MELISSA DAWN CLARK It is with great sorrow that the family of Melissa Dawn Clark announce her sudden passing on Friday, Oct. 22, 2004 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances. Ont. She was born Sept. 12, 1985 in Sudbury, Ont. Melissa battled with diabetes most of her life, and her family is very grateful for all the help she received from the medical staff both in Thunder Bay and Fort Frances. She will be greatly missed by her father, James; sisters, Jennifer Clark of Emo, Ont., Crystal Burton of Atikokan, Ont., and Tracy Batson of Thunder Bay, Ont.; nephew, Austin Hudson; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family. Melissa was predeceased by her mother, Shelly; grandparents, Rudy and Theodore Clark, and grandfather, Stanley Idzi. MILLER, HARVIE E. - The death of Harvie Edgar Miller of 55 Hayes Avenue, Saint John West, husband of the late Leah (Dunlop) Miller, occurred on October 23, 2004, at the Carleton Kirk Nursing Home. Born in Bayswater, NB, he was the son of the late Edgar and Myrtle (Currie) Miller. Harvie owned and operated Eastern Insulation for 42 years, before his retirement in 1988. He was a member of South Bay United Church and the three M's Band, Miller, Morrison and McNally playing for people's enjoyment, especially seniors and nursing home residence. He is survived by two daughters, Lynda Robichaud (Omer) of Hardings Point and Carol Ann White of Quispamsis; one brother, Gerald Miller of Truro, NS; six grandchildren, Jamie (Lisa), Stacy (Chris) and Marc Robichaud and Alexander, Sarah and Victoria White; and four nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Ernest and one sister, Muriel. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Edward and Mary (Crowley) O'Toole. He was employed with McAvity's, Calp's Department Store and the Saint John Regional Correctional Center. He is survived by his aunt Marjorie O'Toole, his cousins Bill Crowley and Rose Riley, his second cousin Sarah Voellmecke and several other cousins and extended family and his many friends. Kirk Alexander Nisbet April 27, 1956 - October 20, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Jenkens Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre Mr. Kirk Nisbet, age 48 years, passed away peacefully in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, October 20th, 2004 with his family by his side. Kirk was born to the late Hugh and Jean Nisbet on April 27th, 1956 in Thunder Bay where he met and married his wife and best friend Judy in 1980. Shortly thereafter, Kirk and Judy had their one and only daughter Valerie May, Kirk’s little angel who he loved and was so proud of in October 1981. Kirk was a devoted long time employee of A&P for over 30 years. Kirk’s main interests were his family and home, woodworking, cribbage, cooking, his satellite dish, watching a good movie, going to the casino and his cat Charlie (his buddy). He was a very generous and caring man who will be missed very much by everyone that knew him. Kirk is survived by his wife Judy of 24 years, daughter Valerie, brothers and sister in laws Debbie and Perry Morgan, Art and Karen Lofts, Cindy Lofts, aunts, uncles, cousins and many nieces and nephews all of Thunder Bay. Kirk was predeceased by his father Hugh in 1992, his mother Jean in 1996, in laws Kathleen Lofts 1998 and Houghton Lofts on 2001. According to his wishes cremation has taken place.
