Rosaire Dallaire, époux de Hermance Marquis, fils de feu monsieur Edmond Dallaire et de feu madame Lydia Dallaire. Il demeurait à Québec. Selon ses volontés, il n’a pas été exposé. Landry, Mrs. Ray Augustin (Vivian Lyons Stout) She was born April 23, 1903, and died at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Ascension Hospital in Gonzales, with family in attendance. She was 101 and a native of Galvez. Welsh Funeral Home in Gonzales is handling her desired private final arrangements. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Jeanne Thomassie Stout, Gonzales; grandson, Lane M. Stout and his wife, Marie Lambert Stout, Gonzales; stepgreat-granddaughters, Faine Byrd Stevens of Prairieville and Chris A. Byrd of Covington; stepgreat-great-grandsons, Marshall B. Stevens of Prairieville and Derek J. Logue of Covington; two sisters, Marie Louise Brignac of French Settlement and Melissa Amelia (M.A.) Lyons of Galvez; and five nieces and nephews, Jane Brignac Brown of Mandeville, Henry V. Brignac Jr. of Baton Rouge, Elaine Brignac Seghers of Hot Springs, Ark., William Yrle Ricks of Marianna, Fla., and Melissa Ann Hood Duhe of Galvez. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Benjamin Lyons and Melissa Dencausse Lyons, who were of Galvez; son, Raymond Louis Stout, who was of Gonzales; infant granddaughter, Ann Stout, who was of Gonzales; first husband, Oscar Stout, who was of Eunice; second husband of 50 years, Ray Augustine Landry, who was of Darrow; sisters, Edith Lyons, who was of Baton Rouge, Margery Lyons Young, who was of Panama City, Fla., and Regina Lyons Hood, who was of Galvez. She was a retired registered civil service nurse during the first half of the 20th century, stationed at Ellis Island N.Y., Fort Worth, Texas, and Lexington, Ky. She was also a schoolteacher in numerous communities throughout south Louisiana. She enjoyed gardening, genealogical research and formal ballroom dancing. All those who knew her will miss her dearly. NORWOOD -- Jeannette D. Blain, 78, of New Bedford died Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at Caritas Norwood Hospital after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Edmond and Eva (Brouillette) Blain. A life-long resident of New Bedford, she was a communicant of St. Joseph-St. Therese Church here. She was employed by St. Luke's Hospital and Parkwood Hospital as a registered nurse until her retirement. Miss Blain was a graduate of Holy Family High School and St. Anne's Hospital School of Nursing. She was an avid reader. Survivors include a niece, Elaine Vaness of Thornton, Colo.; and a great-nephew, Christopher Vaness of Thornton. She was the sister of the late Edmond Blain Jr. and Yvonne Rego. In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated. A memorial Mass will be 9 a.m. tomorrow at St. Joseph-St. Therese Church. Arrangements were by Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.

LOWELL -- Carol Ann (Braverman) Tessier, 56, a resident of Lowell, died Saturday, March 26, at a local nursing home following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Harry Tessier.She was born in Chelsea, on Oct. 13, 1948, daughter of the late Philip and Rose (Cooper) Braverman. She received her education in Chelsea schools and graduated from Chelsea High School.She had been employed as a cashier and later as a clerk at the delicatessen, at Sun Foods. More recently, she had worked at the Market Baskets on Wood Street and Stadium Plaza.She enjoyed spending time at the beach in Hampton, N.H. and Salisbury. She also like to color and do crossword puzzles.Her survivors include three daughters and a son-in-law, Sherrie (Grondin) Rivera and her husband, Jose, Michelle Grondin, and Jennifer Grondin and her companion, Kirk Batstone, all of Lowell; 11 grandchildren, Kerri Friant, Amanda Friant, Justin Grondin, James Dumont, Alexe Lombardi, and Destiny Rivera, Miguel Rivera, Mindy Rivera, Alexsandra Rivera, Raquel Rivera, and Sylvia Rivera all of Lowell; and her best friend, Judith Wilsie. KRISTEV, Alexander Alexander "Alex" Kristev passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian on Sunday, March 27, 2005 at age 76. Born in Pleven, Bulgaria, on November 25, 1928, he was the son of the late George and Zlata Kristev. Alex was a Physical Electronics Engineer and Master Electrician who owned several local businesses over the years including Sudbury Instrumentation, Orion Electronics and Alex Electrical. Extremely intelligent with a warm sense of humour, he will be greatly remembered for sharing his witty jokes and Bulgarian proverbs, his helpful, giving nature and his delicious homemade banitsa and baklava. He is survived by his wife, Judy, of Sudbury; his son George of Pikeville, North Carolina; his daughter, Kristina, of Abbotsford, B.C.; and two grandchildren. Alex was pre- deceased by his parents and daughter Jeanette and will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, extended families and friends whose lives he touched. FAIRHAVEN -- Leona B. (Lemieux) Daniel, 72, of Fairhaven died unexpectedly at home Saturday, March 26, 2005. She was the wife of Romeo A. Daniel. Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Olivier and Cecile (Doucette) Lemieux. She lived in Fairhaven most of her life. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. Mrs. Daniel was a member of the Fairhaven Senior Citizens. She loved walking, gardening, sewing, quilting and knitting. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Goldberg, Francoise R., age 86, wife of the late Irving Goldberg, died on March 27, 2005. She was born May 28, 1918, in the Town of Trois-Pistoles, Quebec, Canada, to the late Joseph Elias Michaud and Emma Beaulieu Michaud. She was a member and volunteer of H2U at Aventura Hospital (formerly Senior friends). Francoise is survived by her brother Gilles J. Morin; her nieces, France Morin Oleson and Vivianne Morin; her nephew, Robert Michaud; her nephew by alliance, Robert Weiss; and a granddaughter and grandson by alliance, Anna and P.G. Moreno. UPTON— Marion J. (Nadeau) Anderson, 91, a lifelong Upton resident, died early Mon., Mar. 28, in Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester after a brief period of declining health. She was the widow of Carl A. Anderson, who died in 2003 after 71 years of marriage. Mrs. Anderson was born in Norwich, CT, a daughter of George F. and Mary (Mezzacasa) Nadeau. She was a 1931 graduate of Upton High School and had worked as a milliner in the West Upton hat industry until retiring in 1969. She leaves two sons, Robert Anderson and his wife Helen of Upton, and Richard Anderson of Lyme, CT; one daughter, Bette Jane and her husband, James R. Bates of Upton; ten grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and several nieces and nephews. She attended the Center of Hope day program in Southbridge and was a participant in the Special Olympics, where she ran track. WEBSTER— Eleanor M. (Parmentier) Pepka Durand, 91, of Christopher Heights, died Tuesday, March 22, in Colonial Health Group. Her husband of 25 years, Edward J. Durand, died January 18. Her first husband, Felix E. Pepka, died in 1965. She leaves 2 sons, Donald E. and his wife Naomi Pepka of Dudley, and Kenneth J. and his wife Sandra Pepka of Thompson, CT; a daughter Carol A. and her husband Arthur Plouffe of Dudley; 2 stepsons, Thomas and his wife Francine Cook of Wollaston, and Edward A. Durand of Pittsfield, Maine; a step-daughter, Janice and her husband Raymond Hebert of Greenville, RI; 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was born in Dudley, one of eight children of Alfred and Elizir (Mayotte) Parmentier, and lived in the Dudley and Webster area until 1979, when she moved to Woonsocket, RI. She returned here in January after her husband’s death. Mrs. Pepka Durand worked at the deli counter at the Dudley Park ën’ Shop until 1979. She also was an inspector at Omnitech for 14 years. She was a former member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and a longtime member of Saint Joseph Church in Woonsocket, RI. She was secretary and coach for the junior bowling leagues at Circle Bowl in the late 1950s and early 1960s. GORHAM -- Mr. Paul L. Sanschagrin, 79, of 18 Western Avenue, Gorham, NH, passed away on Sunday March 27, 2005 at his home. He was born in Berlin on December 5, 1925, the son of Amedee "Pete" and Marie Anna (Coulombe) Sanschagrin and was a lifelong resident of the Berlin-Gorham area. He was a graduate of Berlin High School and a US Navy Veteran of World War II. He had been employed by Brown Company and James River Corporation as a supervisor in the converting department at the Cascade Mill and retired in 1987. He was a member of Holy Family Church, the White Mountain Post #2520 VFW and the Ham Radio Club-The White Mountain Bandits. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, stamp collecting and wood working. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Members of the family include his wife of 57 years, Pauline M. (Major) Sanschagrin of Gorham; three sons, Peter Sanschagrin and wife Theresa of Easton, PA, Robert Sanschagrin and wife Denise of Berlin, NH, and Daniel Sanschagrin of Morgantown, W. VA; two daughters, Lucy St. Onge and fiancé Kenneth Fitzpatrick of Center Conway, NH, and Carol Roy, RN and husband Michael of Berlin, NH; eight grandchildren, Paul Sanschagrin and wife Suzanne, Allan Sanschagrin, Ryan St. Onge, Andrea Jacques, Jeffrey Sanschagrin, Brandon Sanschagrin, Tyler Sanschagrin and Carley Roy; a step-grandson, Shaun Roy of Dover, NH; one great-grandson, Gabriel Jacques; one sister, Jeannette Sanschagrin of Berlin, NH; nieces and nephews including a beloved niece and nephew, Joanne and Gordon Lambertson of Gorham, NH, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday March 30, at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Church in Gorham, NH. Interment will be in the Holy Family Cemetery. JOSEPH ‘MURRAY’ DONNELLY Murray Donnelly, of 824 Sixth St. E., Fort Frances, Ont., passed away at La Verendrye General Hospital on Friday, March 25, 2005. He was born Nov. 27, 1922 in Roleau, Sask. to the late Frank and Agnes Donnelly. At the age of two, the Donnelly family moved to Fort Frances. In 1942, Murray joined the R.C.A.F. and during his overseas stint made 47 operational flights over Europe in close support of the advancing armies of the Allies. He was a wireless air gunner on Mitchell B-25 Bombers, Squadron 226. He also was the gunnery leader for Wing 137 and, at the end of hostilities in 1945, was discharged with the rank of Flying Officer. In addition to being a veteran of W.W.II, Murray was a 30-year veteran of the Land Registration system in Ontario. He was appointed as Local Master of Titles for the Rainy River District Office in 1957, where he worked for 19 years, and later transferred to the Thunder Bay Registry Office, serving another 11 years until his retirement in November, 1987. For enjoyment, Murray loved travelling, golfing, carpentry, and gardening. He also was an avid sports enthusiast and a great trivia buff. He devoted his life to his wife, Irene, and their three children. He was very proud of his children/grandchildren and all of their accomplishments. Murray is survived by Irene Donnelly, his wife of 50 years; daughter, Maureen (Mark) of Fort Frances, Ont.; two sons, Mel (Janine) of Minneapolis, Mn., and Brian (Louise) of Thunder Bay, Ont.; and four grandchildren, Candice and Christin Thomson, and Lauren and Taylor Donnelly. He also is survived by numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Frank in 1929; brother, Capt. Mel Donnelly in 1945; and mother, Agnes in 1973. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 31, 2005 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Fort Frances. Fr. Tom Meyers will officiate, with interment in the Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances. Pallbearers will be Eivend Haugo, Arnold Brown, Wilf Sanders, Rudy Hutka, Robert Ward, and Sid Ward.
