BOUDREAU, Donald J., 71, of Sebring, passed away Friday, March 25, 2005 at his home. He was born March 16, 1934 to Edward and Lucille (Kazmierczak) Boudreau in South Bend, Ind. and had been a resident of Sebring since 2002, coming from Philo, Ill. He was Chief Electronic Supervisor for the Federal Aviation Administration and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Avon Park. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patsy A. (Murray) Boudreau of Sebring; son, Michael Boudreau of Thomasboro, Ill.; daughters, Linda Hollenbeck of Chandler, Ariz., Diane Bunn of Streator, Ill., Kathy Erickson and Sherry Heiser, both of Philo, Ill.; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. BLANCHETTE, THOMAS A., 57, resident of Willington Rd., Pawtucket, RI. died on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket, RI. Husband of Jane (Bouley) Blanchette. He was born September 3, 1947 in Pawtucket RI. Son of Rolland Blanchette of Pawtucket, and the late Irene (Luttrell) Blanchette.A self-employed attorney, in Pawtucket, for 30 years. A lifelong Pawtucket resident. A graduate of the following; Brown University in Providence RI. and the George Washington University of Law School in Washington DC. He was an assistant Scout Leader for Troop #18 in Pawtucket. A former sponsor and coach for the Pawtucket Youth Soccer Association.Survivors include his Son; Daniel Blanchette of Pawtucket, R.I., Brothers; Stephen Blanchette of Seekonk, MA., Jospeh Blanchette of North Scituate, R.I., Michael Blanchette of North Reading, MA., Vincent Blanchette of Pawtucket, R.I, Sisters; Joan Dunn of Pawtucket, R.I., Teresa Auclair of Pawtucket, R.I., and Mary Dingley of Smithfield, R.I.A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church Coyle Dr., Seekonk, MA. BISSONNETTE, Lionel S. Jr., 74,of Zephyrhills, passed away Monday, March 28, 2005, at his daughter's home, with the gentle care of Hospice. He was born in Claremont, N.H., and came here 22 years ago from Ludlow, Vt. Lionel was a plumber. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gail (Hoadley). Survivors include three sons, Michael K., Kevin D. and Thomas G.; two daughters, Colleen B. Walbridge and Dian C. Suzanne Knox, 59, of Auburn, died March 29, 2005, at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester.Mrs. Knox was born in Easton, Pa., on Dec. 20, 1945, a daughter of Kathryn (Brong) Bertolet and the late William Bertolet. She was a graduate of Delaware University and taught school in Dover, Del. She married Captain Bruce Knox and had three children. They lived in Dover, Del., Ramey Air Force Base in Puerto Rico and Hancock Field, Syracuse, N.Y. She moved to Auburn in 1976. In addition to her work with the Cub Scouts, she taught school at the Auburn School and was a Sunday School superintendent at the Longmeadow Congregational Church in Auburn. For the past 15 years, she had been volunteering and working in the Miss Derry and Miss New Hampshire Scholarship pageants as the co-director.She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Bruce Knox of Auburn; one son, Stephen Knox of Lodi, N.J.; one daughter, Kristen Collins of Colchester, Conn.; three grandchildren; her mother, Kathryn Bertolet and her brother, William Bertolet, both of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Brian Knox in 1990.There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service will be Saturday, April 2, at 2 p.m. at Longmeadow Congregational Church, corner of Route 121 and Wilson Crossing, Auburn. LANESBORO -- Claire Massaconi, 55, of 38 Victoria Lane died yesterday morning at Baystate Medical Center after a long illness. Born in Chicopee on Jan. 28, 1950, daughter of Loretta Ablicki Asselin and the late Robert Asselin, she was a 1968 graduate of Cathedral High School in Springfield. She earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from the former North Adams State College, now Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, in 1972. She also earned a master's degree in reading from American International College. A teacher, Mrs. Massaconi had been employed by the Pittsfield Public School system for 28 years, retiring in 2001 because of ill health. She first taught in Follow Through in 1972 and then taught at Conte Community School, formerly West Side Community. Following her retirement, she worked part-time at the Community Corrections Center, and taught computers at St. Mark Middle School, Sacred Heart Elementary School and Morningside Community School. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, where she organized and ran the food pantry and the church store. She was also an active participant in the Relay for Life, the Lanesboro Scholarship and after-school tutoring. She and her husband, Mark Massaconi, celebrated their 28th anniversary on Feb. 19. Besides her mother, of Chicopee, and her husband, she leaves triplet sons, Marcus Massaconi, a student at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Joshua Massaconi, a student at Siena College in Loudonville, N.Y., and Trevor Massaconi, a student at Seton Hall College in South Orange, N.J., and a sister, Ruth DeStrump of Chicopee. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Claire Asselin Massaconi, age 55, was called safely home on March 31, 2005. The funeral will be Saturday at 9 with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated by the Rev. Michael Shershanovich, pastor. Entombment will take place at a later date in St. Michael the Archangel Mausoleum in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In keeping with Claire's wishes, there will be no public calling hours. SISTER BERNARDINE MURPHY C.S.J. Sister Bernardine passed away peacefully on March 28, 2005 in her 100th year. She was in the 79th year of her religious life as a Sister of St. Joseph. Left to mourn her loss and also to celebrate her wonderful life among us are her Sisters in the Congregation, many loving nieces and nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins. We fondly remember our Sister Bernardine as one of our pioneers in our western missions. Numerous Sisters, in their younger years, benefited from Sister Bernardine's exceptional training and guidance. Sister served as a dietition locally in Barry's Bay, Mount St. Patrick, Pembroke and Killaloe; in the West in Saskatchewan (Radville and Regina), and Alberta (Barrhead and Edmonton). Norma Bryden PORT ELGIN, NB - The death of Norma Bryden, age 83, of Westford Nursing Home, Port Elgin, and formerly of Sackville, occurred suddenly at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Thursday, March 31, 2005. Born in Richardson, SK, she was a daughter of the late Avard and Elizabeth (Bowen) McElmon. Norma was a hairdresser for 40 years, having studied in Montreal. Following her retirement she lived with her daughter in various Canadian centres. She returned to Sackville in 2002. Norma will be sadly missed by three sons, Robert (Louise), and Creighton, both of Ottawa, Michael (Patti), Sackville; a daughter, Rev. Jean Bryden, Portage La Prairie, MN; six grandchildren and one great grandchild; a brother, Jack (Marjorie) McElmon, Halifax. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert in 1960 and by sisters, Jean and Gwen. Connie served 22 years in the Military, Black Watch and RCR and later 18 years at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in SPD. He was a wonderful father to his children, Survived by three sons, Wayne, Greg and Brian; five daughters, Marg Smith, Patsy Good, Connie Donovan, Barb Gardiner and Tanya Gardiner; two sisters, Rita and Dolly; fourteen grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
