BROWN, Malcolm H. "Mac", Peacefully, at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Sunday, October 10th, 2004 in his 86th year. Loving husband of Norma (nee Cross). Treasured by his daughter Lynne and son Bruce (Ellen), grandchildren Nathan (Dana), Eric a and Zachary Brown. Mac is survived by his sister Marjorie McPherson, nephews David and Ross. SHERWOOD, STANLEY FORD - The death of Stanley Ford Sherwood of Bayview, St. Martins, husband of the late Helen (Gillcrist) Sherwood occurred October 11, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born at Upham, son of the late Ford and Ethel (Verner) Sherwood. Stanley was a Longshoreman at Saint John Winterport in his earlier years. He then was a truck driver for several years and retired from the Department of Transportation in 1983. He enjoyed gardening. He is survived by two daughters Marion Jamieson of Saint John, Valerie Stuart (Moyle) of St. Martins; three sons Lloyd (Donna) of St. Martins, Edward (Daisy) of St. Martins, Larry (Norma) of Bains Corner; 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Cremation will be followed by visitation Wednesday, 7-9pm, at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, St. Martins, from where the funeral will be held Thursday, 2:00pm, with Rev. Dana Dean officiating. HICKS, Matilda (Hall) In loving memory of Matilda Hicks lovingly known by most as "Tillie" entered into her Lord's presence early Monday morning 11 from her home here on earth, after a courageous battle with cancer. Her passing is mourned by her husband Gordon, children Shirley (husband Craig), Rhonda (husband Reg), Glenda and Donald. Dear daughter of Alexander and Margaret Hall both predeceased. Dear sister of Carl of Athabaska, Elva of Magnetewan, Percy (wife Fay) of Kitchener and Dalton of Angus. Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Tillie's life was marked by her commitment to her Lord, family, friends, and neighbours. During her earlier years in Burwash, she volunteered time for the Cancer Society, Home & School, and many other community services. All who truly knew her reflected on her zest for life and desire to overcome all obstacles along life's pathway with a positive attitude. Her garden - her sanctuary - was a labour of love, and provided many hours of meditation, peaceful reflection, with all who took the time to enjoy its beauty. HEDLEY, Clarence In loving memory of Clarence Hedley, 87 years of Champlain Lodge, who passed away Monday morning, October 11, 2004 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. He was born in Sturgis, Saskatchewan and married Madeline "Dolly" (Bristowe) in Timmins in 1938. Clarence lived in the Sudbury area for 49 years, then resided in Timmins for 4 years, retiring to Sudbury in 1994. When he married, he drove bus for Daulton Bus Lines in Timmins, then moving to Sudbury, he drove bus for Local Lines and then was a truck driver at Johnston Cartage & Dellelce Trucking, eventually establishing his own company C. Hedley Trucking, from which he retired in 1972 to dedicate his life to the care of his wife. An accomplished driver, he received numerous safety awards. He enjoyed shooting pool, playing crib and more recently bingo. He will be remembered for his beautiful blue eyes and his wonderful sense of humour. He was well respected and well loved by all who met him. Clarence will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Beloved husband of Madeline "Dolly" (Bristowe) Hedley, predeceased 1994. Brault, Lucienne BRAULT, Soeur Lucienne Brault (Aimé-du-Sauveur), des Soeurs de la Charité d'Ottawa, est décédée à Ottawa le 9 octobre 2004 à l'âge de 96 ans, dont 77 ans de profession religieuse. Elle était la fille de aimé D. Brault et de Délisca Proulx, tous deux décédés. Née à Orléans, Ontario, elle entra en religion le 1er août 1925 et fit profession le 16 juillet 1927. Outre sa famille religieuse, elle laisse dans le deuil ses neveux et nièces et ses cousins et cousines. Elle fut prédécédée par trois frères: Horace, Lucien (Florence Hawood), Yvon (Cécile Lanthier) et trois soeurs: Gracia (Arthur Bissonnette), Germaine (Osias Lachaîne) et Laurette. La dépouille mortelle reposera à la Maison mère, 9, rue Bruyère, Ottawa, à compter de 16h le lundi 11 octobre 2004. Robert Burns MacIntyre April 15, 1953 - October 10, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Fair Haven Funeral Home Robert Burns MacIntyre on the Cabot Trail Summer 2002 51 year old Robert Burns MacIntyre of Moncton passed away on Sunday, October 10 2004 at the Moncton Hospital following a brief and courageous battle with Cancer. A native of Sydney, Nova Scotia, he was the son of Irene (Burns) and the Late Donald MacIntyre. Most recently Robert completed a Business and Computer program at Compu College in Moncton and was employed for 13 years as a senior reporter/editor with Maritime Broadcasting Limited, which operates local radio stations CKCW and CFQM. Mr. MacIntyre spent the previous ten years as an assistant news director at CFNB radio in Fredericton, as well as working at radio stations in Bathurst, NB and Sydney, NS. Mr. MacIntyre is survived by his loving partner Kimberly Garnett, his mother Irene of Sidney, NS, three brothers; Donald (Marilyn) of Lower Sackville, NS, Charles “Chick” (Raylene) of Sydney and Gus (Chris) of Kentville, NS. He is also survived by five sisters Joan of Halifax, Mary (Malcolm) Gamble of Sydney, Irene (Eric) MacLeod of Fredericton, NB, Beverly (Jean-Claude) Berry of De La Ramee, France, and Clair (Neil) MacNeil of Sydney. Mr. MacIntyre also leaves behind 22 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Donald (1970) and his brother Doug (1996). MOIR, WALTER ARCHIE The passing of Walter Archie Moir, husband of Peggy (Dinner) Moir of Fredericton, occurred on Sunday, October 10 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Temple, NB, He was the son of the late George and Daisy (Levonsailor) Moir. Walter was a World War II Veteran having served with the Royal Canadian Engineers and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Fredericton Branch #4. He is survived by his wife Peggy; one daughter, Jennifer Speedy and her husband Carl "Skip" of Fredericton; their son, Jeff Speedy with wife Linda and their children Brett and Kylee, and their daughter, Kristan Gallant with husband Jason, their children, Rhys and Ethan; one son, Terence "Terry" Moir and wife Leslye of Ottawa, Ontario, their daughter, Heather and their son, Adam; one sister, Ethel Cummings of Saint John ; one sister-inlaw, Alma Moir of London, Ontario and several nieces and nephews.
