M. Winifred Donahue Margaret Winifred Donahue, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, March 28, 2005. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Timothy and Mary (Kelly) Donahue. Winnie enjoyed a career of over fifty years with the T. Eaton Co., and represented the Atlantic Provinces as Eaton's Centennial employee in 1967. She was a member of St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church and the T. Eaton Quarter Century Club. She is survived by her sister, Mary Cameron; brother-in-law, Ralph Fahey; and sister-in-law, Irene Donahue, all of Moncton; nieces, Doreen Hamilton, Sharon Fahey, Wanda Garland, and Linda Fahey; nephews, James Fahey, and Gary Fahey; and by several cousins. She was predeceased by one brother, James Donahue; and by sisters, Alice Steeves and her husband Alan, Greta Fahey and her husband Harry, and Florence Fahey; and by a brother-in-law, James Cameron. Visitation will be at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Lutz St. Moncton on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, March 31, 2005 at 1:00 pm with Father Phil Mulligan officiating. Parish prayers will be held at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home on Wednesday evening at 8:30 pm. Interment will be in St. Lawrence O'Toole Roman Catholic Cemetery, Irishtown, NB in the spring. CORNFIELD, MARGARET I. - It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our cherished mother, grandmother and great grandmother Margaret "Bella" Isabel (Sandford) Cornfield on Sunday March 27, 2005 at the age of 79. Loving wife of the late W. James A. Cornfield who passed away in 2003. Margaret was born in Porterdown, Ireland, a daughter of the late John and S. Margaret (Gillis) Sandford. Margaret was a member of Saint George's Anglican Church. Margaret is survived by daughters; Patricia Cosman (Michael) and Joanne Park (John) both of Saint John, grandchildren Marc (Kathy) Mullin of Sussex, Brent (Karen) Mullin of Norton, Shawn McLaughlin of Saint John, Robert Cosman of Cayman Islands and Melissa Park and Joshua Park (Jennifer) of Saint John, three great grandchildren John "Jacob", Anthony "James" and Branden "Joel" Mullin all of Sussex, sister Ella McLaughlin of Cassidy Lake and brother Nathaniel Sanford of Alma and several nieces and nephews. GALBRAITH, EUGENE A. - The death of Eugene Arthur Galbraith, husband of Joan Marie (Wilson) Galbraith wife of 52 years, occurred on Sunday, March 27, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on November 8, 1929 in Saint John, NB he was a son of the late Robert and Blanche (Maguire) Galbraith. Eugene was employed with Galbraith Construction and the City of Saint John as a heavy equipment mechanic. He was a member of Lorneville United Church, Lorneville over 55 Club, Mount Purple Lodge # 29, Royal Black Percepitory # 62. Survived by his wife; three sons, Daryl (Marilyn) of Saint John, Grant (Anne) of Dartmouth and Robert (Susan) of Saint John; three daughters, Andrea (Donald) Webb, Georgia (Raymond) Grant and Leslie (Daniel) Ferris, all of Saint John; one brother, R. Lloyd of Saint John; one sister, Marjorie Pierce of ON; fourteen grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; sister-in-law Dorothy of U.S.A.; brother-in-law Ralph (Shirley) Wilson; several nieces and nephews. GARDNER, MARIE - 81 Kentville, NS, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2005 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, surrounded by her family. Born in Havelock, N.B., she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Lena (Keith) Keith. Marie was a member of the New Minas Baptist Church and the Gideons Ladies Auxiliary, Kentville Camp. Marie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who showed kindness to everyone she met. Surviving is her loving husband of 53 years, Rev. NICKERSON (EISENER), WENDY RUTH - 35, Clyde River, passed away at 7:30 a.m. March 26, 2005, in the VG Site, QEII, in Halifax. Born in Fredericton, N.B., on January 22, 1970, she was the daughter of George and the late Gwen (Moran) Nickerson of Clyde River, and daughter in-law of Barbara and the late Lorie Eisener of Italy Cross. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Brian Eisener; sisters, Laurel (Jamieson), Janice (Sarginson), Sheila (Wiltzen), Kerry (Faye); brothers, Bradford, Clive, Garth and Duane. Wendy was a teacher and guidance counselor at Barrington High School for eight years. She loved a variety of activities in her life, including church, traveling, hiking, biking and canoeing. Wendy enjoyed most of all, sharing her time with children, many nieces and nephews and the students at school. Wendy impacted many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, in Huskilson's Funeral Home, Shelburne. PARCHELLO, HELEN - The death of Helen Parchello of Hampton, husband of William Parchello occurred March 27, 2005 at University of Massachusetts Hospital. She was born at Prince Rupert, B.C. daughter of the late Walter and Helen (Carter) Hume. She was a registered nurse at the Saint John General Hospital and Regional Hospital retiring in 1982. Helen was an active volunteer with Hospice, Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Dr. V.A. Snow Centre, Hampton. She was a member of the Hampton Community Club where she was head volunteer at the Vivian Myles Community Library, Hampton Curling Club, Hampton Golf Club and was a former Rules Representative of the N.B. Ladies Golf Association. Surviving besides her husband William are two daughters Deborah Katz (Herbert) of Winnipeg, Patricia Reid (Andrew) of England; two sons, William Reid of Montreal, Bruce Reid (Karen) of Australia; one stepson Gregory Parchello (Josephine) of Columbus, Mississippi; one stepdaughter Jane Lutes (Robert) of Wolfville, N.S. and several grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers James and Frank Hume. There will be no visitation by request. A service will be held at a later date. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed painting, crafts, traveling and helping others. SOMERSWORTH — Leo J. Bisson, 85, formerly of Kings Lane, died Sunday, March 27, 2005, at the Rochester Manor following a period of failing health. Born in Somersworth, April 14, 1919, he was the son of Adolphe and Lea (Couture) Bisson. He was educated in Somersworth schools. During World War II he was the first of five brothers to leave for the service on March 31, 1941, and the last to return home after the war on Dec. 22, 1945. He spent most of his life working in area shoe shops. He loved music, he learned to play the accordion and the harmonica by himself. When he was younger and lived at home, during his lunch hour every noon he would go up to his room and practice on the accordion for at least 20 to 30 minutes. On WTSN he was known as “Leo the one man band.” He would call Don Briand on the eve of every holiday and entertain the many listeners with his own rendition of appropriate tunes by playing both the harmonica and accordion at once. He spent the last two years at the Rochester Manor after a severe stroke. He was loved by everyone and made it his “home” and enjoyed living there. He was loved and respected by all his nieces and nephews who looked up to him and they would do anything for “Uncle Leo.” He es-pecially enjoyed entertaining the children. He was predeceased by four brothers, Raymond in 1963, Adelard in 1979, Jules in 1987 and Joseph in 1994. Survivors include four brothers, Maurice Bisson of Somersworth, Fr. Roger Bisson, a White Father Missionary of St. Petersburg, Fla., Paul Bisson of Tampa, Fla., David Bisson of The Villages, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Arnold (Helen) Houde of Somersworth; a sister-in-law, Pauline Bisson; and nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Roberge Fu-neral Home, 298 High St., Somersworth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Martin Church. LOWELL -- Carol Ann (Braverman) Tessier, 56, a resident of Lowell, died Saturday, March 26, at a local nursing home following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Harry Tessier.She was born in Chelsea, on Oct. 13, 1948, daughter of the late Philip and Rose (Cooper) Braverman. She received her education in Chelsea schools and graduated from Chelsea High School.She had been employed as a cashier and later as a clerk at the delicatessen, at Sun Foods. More recently, she had worked at the Market Baskets on Wood Street and Stadium Plaza.She enjoyed spending time at the beach in Hampton, N.H. and Salisbury. She also like to color and do crossword puzzles.Her survivors include three daughters and a son-in-law, Sherrie (Grondin) Rivera and her husband, Jose, Michelle Grondin, and Jennifer Grondin and her companion, Kirk Batstone, all of Lowell; 11 grandchildren, Kerri Friant, Amanda Friant, Justin Grondin, James Dumont, Alexe Lombardi, and Destiny Rivera, Miguel Rivera, Mindy Rivera, Alexsandra Rivera, Raquel Rivera, and Sylvia Rivera all of Lowell; and her best friend, Judith Wilsie. AUBURN -- Arlene M. (Dionne) Carroll, a resident of Auburn and formerly of Westford and Littleton, died Sunday, March 27, of cancer at her home. She was the wife of the J. Les Carroll, to whom she was married for 42 years.She grew up in Lynn and graduated from Lynn High School.Mrs. Carroll worked most of her career as an administrative assistant.Most recently, she worked full-time in ministry with her husband under The New Life Inc., traveling the United States preaching in churches, home groups, retreats and prisons.In the '70s and '80s they lived in Westford and Littleton, where she was involved in 4-H, teaching Sunday school and square dancing. He has been active with many organizations since his youth, serving as an altar boy at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, and being a member of the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts Pack 465.Johnny was also active in sports and many outdoor activities. As a child, he played peewee football with the Cowboys and played football all throughout his Middle, Jr. High and High School years. He made all District and All State in his senior year at New Iberia Senior High (of which he was a 1978 graduate) and received a scholarship to play football with Nicholls State University. Besides football, he was an avid fisherman having fished the Iberia Rod and Gun Club Rodeo and the KC Rodeo on the Capt. Will and Voodoo Queen winning many trophies and plaques, and riding his Harley with his many friends and family.He is survived by his former wife, Jenny Segura Dore'; a daughter, Jamie Lynn Dore' and friend Rob Neilson; a granddaughter, Makayla Syndey Neilson; parents, Wilbert J. and Cordry Campbell Dore'; a sister, Gail Dore' Boutin and husband Randall all of New Iberia; nephew, Randall "Flip" Boutin II and wife Christy and two great-nephews, Gage and Evan Boutin all of Delcambre.Mr. Dore' was preceded in death by his grandparents, Amedee and Evie Delahoussaye Campbell and Cleus L. and Lucille Meaux Dore and an uncle, Wilton L. Elizabeth Rose “Betty” LeBreck, 82, Oconto, was born to eternal rest on Friday, March 25, 2005, following a brief illness. Betty was born on Oct. 16, 1922, in Oconto to the late William and Rose (LaComte) Mineau. Betty married Paul LeBreck on Sept. 16, 1944, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Oconto. Paul preceded her in death on June 24, 1995. They farmed in the town of Oconto for several years and moved to the city of Oconto in 1967. Betty was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish in Oconto. She was a wonderful mother to her 12 children, always putting their needs above everything else. She loved each of her grandchildren unconditionally and was “everybody’s Mom/Grandma.” Betty was an avid Packer fan, a staunch Democrat and she loved her plants and flowers.Betty is survived by one son, Paul Jr. (Theresa), Oconto; nine daughters, Judy (Ray Maas) Elliot, Appleton; Dona LeBreck, De Pere; Diane (Mike) Zeitler, Pound; Kathy (Doug) Durand, Rose (Les) Stellmacher, Patsy (Mike) Bake, Sue (Mike) Shew, Theresa Hyland and Carol (Jeff) Stewart, all of Oconto. She is further survived by 23 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She delighted in raising her family and entertaining friends in the various places that she and her husband made their home.She was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters.Jo is survived by her husband, Keith Ruff of Winthrop; a son, Kevin Ruff and his wife Miriam of Englewood, Fla.; daughters, Rebecca Ruff of Englewood, Fla., Kathleen Turmelle and her husband Tim of Manchester, Jennifer St. Hilaire and her husband David of Winthrop, Andrea Locklear and her husband Brandon of Greenville, N.C., and Suzanne Rice and her husband Jesse of East Winthrop; and 11 grandchildren, Rachel Ruff, Kristine Prosser, Paige Wood, Renee, Davy, and Luke St. Hilaire, Drew, Jake, and Jenna Locklear, and Abbigale and Mattilda Rice.

PAUL J. PREGENT -- BURLINGTON — Paul J. Pregent, 87, died peacefully Sunday, March 27, 2005, at his home following a long illness. He was born Oct. 15, 1918, in Montreal, Canada, the son of Thomas and Aurora (LeBlanc) Pregent. Paul served in the U.S. Air Force as a Captain on the B29 during World War II. He worked for many years as a research and development engineer for various manufacturing companies in New England. Paul served as a Boy Scout leader for many years. Paul loved the outdoors. He was an expert marksman and loved hunting, fishing, and boating. He took great pleasure in spending time with the neighborhood boys, teaching them hunting, fishing and boating. He also enjoyed taking them on boat trips to Canada. He is survived by his wife, Joyce, of 28 years; his two children, Michael and his wife Donna of LaJolla, Calif, and Michele Pregent of Cape Cod, Mass.; two stepchildren, Deborah Kendall and her husband Steve of Underhill, and Ronald Gillilan and his wife Sueann of Middlesex; three grandsons, Michael, Louis and Christopher Chouinard; five stepgrandchildren, Bethany, Charlie, Jeffrey, and Jaymi Kendall and Shane Gillilan; and several nephews and cousins. He also leaves a brother, Dennis Pregent and his wife Betty. He was predeceased by his daughter, Madeline Pregent, in 2000. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Paul's name to Hospice of the Champlain Valley, 1110 Prim Road, Colchester, Vt. 05446. Arrangements are in the care of Stephen C. GORHAM -- Mr. Paul L. Sanschagrin, 79, of 18 Western Avenue, Gorham, NH, passed away on Sunday March 27, 2005 at his home. He was born in Berlin on December 5, 1925, the son of Amedee "Pete" and Marie Anna (Coulombe) Sanschagrin and was a lifelong resident of the Berlin-Gorham area. He was a graduate of Berlin High School and a US Navy Veteran of World War II. He had been employed by Brown Company and James River Corporation as a supervisor in the converting department at the Cascade Mill and retired in 1987. He was a member of Holy Family Church, the White Mountain Post #2520 VFW and the Ham Radio Club-The White Mountain Bandits. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, stamp collecting and wood working. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Members of the family include his wife of 57 years, Pauline M. (Major) Sanschagrin of Gorham; three sons, Peter Sanschagrin and wife Theresa of Easton, PA, Robert Sanschagrin and wife Denise of Berlin, NH, and Daniel Sanschagrin of Morgantown, W. Mrs. Roberta M. Morin, 76, widow of Leonard W. Morin, a resident of Dunbar Road, Cambridge, NY died Sunday, March 27, 2005 at the Centers For Living and Rehabilitation following a long illness. Born in Bennington, VT February 20, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn (Jones) Watson. She received her education in the Bennington schools. Mr. and Mrs. Morin were married at the First United Methodist in Bennington on July 10, 1948. Mr. Morin died April 6, 2003. In earlier years, Mrs. Morin was employed by the Manes family in Bennington as a babysitter. She later was employed at EZ Mill, and BenMont Paper Company. At the time of her retirement, she had been employed by the State of New York for thirty-three years as a staffing supervisor at Letchworth Village , a school for the mentally disabled. Her hobbies and interests included painting, baking and traveling extensively with the Holiday Ramblers. Her home and family, especially her grandchildren, were her primary interest. Survivors include four children, Leonard Morin of Cambridge, NY, Michelle Manglass of Tomkins Cove, NY, Jeffrey Morin of Pine Bush, NY and Christie Garland of Hagerstown, Maryland; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six sisters and three brothers, Nina Morrison of AL; Shirley Brown and Beverly Shultz, both of Bennington, Robert Watson of Woodbridge, VA, Lawrence Watson of Monroe, NY, Patricia Stuber of Merrils Inlet, SC, Priscilla Stuber of Stony Point, NY, Phillip Watson and Sandra Watson both of North Bennington; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Mrs. Morin was pre deceased by a sister, Ora Watson. The funeral will be held from the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Thursday, March 31, 2005 at 11 A.M. with Rev. Norma Drosky, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Bennington officiating. Seigneur, vous m’avez appelé près de vous. J’ai laissé seuls ceux que j’aimais tant, prenez ma place auprès d’eux. Après une courte maladie si inattendue et sournoise, Rosaire s’est éteint, après douze jours de maladie. Il laisse dans la douleur après cinquante-trois ans de mariage, son épouse adorée Hermance Marquis. À l’hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus, le 24 mars 2005, à l’âge de 81 ans et 4 mois, est décédé M. Rosaire Dallaire, époux de Hermance Marquis, fils de feu monsieur Edmond Dallaire et de feu madame Lydia Dallaire. Il demeurait à Québec. Selon ses volontés, il n’a pas été exposé. Une liturgie de la parole a été prononcée en toute intimité le samedi 26 mars 2005 à 14h, à la Coopérative funéraire de la Falaise 525, Prince-Édouard, Québec et de là au cimetière Saint-Charles, 1460, boul. Hamel, Québec. Il laisse dans le deuil, outre son épouse, ses enfants: Mme Claude Dallaire (Yvan Houde), Mme Huguette Dallaire (Jacques Bélanger) et Denis Dallaire (Marie-France Delisle); neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines et ami(e)s. Un merci bien particulier au personnel de l’hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus qui lui a prodigué de très bons soins. À l’Hôtel-Dieu de Montmagny, le 26 mars 2005, à l’âge de 81 ans et 2 mois, est décédé M. Aurèle Dubé, époux en premières noces de feu dame Simone Landry et en secondes noces de dame Monique Boulet. Il demeurait à Montmagny. La famille recevra les condoléances à la Maison funéraire Laurent Normand Inc. 115, rue St-Louis, Montmagny mercredi, jour des funérailles, à compter de 9h. Le service religieux sera célébré le mercredi 30 mars 2005 à 11h en l’église St-Thomas de Montmagny, suivi de l’inhumation au cimetière de Montmagny.
