at Carefree Lodge in North York on Sunday, April 3, 2005 in her 87th year. Lovingly remembered by her sister Lois Bertram (Russell) of Thornhill, her brother Stan McBride (Berta) of Peterborough and the late Howard McBride (Jean). She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, Vicki, Cindy, Tina and Susan and her nephew Stanley, the late Grant and 8 great nieces and nephews. Ruth was proud to be the first woman lifeguard in Ontario. She was active in promoting opera by sitting on the Presidents Council for the Canadian Opera Company. She was a proud member of the World Federalists, an extension of the U.N., and the Monarchist League of Canada. Ruth was also a life member of the Royal Life Saving Society of Canada and a member of the United Empire Loyalists. Ruth's fondness for art was expressed through her many paintings. She was also an ardent fan of the National Ballet of Canada. At her request, funeral arrangements are private. Followed by cremation. Ordained priest in 1946; Professor of Theology at Catholic University of Lublin 1956-78; Auxiliary Bishop of Krakow 1958-63; Archbishop and Metropolitan of Krakow 1964-78; named a Cardinal in 1967. Elected Pope 1978, taking the name John Paul II. Died in Rome on April 2, 2005.
