Stanford "Popeye" Graham Sinclair November 03, 1940 - October 06, 2004 Peacefully on Wednesday, October 6th, 2004 at the Percy E. Moore Hospital, our dad, brother, grandpa, husband and uncle went home to be with the Lord at the age of 63. Popeye was born in Fisher River on November 3rd, 1940 to Helen and Joseph Sinclair. He leaves to mourn his passing, his sons, Jimmy (Brenda) Sinclair, Stan (Claudia) Sutherland and their mother Mary; his grandchildren, Brittany, Conrad and Dennis; Anthony and Ashton (their mother Charlene); his sisters, Harriet Amos, Marita Sinclair, Pearl Sinclair all of Fisher River; his step-sister, Louise Trescott of Ontario; his step-brother, Wesley Rundle of Alberta; his aunt Lena Murdock of Fisher River; his sisters-in-law, Mable (Emil) and Della (Brian); his brothers-in-law, Larry (Glennis), Wally (Julie), Ernest (Peggy), Dennis, Walter and Morgan; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Popeye also leaves behind special friends, Louis and Shirley Stevenson of Dallas, Doonie Walker and Fran Govereau. Popeye was predeceased by his parents, Helen and Joe Sinclair; his grandparents, Addie and John R. Sinclair; his brother Harry Sinclair; and by his in-laws, Albert and Rose Sutherland. Popeye spent his last few years in Fisher River and Peguis where he enjoyed making his daily rounds by visiting and phoning his family, friends and relatives. His life never had a dull moment, he was a traveling man and met up with all kinds of trades during his life. In his younger life, he worked in the mines at Pine Point, N. W. T. For many years. Popeye then went on to become a fisherman and cook in his later years until his illness in 2002. A wake service will be held on Saturday, October 9th, 2004 at 8 :00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 10th, 2004 at 2 :00 p.m. Both services will be held at the Steven's Memorial United Church, Fisher River, Manitoba. Née le 23 février 1947, elle était fille de feu Richard Hébert et de feu Elmire Breault. Francis "Red" Xavier Westfall July 15, 1923 - October 08, 2004 Westfall, "Red" Francis Xavier Peacefully on Friday October 8, 2004 at Met Hospital with his daughter by his side, at the age of 81. In the 60's, Rollin' Red was a stock car announcer and driver at Checker Flag Raceway. In the 70's he was a professional clown and animal trainer. Known as "DUDE The Cowboy Clown" he performed on CKLW's 'Bozo the Clown' with Buffy the World Famous Clown Dog and at Boblo Island Zoo with Sonny the Chimpanzee. In the 80's, Francis was Colour Guard Commander and a lifetime member of The Royal Canadian Legion, RCL Branch 143. He also celebrated 41 years "One Day At A Time!" Of all his endeavours he was most proud of being a Buddy Ball Umpire for physically and mentally challenged children. Red always had a special place in his heart for kids. Beloved husband of the late Enis "Ann" Westfall (nee Bastianon). Dear Dad to Darlene. Cherished "Papa" of Rachel Enis. Loving brother to only sister Lorraine Mercer. Alyssa was the cherished "princess" daughter of Brett Kish and Holly Wilson. Loving granddaughter of Norma and Bob Wilson, Steve and the late Rita Kish and great-granddaughter of Helen and Cecil Dillen. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse depuis 54 ans, Bernadette (Gautreau) Magee; deux filles: Giselle (Paul) de Moncton et Claire (Barry) de Halifax; trois petits-enfants: Joël, Adèle et Lisanne; deux soeurs: Régina Savoie de Moncton et Margaret Godin de Montréal, un beau-frère, Freddy Gautreau (Doris); ses belles-soeurs: Nelda Gautreau, Edith Magee, Jeannine Magee, Georgette Magee et Claudette Magee, ainsi que plusieurs nièces et neveux. M. Magee a été comptable. Il a travaillé à l’Évangeline, pour le gouvernement provincial du N.-B. et pour Newstart. Avant de prendre sa retraite, il a été contrôleur de l’Institut de Memramcook. Il était passionné par la culture acadienne et irlandaise. Il a été secrétaire du premier comité de la Société historique de la Vallée de Memramcook, ancien secrétaire du Irish Culture Association, directeur du Musée de Moncton, ancien président de S.O.N.A., du Club Acadien et du Club Beauséjour en 1960 et 1982. La famille recevra les condoléances le mercredi 13 octobre, de 19h à 21h, au salon funéraire Frenette, 88, rue Church à Moncton (858-1900, www.salonfrenette.com). Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Sainte-Famille à Moncton, le jeudi 14 octobre. L’inhumation se fera au cimetière Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire à Dieppe. BROWN, Malcolm H. "Mac", Peacefully, at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Sunday, October 10th, 2004 in his 86th year. Loving husband of Norma (nee Cross). Treasured by his daughter Lynne and son Bruce (Ellen), grandchildren Nathan (Dana), Eric a and Zachary Brown. Mac is survived by his sister Marjorie McPherson, nephews David and Ross. Special thanks to the Care Managers at CCAC, Para-Med Nurse Jan and caregiver Ziggy for their special care. Mac was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian C hurch, Thorold, former member of the board and served as an Elder for 40 years. Cremation has taken place. Le samedi 9 octobre au Centre hospitalier régional de Rimouski, est décédée à l’âge de 56 ans et 4 mois, dame Mary Wells, originaire de Rimouski et fille de feu Ernest Wells et de feu Aurore Bourget. Mary était la conjointe de Romuald Pelletier et la mère de Pascale Pelletier. Elle laisse aussi dans le deuil ses frères Gordon (Jocelyne Maheu) et Ernie Wells (Joanne Brière) et les membres de la famille Pelletier; Pauline, Lucille, Gilbert, René, Gilles, Annette et Jean-Christian, plusieurs neveux et nièces et autres parents et amis. Mary était la marraine de Melly et William Wells, la tante de Steven et Vicky Wells et la soeur de feu Bill et Winston Wells (Esther Stern). Le service religieux sera célébré en la Cathédrale de Rimouski le mercredi 13 octobre 2004 à 14 heures.
