Grandmother of 7 grandchildren; Heath Martin (Jennifer) of London, Ontario, Korean Martin (Dan) of Timmins, Rodney Martin Jr. (Kelly) of Toronto, Sonya Martin (Chad) of Timmins, Derick Martin (Kerah) of Texas, Paul Martin (Kim) and David Martin all of Timmins. PAICE, Reginald John. 1916 - 2004. It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Reginald John Paice. Reg died peacefully on November 1, 2004 at the Lakeshore Hospital, surrounded by his children and grandchildren. He leaves to mourn his five children by his late wife, Dorothy Marshall - Louise (John Skurczak), Don (Elaine), Leslie, Carol (Les Davidson), and Ken (Cindy). HEATON, Ellis. Went peacefully to be with his Lord and Saviour on November 2, 2004 after a long and valiant battle with cancer. Loving husband of Betty, dear father of Tina Kearns (Jim) and David Heaton. Cherished Gran'dad of Chrystie Choquette (Chris), Cheryl Kearns and Jayne Heaton, and much loved Great Gran'dad of Elijah Kearns and Ireland Choquette. Born in Bolton England in 1923, Ellis joined the Royal Air Force in 1939 as an aircraft apprentice at the age of 16, and remained in the RAF for the duration of the Second World War, serving in Burma and Singapore as an aircraft technician and attaining the rank of sergeant. God was with him then and his only wound was a minor shrapnel burn. He set sail for Canada in May 1954, where he was joined 2 months later by his wife Betty and 19 month old daughter Tina; with the birth of son David to follow in June 1956. He served as a commissioner on the Lake of Two Mountains and Laval Regional School Boards in Quebec from 1960 to 1972. Ellis resided in St. Eustache and worked in Montreal for Canadair and TCA/Air Canada as a technician and later an aero-engineering maintenance planner until his retirement in 1983, and resided in Orleans since 1988. He is with God now. Ellis' family is grateful to Ana, Dee, Bride, Isobel, Julia, Chantal, Dr. Fitzgibbon, Mary-Anne and all the special caregivers and staff in the Palliative Care family at Elisabeth Bruyere; the compassionate care of Gini, Krista and Dr. Morgan at Ottawa General; CCAC and VON for their help and support; Perveen, Dr. Ryan and staff, his St. Helen's Church family, everyone at the Queenswood Villa Retirement Home, as well as so many long time friends and neighbours. WATSON, Jonathon A. Tragically, on Sunday, October 31, 2004. Jonathon passed away. Matthew Small Unexpectedly on Monday November 1st, 2004 aged 67 years of South Porcupine. Matthew is survived by his wife Ann (née Houston) at home. Loving father of Tara Lynn (Charles) (Wayne), Darlene and Matthew. Cherished grandfather of Alysha, Darrell, Zachary, Daxton, Michael and David. Treasured brother of Arnold (Mona) and Barbra (Charles). He also leaves a very special close friend Bobby Adamson. Matthew was predeceased by his parents Maye (née Hobbs) and Edward Small. He was born in Schumacher and had been a lifetime resident of the Porcupine Camp, having worked for Miller Paving since 1972. Matthew had been a member of the Loyal Order Of The Moose, South Porcupine and member of the "Zoo Crew." Remembrance donations to the Diabetes Association can be made through the funeral home and will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
