SEABROOK, F. Beverly In hospital on Sunday, March 27th, 2005 in his 72nd year. Survived by his devoted wife Joyce (nee Dunne) and his children Brent (Debbie), Heather (Trevor) and Elizebeth. Much loved Papa to Kayla, Cory and Julia. Predeceased by his parents Ellard and Jane Seabrook. Brother of Doreen McCaffrey (the late Ray), Ron (Lynn), Gail Ramesbottom (Gerry), Leona Kavanagh (the late Walter), Wayne (Pat), the late Irene Richardson (Will), the late Ivan (Myrtle and the late Shirley), and the late Raymond (Rosemary). Shirley Deroche Colon entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 28, 2005. She was 92 years. Deroche. Visitation will resume Wednesday at 8 a.m. until the time of service.A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Dore' died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2005, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette.Johnny was a welder most of his life working many years with Dutch Gosnell in New Iberia and with other companies in the area. He has been active with many organizations since his youth, serving as an altar boy at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, and being a member of the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts Pack 465.Johnny was also active in sports and many outdoor activities. As a child, he played peewee football with the Cowboys and played football all throughout his Middle, Jr. High and High School years. He made all District and All State in his senior year at New Iberia Senior High (of which he was a 1978 graduate) and received a scholarship to play football with Nicholls State University. Besides football, he was an avid fisherman having fished the Iberia Rod and Gun Club Rodeo and the KC Rodeo on the Capt. Will and Voodoo Queen winning many trophies and plaques, and riding his Harley with his many friends and family.He is survived by his former wife, Jenny Segura Dore'; a daughter, Jamie Lynn Dore' and friend Rob Neilson; a granddaughter, Makayla Syndey Neilson; parents, Wilbert J. and Cordry Campbell Dore'; a sister, Gail Dore' Boutin and husband Randall all of New Iberia; nephew, Randall "Flip" Boutin II and wife Christy and two great-nephews, Gage and Evan Boutin all of Delcambre.Mr. Dore' was preceded in death by his grandparents, Amedee and Evie Delahoussaye Campbell and Cleus L. and Lucille Meaux Dore and an uncle, Wilton L. Lauzon, Isabelle G. -- Pinconning, Michigan -- Mrs. Lauzon, 90 years, passed away at her Son & Daughter-in-law's home on Easter morning, Sunday, March 27, 2005 with her family at her side. She was born in Scranton, PA on October 25, 1914 to the late Paul & Mary (Kedvesz) Duboy. She married Louis Lauzon on January 14, 1933. He preceded her in death on Easter Sunday March 30, 1975. She lived in Pinconning most of her life. She enjoyed her family, her flower gardens, crocheting, and dancing. She was able to dance with her sons and grandsons at her 90th birthday party. Isabelle was a member of St. Anne Church and was retired from Polymid in Linwood. She is survived by one daughter and four sons: Margaret Morris of Bay City, Robert (Bobby) & Ceil Ann Lauzon of Pinconning, David (Butch) & Betty Lauzon of Pinconning, Anthony (Skip) & Karen Lauzon of Las Vegas, Larry (Taco) & Veronica Lauzon of Pinconning; and a daughter-in-law, Barbara Lauzon of Pinconning; 22 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren. Isabelle was predeceased by sons, Paul & Rudy; grandson, Bobby Morris; a sister, Mary Sabo; two brothers, Paul & Alex Duboy; and a great- granddaughter, Shannon Hanson. BERLIN, NH -- Doris Lafrance Pepin, 85, formerly of Third Avenue, passed away Friday afternoon, March 25, 2005 at Pond View Acres, in Northwood, NH. Mrs. Pepin was born in Berlin on September 17, 1919, the daughter of the late Alma (Montminy) and Alphonse Lafrance. A longtime resident of Berlin, Mrs. Pepin attended local schools, and was married to Maurice Pepin. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. She dedicated her life to caring for her children and grandchildren, as well as her husband. Mrs. Pepin was a devoted member of St. Joseph’s Church, now known as St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Mrs. Pepin is survived by her children, Donald Pepin and wife Mary Jane, of Milan, Richard Pepin and wife Renate, of Ohio; and Lorraine Ladny and husband Jack of Northwood, NH. She is also survived by her brothers; Robert Lafrance, Lucien Lafrance, Maurice Lafrance, and Norman Lafrance all of Berlin, and Leo Lafrance of Laconia; her sisters; Lorraine Baillageron of Gorham; Theresa Lafrance and Cecile Gagnon, both of Berlin and Blanche Pepin of Connecticut, as well as her brother-in-law Robert Pepin; sisters-in-law Irene Pellerin and Priscilla Poirier. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Diane, Denise, Donna, Belinda, Allan, Andrea and Kendra, as well as many nieces and nephews and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Pepin in 1985, as well as three brothers and three sisters. She was also predeceased by her grandson, Kip Pepin in 2005. Annette Campeau, 87, of Rutland, passed away on March 27, 2005, at Porter Hospital in Middlebury.She was born on November 10, 1917, in Ontario, Canada, daughter of Orphila and Rose-Anna (Quesnel) Leduc. She married Omer Campeau in Moose Creek, Ontario, in 1939, and they moved to Vermont in 1947. They lived in the Middlebury area until 1983, and then relocated to Florida. Her husband predeceased her in 1986, and Annette moved back to Vermont in 2002. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Middlebury.Mrs. Campeau is survived by one son, Allan and his wife Anita of Brandon; and one daughter, Estelle Chandler and her husband Allen of Spring Hill, Fla.; and a sister, ReJean Campeau of Ontario, Canada. Anita P. Olson -- July 5, 1911 -- March 28, 2005 -- PUTNAM-- Anita Pamela (Bernier) Olson, 93, passed away peacefully Monday March 28, 2005 in a local nursing home. She was predeceased by her loving husband Arthur Olson in 1955. Born in Putnam, she lived here all her life, working as a Winder in Belding Hemingway Co. She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Visitation Church, and a member of the Catholic League of Women there. She was also a member of Senior Citzens of Brooklyn and Senior Citizens of Putnam. Anita is survived by her two nephews Gerard Bernier of Scotland CT and Paul Bernier of Jacksonville FL. Besides her husband Arthur, she was predeceased by her brother Dolor Bernier and her sister Gertrude Bernier. The funeral will be Thursday from Gilman Funeral Home at 9:30 AM with Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church at 11 AM, followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery. North Windham - Elizabeth "Betty" Berthiaume, 65, of North Windham, died Sunday, March 27, 2005 at the Windham Hospital.She was born June 26, 1939, in Willimantic, the daughter of the late Joseph and Stella Berthiaume.For over 20 years, Betty had been employed by Camp Horizons. SOMERSWORTH — Leo J. Bisson, 85, formerly of Kings Lane, died Sunday, March 27, 2005, at the Rochester Manor following a period of failing health. Born in Somersworth, April 14, 1919, he was the son of Adolphe and Lea (Couture) Bisson. He was educated in Somersworth schools. During World War II he was the first of five brothers to leave for the service on March 31, 1941, and the last to return home after the war on Dec. 22, 1945. He spent most of his life working in area shoe shops. He loved music, he learned to play the accordion and the harmonica by himself. When he was younger and lived at home, during his lunch hour every noon he would go up to his room and practice on the accordion for at least 20 to 30 minutes. On WTSN he was known as “Leo the one man band.” He would call Don Briand on the eve of every holiday and entertain the many listeners with his own rendition of appropriate tunes by playing both the harmonica and accordion at once. He spent the last two years at the Rochester Manor after a severe stroke. He was loved by everyone and made it his “home” and enjoyed living there. He was loved and respected by all his nieces and nephews who looked up to him and they would do anything for “Uncle Leo.” He es-pecially enjoyed entertaining the children. He was predeceased by four brothers, Raymond in 1963, Adelard in 1979, Jules in 1987 and Joseph in 1994. Survivors include four brothers, Maurice Bisson of Somersworth, Fr. Roger Bisson, a White Father Missionary of St. Petersburg, Fla., Paul Bisson of Tampa, Fla., David Bisson of The Villages, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Arnold (Helen) Houde of Somersworth; a sister-in-law, Pauline Bisson; and nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Roberge Fu-neral Home, 298 High St., Somersworth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Martin Church. Marcela Marchand, 86, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Easter morning (March 27, 2005). She was born in Bolognesi, Peru. She left Callao, Peru 30 years ago to reside and work in the Hartford area. Marcela, widow of Mamerto Marchand was predeceased by her son, Eduardo. Phyllis M. Regis -- February 2, 1912 - March 27, 2005 -- DAYVILLE - Phyllis M. Regis, 93, of Upper Maple St., died on Sunday at the Heywood Hospital in Gardner, Massachusetts. She was the wife of the late Lucien H. Regis, who died on September 29, 1992. They were married on April 11, 1932 at St. Joseph Church in Dayville. Mrs. Regis was born on February 2, 1912 in St. Roch, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of the late Mitchell and Adele (Hebert) Piette. She attended school in Canada and at the age of seven, she moved with her family to Slatersville, RI. When she was a teenager, she moved with her family to Dayville, CT. After her marriage in 1932, she devoted herself to the raising and care of her family. When her children were grown, she worked as a seamstress in the local textile industry. She retired in 1972. Her main interest was her family and the care she provided to them. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother and greatgreat grandmother. She will be sadly missed. Mrs. Regis was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Dayville, and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Society. She leaves three sons, Richard R. Regis and his wife, Naomi of Brooklyn, Raymond L. Regis and his wife, Carol of Dayville and Robert A. Regis and his wife, Patricia of Brooklyn; three daughters, Lorraine R. Breault of Dayville, Annette R. Crowe and her husband, Howard of Valencia, PA, and Nancy E. Lohbusch and her husband Rudolph of S. Killingly; fourteen grandchildren; eleven greatgrandchildren; and a greatgreat -grand daughter; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Nancy Elaine Regis; five brothers, Lucien, Mitchell, Louis, William and Alfred Piette; and two sisters, Alice Fortin and Simone Gibeault. PAUL J. PREGENT -- BURLINGTON — Paul J. Pregent, 87, died peacefully Sunday, March 27, 2005, at his home following a long illness. He was born Oct. 15, 1918, in Montreal, Canada, the son of Thomas and Aurora (LeBlanc) Pregent. Paul served in the U.S. Air Force as a Captain on the B29 during World War II. He worked for many years as a research and development engineer for various manufacturing companies in New England. Paul served as a Boy Scout leader for many years. Paul loved the outdoors. He was an expert marksman and loved hunting, fishing, and boating. He took great pleasure in spending time with the neighborhood boys, teaching them hunting, fishing and boating. He also enjoyed taking them on boat trips to Canada. He is survived by his wife, Joyce, of 28 years; his two children, Michael and his wife Donna of LaJolla, Calif, and Michele Pregent of Cape Cod, Mass.; two stepchildren, Deborah Kendall and her husband Steve of Underhill, and Ronald Gillilan and his wife Sueann of Middlesex; three grandsons, Michael, Louis and Christopher Chouinard; five stepgrandchildren, Bethany, Charlie, Jeffrey, and Jaymi Kendall and Shane Gillilan; and several nephews and cousins. He also leaves a brother, Dennis Pregent and his wife Betty. He was predeceased by his daughter, Madeline Pregent, in 2000. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. BARLOW, Curtis Francis Squadron Leader (R.C.A.F. Ret'd.) Passed away peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2005 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Patricia Mary. Dear father of Curtis. Predeceased by cherished daughter Kathryn. Also survived by brothers Kenneth (Thelma) of Oliver, B.C. and Len (Freddie) of Calgary. Curt joined the R.C.A.F. in July 1939 and became air crew in 1943. He was posted overseas in 1944 and served in WW II as Deputy Gunnery Leader of 434 Squadron, then Gunnery Leader of 431 Squadron, No. 6 Group R.C.A.F. Bomber Command. He was posted to various stations from 1945-1952 as a Technical Warrant Officer. Recommissioned in 1952 as Technical Aeronautical Engineer. Served as Engineering Officer with 423 AW Squadron at St. Hubert; then posted to 1 (F) Wing, Marville, France as Engineering Officer of 410 then 441 Squadrons. Transferred to the West German Air Force 1958-1959, Oldenburg, Germany as a Military Advisor. Promoted to Squadron Leader in 1962 and served at RCAF Station, Summerside, P.E.I. Posted to Ottawa and retired from the RCAF in 1968. He retired from DND in 1974. HOUGH, Thomas Harris, Q.C. THH slipped the surly bonds very suddenly on March 27, 2005. He was born in North Bay, Ontario on January 2, 1922, the first child of Bill and Gwen Hough. He enlisted in the RCAF early in the war and served as a fighter pilot with the RAF. He was shot down over Italy in 1944 and spent the duration as a prisoner of war, surviving the Long March. He returned to Canada in 1946, completed university and then obtained his law degree from Osgoode Hall. He started his legal career with the Judge Advocate General and, in 1950 married Denise Lincez. He opened his private law practice in Ottawa in 1962. He retired from that practice in the late 1980's. Tom was a true renaissance man. He was a fine cabinet-maker, artist and portrait painter, boat builder, opera buff, audiophile and bibliophile. Above all, he was an academic with an unrivalled passion for acquiring and analyzing new information and sharing it with one and all. Tom was predeceased by his beloved wife Denise and son Mark. He is survived by his children Tom (Sylvia Bergen), Teri (Richard Bowles), Lynne (David McArthur) and Janet (Brian Francis). He is also survived by siblings Pat (Ray), Bill (Bev), David (Ruth), together with his late brother John's wife, Corey. His 6 grandchildren, Stefanie, Christina, Pamela, Susan, Caroline and Jonathan have lost their granddad. We have all lost a friend, helpmate and skipper. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother Kate McNeil (Ma McNeil, Grandma Mac). Predeceased by her husband Wm. McNeil in 1980, daughter Evelyn Macfie in 2004, great-granddaughter Taiya in 1995, brothers; Donald, Bob and Hugh and her companion Nels Dean. Left to mourn her passing: sons Lawrence (Kay), Gordon, Roy (Doris) daughter Hilda Higgs and son-in-law Jim Macfie, 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, sister Anne Devaney, brother Douglas (Jean) Carter and numerous nieces and nephews. Born Katharine May Carter in Lloydminster, Alberta, she moved to Powell River in 1926, married Bill in 1931 and lived on Gabriola Island for the first 8 years of her marriage. She has resided in Nanaimo for the remainder of her long and productive life. Kate led a very active life raising her 5 children, then remained very active in the lives of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to bowl, swim in the ocean, play bingo and keep her hands busy at all times with either her knitting needles or her crochet hook. She leaves a son, Edward J. "Rocky" Tourtellotte; a daughter, Lucille K. Prince and her husband Gary of Douglas; a brother, Wilfred Comeau of Spencer and a sister, Edna Dente of Worcester; two stepsons, Thomas Fisher of South Dakota and Daniel Fisher of Bridgewater; two stepdaughters, Rose Justice of Florida, and Margaret Fisher of Waltham; eight grandchildren; many nephews and nieces, seven brothers and three sisters. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Adelard and Marie Rose (Beaudreau) Comeau. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church and its choir, a former member of St. Roch's Church in Oxford and a member of its choir. She was also a member of the Oxford Council on Aging. FISKDALE - Victor G. Gengreau, 84, of the Fiskdale section of Sturbridge, died Saturday, March 26, 2005 in the Holyoke Soldiers Home, Holyoke. Born in Springfield, "Vic" was formerly a resident of Wilbraham, Westfield, Becket and Holland. He moved to Fiskdale in 2000. Vic was a retired machinist at Hamilton Standard, Windsor Locks, CT where he worked for 20 years. He also worked at the former American Bosch in Springfield for 10 years. He was a WWII veteran serving with the US Army Air Force in the European Theater. He leaves his wife of 27 years, Yvette (Durocher) Gengreau; a sister, Doris Watson of Agawam; a step-son, Daniel E. LaFleur of Holland; a step-daughter, Madeline A. Rainville of Holland; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grand-children.
