CAMPBELL, Calvin Delor In loving memory of Calvin Delor Campbell, May 12, 1933 - March 26, 2005. Calvin Campbell a resident of Sudbury died at his home on Saturday, March 26, 2005 at the age of 71 years. He was born in Gore Bay, son of the late Colin and Hilda (Bailey) Campbell. Calvin worked for the Manitoulin District Hydro and then 30 years as a heavy equipment operator for the Ministry of Transportation and also as a mechanic and enjoyed construction and building. He was a volunteer for the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the John Howard Society and a member of the Lions Club. Calvin was a devoted Maple Leaf's fan and coached baseball and ringette. He was a companion to Monique Gauthier. Loving and loved father of Robert (Lorna) of Brampton, Brenda (Kevin) Johnstone of Stratford, Kathy (Perry) Kayes of Sudbury, Patsy (Dave) Lindsay of Sudbury, Tom (Connie) of Val Caron. Former husband of Jean Marlene White. Proud grandpa of Angela (Scott), John (Barbie), Cynthia, Cassandra, Michael, McKenna, Shannon (Paul) and Stephanie (David). Great grandpa of Keanan, Aiden and Liam. Dear brother of Hazel Lanktree of Providence Bay. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends. AYLSWORTH, Glena Milward On Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at St. Lawrence Lodge, Brockville in her 100th year. Born in Burlington, VT on March 6, 1906 she was the daughter of the Andrew Benjamin Aylsworth and Jennie Agnes Rutherford. Due to the death of he r mother, she went to live and work for Mr. and Mrs. Austin M. Fraser of Odessa, Ontario and has remained a beloved member of the Fraser and Carr families. Gertrude "Trudy" Doyle Funeral arrangements by Gordon F Tompkins Funeral Homes (Central Chapel) CANADIAN ARTIST TRUDY DOYLE Canadian landscape and seascape artist Trudy Doyle, 82, of Seeley's Bay and Gananoque, Ont., died March 27, 2005 at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital, Kingston, Ont., of natural causes. Born Gertrude Shorter in Coventry, England, she moved to Canada in 1951, with her husband James Bernard Doyle, 80, who transferred from the Royal Navy to the Royal Canadian Navy after the Second World War. Trudy won the first of her several art scholarships at the age of 12, studying in Britain under Royal Academicians Walter Ashworth and Victor Candey. She twice won the U.K.'s Sir Thomas White award for artistic excellence. She was also an opera lover and a cellist. Coventry, in the UK's industrial Midlands, was routinely carpet-bombed by German forces during the Second World War and her father, the late Stephen Shorter, a flier in the First World War and a Home Guard member during the second, built his family a self-contained bomb shelter in their back yard, under a fish and turtle pond. Trudy was seconded to the UK defence design bureau during the war and would regularly walk to that job from the home, or the bomb shelter. "You would go to work and rows of buildings that had been there the day before were gone," she recalled more than once. Her family had briefly lived in Alberta between the two world wars and she had studied at the same Alberta grade school as her future husband, although she was a year ahead of him and never recalled meeting him at school. What they had in common was a teaching nun named Sister Fostina, who gave Jim Doyle Trudy's address when she heard that he was shipping out to join the Royal Navy in 1939, at the age of 15, being underage for Canadian forces. Jim Doyle looked up Trudy Shorter when he was granted shore leave and they corresponded throughout the war, marrying soon after it was over at a time when Trudy had started a career as a jewelry designer. She designed her own wedding and engagement ring set, among other works. New to Nova Scotia, Trudy became enthralled by the seascapes and picturesque fishing villages, which were a sharp contrast to her home country. The rugged atmosphere inspired her to pursue her renewed interest in oil painting. She developed a particular lively style of her own, using palette knives to apply the oil paint to canvas or board. At the same time, she started a family, raising six children, all born within a ten-year period. Without really planning it, she emerged a precursor to the modern career-track mother, not simply painting and raising a family simultaneously, but often handling all the logistics when her husband was away at sea with the fleet. Thus, a car loaded with six infants or young children, driven by a mother for the purpose of simply picking up groceries was a frequent sight around Halifax. When her husband retired from the Canadian Navy in the early 1960s, he became a journalist, first for the Canadian Press wire service in Halifax, then the Kingston Whig Standard, and later news editor of the Catholic Register, (then known as the Canadian Register). The family set up a home between Gananoque and Kingston On Highway 2 and Trudy began to paint Ontario and Atlantic Canada scenes, exhibiting at her home's art gallery. Her wide range included various paintings of historic limestone buildings and scenes in Kingston, bridges and ponds in Gananoque, the Thousand Islands Bridge, and scenes from Ottawa and the Ottawa Valley. One of her favorite paintings, showing the Parliament Buildings from a frozen Rideau Canal, hung for years at the Canadian Embassy in the Washington, DC. Her works were regularly exhibited at Studio Coleen on the Sparks St. Mall in Ottawa and at Rye Cove Galleries, Tantallon, N.S. Others entered private collections across the country and around the world. She has had numerous solo exhibitions in Canadian cities as well as York, Coventry, Plymouth and Stratford-upon-Avon in the UK. Certain oil paintings were reproduced as limited edition, numbered prints, which attracted an international following. She was awarded a special commission to create an oil painting for presentation to Princess Anne by Canadian Forces during the princess's 1979 visit to Canada. The painting, entitled "Kingston" now forms part of the Royal Collection in Britain. She is survived by her husband James, of Kingston, now retired from managing the art gallery, and her children David, 42, and Stephen, 45, of Edmonton, owners of a printing and graphics business, Mark, 44, of Toronto, an institutional investment advisor, Anne Doyle-Leverton, 48, of Vancouver and Whitehorse, an artist, Mary Doyle-Seymour, 50, of Ottawa, an artist. By Mary and her husband Paul Seymour, she is survived by grandchildren Vincent, 19, and Theresa, 17, also of Ottawa. She is survived by son Michael, 52 of New York and Southampton, NY, a lawyer, and grandchild Sean Michael, 3 months old, by his wife Magda de Carvalho. Trudy is also survived by grandson Michael Doyle, Jr., 33, of Ottawa and Odessa, Ont., by her son Michael and Darlene Novosad of Kingston. By Michael Doyle, Jr. and his wife Tammy, she is survived by great-grandchildren, Michael, 12, Josh, 10, Chantal, 5, and Tyler, 3. Landry, Lt. Col. Edward Blaise (U.S. Air Force, retired) A resident of Zachary, he died at 6 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2005, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center of unexpected cardiac arrest. He was 74, born Feb. 4, 1931, in Peru, where his father was employed by the International Petroleum Co. He was a graduate of St. Stanislaus in Bay St. Louis, Miss. He graduated from LSU with a degree in civil engineering and a commission in the U.S. Air Force in 1953, having served for 25 years. He was a command pilot and recipient of numerous medals and honors, including the Distinguished Flying Cross, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award and Meritorious Service Medal. Upon his retirement from the Air Force, he was director of plant operations at the Franklin United Methodist Home in Franklin, Ind. From 1982 to 1994, he was employed as director of utilities for the city of Zachary and continued to volunteer his time to, and share his expertise and knowledge with, the city as chairman of Planning and Zoning after his retirement. His depth of understanding, patience, generosity and love of family and country will be greatly missed. DRACUT -- Albert J. Boucher, 79, a longtime Dracut resident who was formerly of Lowell, died Saturday, March 26, at Lowell General Hospital. He was the husband of Pierrette (Joyal) Boucher, who died March 12.He was born in Dracut, on Aug. 9, 1925, son of the late Nestor and Angeline (Plourde) Boucher.An honorably discharged veteran, Mr. Boucher served in the Army during World War II as a sergeant for the 2nd Battalion Parachute Infantry.Before retiring, he was employed for 32 years as a grinding technician with W.H. Bagshaw Co. in Nashua.He was a communicant of St. Marguerite D'Youville Parish in Dracut. She was married to Charles Jurcik for over 55 years. He predeceased her in 1999. They made their lives in earlier years as dairy farmers and raised two sets of twins. Mrs. Jurcik was a seamstress for several bridal shops in the area. SHYMINSKY, Joseph In loving memory of Joseph Shyminsky, in his 83rd year, who passed away Tuesday, March 29th, 2005 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph's Health Centre. Born in Shoal Lake, Manitoba, at a very early age, he moved to Petlura, Manitoba where he attended school and farmed until 1957, when he married. Joseph and Carol then moved to Sudbury where he worked for INCO until his retirement in 1985. A resident of Val Caron for 41 years, Joe shared his love and knowledge of hunting, fishing and camping with his family. The master of all trades, Joe was the family handyman for his wife, 3 sons and six grandchildren. He contributed to the community as a coach and through his support of the Cubs and Boy Scouts on the Val Caron area. In later years, Joe enjoyed following the sporting events of his grandsons. He truly cherished every minute of life with his family and friends. He has left an imprint on all who knew him. Loving husband for 47 years to Carol Shyminsky (Kempinski). CHEBOYGAN - Grace M Vizina, 74, of Afton, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2005, at Cheboygan Memorial Hospital.Grace was born April 25, 1930, in Cheboygan, the daughter of Floyd and Leona (Vieu) Fleury. She grew up in Cheboygan and attended St. Mary's Catholic School. She graduated from Cheboygan High School in 1949 and then attended Cheboygan County Normal. On April 29, 1950, she married Duane H. Vizina at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cheboygan. The couple moved to the Flint area, where they lived until 1969, when they moved to Afton. For several years Grace worked at the Cross in the Woods gift shop in Indian River. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and visiting casinos.She was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church.Grace is survived by her husband, Duane; her children, Gary (Fay) Vizina of Indian River, Sherrie (Ernie) Parrot of Mt. Home, Idaho and Dan (Kristine) Vizina of Afton; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Genevieve Fleury of Venice, Fla.; and a brother, Bill Fleury of Big Rapids, Mich. Besides her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her son Brad in 1988.Visitation will take place from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2005, at the Lintz Funeral Home in Indian River. A Scripture service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday. Mass of the resurrection will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 1, 2005, at St. Monica's Catholic Church in Afton. The Rev. GUIDRY, Clyde E. - Age 82, died at his home in Mountain View, March 28, 2005. Clyde was born May 31, 1922 in San Francisco. Clyde and Francis (deceased) Guidry were married for 49 years. In his passing Clyde leaves behind his nine children: Dona (Bud) Rogers, Carol (Don) Funsch, Michele Gregory, Clyde M. (Wendy) Guidry, David (Laurie) Guidry, Michael Guidry, Matthew (Debbie) Guidry, Kathleen (Ignacio) Cantu, Mary-Jo (David) Okawa. Also left behind were 29 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and his brother Barney Guidry. Clyde attended Commerce High School in San Francisco. He fought in the South Pacific in the Army during World War II and was awarded a Purple Heart. He moved to Mountain View with his wife and first four children in 1954. He was a very active member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church community for over 20 years, until the family moved to Cupertino in 1977. Clyde was a general contractor and a highly respected member of the construction community for over 40 years. He was a member of the Palo Alto Elks Club, the Knights of Columbus and the SIRS. Clyde loved his weekly game of Pinochle with friends Carmello, Joe and Emio. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed travel, great food, and spending time with friends and family. He will be greatly missed. Visitations will begin on Thurs., March 31, 2005 at 5pm, with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. at Cusimano Family Colonial Mortuary, 96 El Camino Real W., Mtn. View. A Funeral Mass will be said on Fri. Marie A. Drouin, 93, of Bristol, widow of Joseph Drouin, died on Friday, (March 11, 2005) at Bristol Hospital. Mrs. Drouin was born on December 8, 1911 in Victoriaville, Canada, a daughter of the late Armand and Anna (Cloutier) LaFontaine. Marie, a member of St. Matthew Church, retired from A&P Tea Co. in 1970 after working there for 29 years. She is survived by her four daughters and a son-in-law, Jeanine Barrett and Marie Malley both of Farmington, Fern Kornichuk of Forestville and Marcelle and John Wynne of Wolcott; a sister in Canada; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grand-children; a great-great grandson; a special god-daughter, Renee Quinn of California and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 2, at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Church, Forestville. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Gisele Marie Lavoie Daggett -- Died quickly on March 26, 2005 in Tucson, AZ. She was born in Lawrence, MA in 1913, one of 13 children. She was raised in Cambridge, MA where she met and married James N. Daggett. The family moved to Tucson in 1947 for the health of the children. She resided in the home they built in 1947 until her death. Her husband, James Daggett, preceded her in death. She is survived by brother, Frank Lavoie of Pelham, NH and sister, Therese Lavoie Cirone of Chelsea, MA; her children, Susan M. Black (Bill) of Tucson, James N. Daggett, Jr. (Liz) of Mesa, AZ and John S. Daggett (Andrea) of TX; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Her life centered on her family and their activities. Her favorite conversations were their activities and either they or their photos were almost constantly in her view. She also played music so well that it inspired others to study and play it. Although her eyesight declined, she continued to read and listen to literature. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish for many years but now attended the Newman Center with her daughter. She was a member of the Sagebrush Homemakers Club. She will be greatly missed. A viewing will be at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd., Tucson, AZ, 85712 on Wednesday, March 30, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A celebration of her life will occur at noon on Thursday, March 31 at St. Cyril's Church, 4725 E. Richard Charles Levesque -- January 22, 1972 - March 26, 2005 -- MOOSUP - Richard Charles Levesque, 33, of Melville, New Jersey, formerly of Moosup, Connecticut, died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, March 26th.Mr. Levesque was born on January 22, 1972 in Norwich, Connecticut. WEBSTER— Joseph A. Mailloux, Sr., age 76, of 78 Douglas Rd., died on Mon. March 28, 2005 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester, surrounded by his children and grandchildren, from injuries sustained after being struck by a car. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Irene (Nowiki) Mailloux; his children: Jean K. Aniszewski and her husband William, Donna L. Miglionico, Kenneth J. Mailloux and his wife Maria, Linda S. Latour and her husband Ronald, Tammy A. Mailloux, Joseph A. Mailloux, Jr. and his wife Tessa; his sister, Teresa Graves and her husband Arthur; 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. His son, Paul E. Mailloux predeceased him in 1995. He was born in Thompson, CT, son of the late Azarie and Rosalie (Pruneau) Mailloux. He was a US Navy veteran, serving in WWII. He was a Captain of Hose 1 Webster Volunteer Fire Dept. for many years. He was founder of the Webster Ambulance Squadron. He served as Selectman for the Town of Webster from 1971-1975. He founded, owned and operated Joseph A. Mailloux Painting Contractors in 1955. Joe loved his family and he loved walking. He was a familiar figure walking on Rt. 16 for many years. He will be truly missed by his family and friends who loved him. The funeral will be held Fri., April 1, 2005 from the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Louis Church. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. A calling hour will be held Fri., 8:30 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. His family requests ommission of flowers; donations may be made to the St. Louis Endowmment Fund or the American Heart Association.

Barry received his nursing degree from Nicholls State University and was employed as a registered nurse at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center prior to his illness. He also received a B.A. in Social Studies Education from Nicholls. He served for 6 years in the U.S. Navy and 24 years in the LA Army National Guard until his retirement. He was a Vietnam Era Veteran as well as a Persian Gulf War Veteran who served in Operation Desert Storm with the former 159th MASH National Guard Unit from Jackson Barracks. He was a member of the VFW Post No. 05097, American Legion Post 0011, Protector Fire Company No. 2, LA State Fireman's Association, Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity, and the Single Action Shooting Society. NOEL, MR. LEON PAUL Norton Shores Mr. Leon Paul Noel, age 87, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2005 at his home in Norton Shores surrounded by his loving family. Leon was born on January 31, 1918 to George and Antonia Noel. He attended and graduated from St. Jean the Baptiste School. Leon served in the US Army Medical Corp during WWII and was stationed in the Phillippines. He joined his father in the home construction business and was a highly respected building contractor. He was involved in the Muskegon Elks, The Contractors Association, Muskegon Township Planning Commission and was giving of his time for the Christmas Elks Baskets. Mr. Noel was an active member of St. Francis deSales Church and was very involved in the building committee during the building of the church. He was a very loving father and well respected in the community with many, many friends. Leon will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Leon is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, the former Donna Hanson; 2 sons, David (Julie) Noel and Jim Noel, both of Norton Shores; 2 daughters, Mary Teasley of Ferrysburg and Roberta 'Bobbee' Noel of Norton Shores; 5 grandchildren, Nicole, Matthew, Joseph, Kristy and Andrew; 1 great-grandchild, his namesake, Noelle Marie. FRANK "HAWK" SAUCIER, after courageously fighting his battle with lung cancer, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2005. He was born in Gulfport, Mississippi on July 6, 1945. Frank was a lifetime member of the Houston Farm and Ranch Club and a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo serving as a committeeman for 15 years on Corral Club At Large and VIP Transportation committees. He was also an avid participant in the Houston Rodeo Trail Rides and was a past member and board member of the Harris County Sheriff's Mounted Posse. He is survived by his wife Judy Saucier; son Michael, daughter Trisia and sisters LaMerle, Gloria and Sue, as well as other family members and many friends. A memorial service remembering Frank will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 31, 2005 at the Klien Funeral Home Chapel in Tomball, Deacon Ted Heap officiating. PITTSFIELD -- Mary M. Decelles, 97, formerly of Churchill Crest, died Monday afternoon at Hillcrest Commons, where she had resided since May 2003. Born in Pittsfield on May 3, 1907, daughter of Thomas J. and Margaret M. Coffey Drumm, she was a 1925 graduate of Pittsfield High School. Mrs. Decelles had been employed as a secretary by the New England Telephone Co. for 48 years, retiring in 1972. She was a communicant of the former Notre Dame Church and a former member of the New England Telephone Pioneers. She enjoyed music. Her husband, Horace C. Decelles, whom she married March 17, 1983, in Notre Dame Church, died May 23, 2004. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mary M. Decelles, who died March 28, 2005, will be celebrated tomorrow, March 30, at 9 at St. Joseph's Church by the Rev. Michael A. Shershanovich, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
