ANZINI, Giuseppe (Papa Giuseppe). Born March 9, 1903, has sadly left this world on October 10, 2004. He was married for sixty-nine years to Maria Silletta Anzini (born April 6, 1906 - died December 11, 1991). He reunites with her, his daughter Antonietta (Benedetto Covelli) and his three grandchildren Caterina, Patrizia and Sammy. He leaves behind his children Francesco (Maria Covelli), Giovanna (Salvatore Mascaro), Giovanni Battista (Rosa DeStefano), Maria (Paolo Oliverio), Giuseppe Giovanni (Giuseppina Rosarini), Salvatore (Egilia Spina), Gerardo (Irene Saczkowsky), Rosa (Joao Sa), thirty-seven grandchildren, sixty-two great-grandchildren and fifteen great-great-grandchildren. Resting at Magnus Poirier Inc, 10300 Pie IX (corner Fleury), Montreal North. The funeral mass will be held at Parrocchia del Monte Carmelo Church, 7645 Dumans, St-Leonard) on Wednesday, October 13 at 10 a.m., thence to Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery. DOIRON, ELDA MARIE - The death of Elda Doiron, wife of Laurier Doiron, of 374 Dwyer Road, Saint John West occurred in the Palliative Care Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital on 9 October, 2004 following her nine-year battle with cancer. A loving mother of four, Elda enjoyed everything in life; her family, friends, garden, and cottage. She was born in Anse-Bleue New Brunswick on August 21, 1935, the eldest daughter of the late Lina Theriault and Alexis Landry (step-father Camille Landry). Elda and Laurier fell in love young and enjoyed 49 years of marriage together. A member of the Paroisse Sainte François de Sales, Elda's kind and generous compassion extended beyond her faith through her benevolent work and contributions to such causes as Romero House, Hestia House, and countless church and school events. Beyond her joy for life, her close friends will remember her skill at Bridge, her grandchildren the games of Scrabble, and her family her propensity to sing and dance at every gathering. Mostly, her love as a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend will be missed. Elda is survived by her devoted and loving husband Laurier, three daughters; Diane (Gerald) Green, Colette Doiron, Jacqueline (John) Mackie, one son; Gilles (Denise) Doiron, nine grand children; Steven, Natalie, Adèle, Nicole, Jonathan, Scott, Stéphanie, Sara, and Cindy, three sisters; Rita (Nick) Knynenburg, Bertha (Gilbert) Godin, and Isabelle (Renald) Boudreau and three brothers; Adèlbert (Gisèle) Landry, Ernest (Gisèle) Landry and Jean Maurice (Sylvia) Landry. Arrangements are in the care of LeGresley Funeral Home of Grande-Anse, NB. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm, Wednesday, 1:30 - 3:30 pm. Elda Marie Doiron l'Acadie Nouvelle - 11 octobre 2004 de Laurier Doiron, domiciliée à Saint-Jean, a eu lieu le 9 octobre 2004, à l’Unité des soins palliatifs de l’Hôpital régional de Saint-Jean, suite à une lutte de neuf ans contre le cancer. Elle était née à Anse-Bleue le 21 août 1935 et était la fille aînée de feu Lina Thériault et de feu Alexis Landry (feu Camille Landry, beau-père). Elda laisse dans le deuil son époux aimant et dévoué, Laurier; trois filles: Diane (Gerald) Green, Colette Doiron et Jacqueline (John) Mackie; un fils, Gilles (Denise) Doiron; neuf petits-enfants: Steven, Natalie, Adèle, Nicole, Jonathan, Scott, Stéphanie, Sara et Cindy; trois soeurs: Rita (Nick) Knynenburg de Kingston, Ont., Bertha (Gilbert) Godin et Isabelle (Renald) Boudreau, toutes deux de Maisonnette, ainsi que trois frères: Adelbert (Gisèle) Landry de Maisonnette, Ernest (Gisèle) Landry et Jean-Maurice (Sylvia) Landry, tous deux de Grande-Anse. Mère aimante de quatre enfants, Elda aimait tout de la vie: sa famille, ses amis, son jardin et son chalet. Elda et Laurier sont tombés en amour jeune et ont vécu 49 ans de mariage. En plus de sa joie de vivre, ses proches amies et amis vont se souvenir de son habileté au bridge; ses petits-enfants, des parties de scrabble; et sa famille, de ses chants et de la danse à chaque rencontre. Son amour comme épouse, mère, soeur, grand-mère et amie, va manquer à tous. Membre de la paroisse Saint-François-de-Sales, Elda, bonne et généreuse à travers sa foi, a été bénévole et a contribué à des causes comme la Maison Roméro, la Maison Hestia et aux activités d’église et d’école. La famille recevra parents et amis à compter de 14h, le mardi 12 octobre, au salon LeGresley de Grande-Anse. Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Saint-Simon et Saint-Jude de Grande-Anse, le mercredi 13 octobre, à 16h. L’inhumation se fera au cimetière paroissial. Heures de visites: le mardi 12 octobre, de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h et le mercredi 13 octobre, de 13h30 à 15h30. Un don à la Société du cancer ou à la paroisse Saint-François-de-Sales serait apprécié. LONG, MALCOLM (MAC) PERCY - (1927-2004) Following a period of failing health on Friday, October 8th at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Percy and Sarah (Haslett) Long. He leaves his beloved wife of 45 years, Pauline (Hargrove); three much-loved children, Gregory (Kim); Wayne (Denise) and Heather; six grandchildren, Joey, Kiera, Khristian, Konnor, Cody and Chelsey; his sister, Alma Jean Currie; many nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Grace Hargrove, and sister-in-law, Mary (Mitchell) Carr. Mac was born in Milkish, Kingston Peninsula, in the home he and Pauline had resided for the past 15 years. Prior to that they lived on Mansfield Street for 30 years. A very devoted Christian, he was very active in the life of his churches (St. Luke's in Saint John and St. Paul's in Whitehead) having served as a vestryman, choir member, group committee member, building committee and married couples club. He was a member of the 60th Anniversary Committee of the Saint John Vocational School and, just recently, enjoyed being with some of his former classmates. Mac worked at Murray & Gregory Ltd. for over 40 years retiring in 1986 as mill superintendent. He was a member of the Kingston Parish Singers and the Board of Trinity Terrace Seniors Complex. Mac was an avid sports fan and was involved with Lancaster Minor Hockey. He coached many teams. Mac was an insulin dependant diabetic for 58 years and was an inspiration to many. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) with visiting on Monday, October 11, 2004, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Hector George Chartrand - June 07, 1916 - June 06, 2004 - passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2004 at 1:40 a.m. at Deer Lodge Centre, 2109 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg. Hector was born at Duck Bay, Manitoba, on June 7, 1916, spending his early years at Duck Bay and later moving to Winnipeg in the 1970’s. He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory two daughters; Evelyn (Peter), Edna (Richard), two sons; Clarence (Phyllis), Lester (Wilma) and one brother Lawrence. Lisa Antonina Trombetta July 11, 1972 - October 10, 2004 Surrounded by her family, after a life long courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis on Sunday October 10, 2004 at the age of 32, Lisa tragically lost her battle. Beloved precious daughter of Nicola and Antonina. Adored sister of Peter and his wife Manuela. Treasured niece of Filomena and Antonio Russo, Raffaele and Anna Leone, Dina and Antonio Ginnetti, Filomena and Rocco Trombetta. Lidia and Francesco Pace. Predeceased by her loving nonni Pietro and Antonina Trombetta, Vincenzo and Maria Leone, also by her zie Ascenzina Trombetta, Marghertia Ricci and cousins Ascenzino Ginnetti and Vincenzo Leone. Lisa will be sadly and greatly missed most of all by her cousins Elena Trombetta, Grace Basil, Sal Russo, and also Pat and Joe Trombetta, Anna Groleau, Peter Ricci, Giuseppe and Nino Ginnetti and Gino Pace. A great loss for all her school friends and many others who’s life she touched in her too short life at New Attitude Fitness and Hill Park Pool, especially Norah Rigley. Lisa was a graduate of Mohawk College. On December 16, 1996 Lisa received a double lung transplant. After a long rehabilitation Lisa began to train for various activities. Lisa was a member of the Canadian Transplant Association, Dragon Boat Team and competed in the Canadian and World Transplant Games, receiving numerous medals in competitions. Lisa worked very hard to train for all her competitions and she made many friends along the way, who will miss her dearly. A thank you to the staff of St. Joseph’s Hospital 5 Chest Unit and Physiotherapy Department, a very special thank you to the staff of the Firestone Clinic especially Ann Bartlett and most of all to Lisa’s dearest doctor and best friend Dr. S. O. Pugsley. It is because of these special people that Lisa was able to live her life to the fullest. Richard Earl Casson - August 20, 1966 - June 10, 2004 - Suddenly, on June 10, 2004, at his residence, Richard Casson passed away at the age of 37 years. Richard is survived by his parents, Ronald and Alice Casson of Winnipeg; one sister, Brenda of Mesquite, TX; one brother, Robert of Headingly; and one niece, Sydney Casson. He is also survived by his grandparents, Barbara and Stanley Romanuk of Steinbach; aunt Martha Smith; uncles Ken and Rollie; as well as numerous cousins. Richard was born in Thompson and moved to Winnipeg in 1971. He was raised in the St. James area where he attended elementary and high school. Rick enjoyed outdoor painting, workouts at the Centennial Gym and participating in many sports. His greatest passions were hockey, football and basketball. At the time of his death, he was employed by Sauder Industries. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Interment will take place at a later date in the family plot in Greenridge UC Cemetery. Paul Douglas Gerard Chase - 2004-06-12 - passed away peacefully at home at the age of 70 years. Doug was predeceased by his parents Howard and Pauline, brother Paul, and brother-in-law Frank Christie. Doug is survived by Anne, his loving wife of 37 years, their two children: Debbie (Dean) Clark and their children Dryden and Trey; Sean and his son Austin; his close friends, Gerry and Audrey Williams, and many other family members and friends. Doug was born in Trenton, Ontario and began his 34 year career with CBC in Toronto, moving to Regina in 1977. In his retirement he tutored English as a second language and was a very active member of St Cecilia’s Roman Catholic Church. Doug was a voracious reader, a huge movie buff and loved listening to music of all kinds. A PRAYER SERVICE will be held at St. Cecilia’s Church on Tuesday, June 15th at 7:00 P.M. Sarah "Sally" Wiens (née Doerksen) - June 05, 1926 - May 28, 2004 - Born in Lowe Farm, MB., and grew up in the Grunthal area. Sally is predeceased by her two husbands John Funk (1962) and Jacob Wiens (1973), one sister Margaret June Doerksen (1989), her mother Elizabeth Doerksen and her great grand daughter Channel Giles. She is survived by her son Ronald John Funk, her daughter Lorna Elaine Welz (Ernest David Welz), her son Lionel Wayne Funk (Charles Robert Johnson), her grandson James David Welz (Theresa Welz); her granddaughter Monica Lorna Giles (Christopher James Giles), her great grandchildren Shawn Felix Welz, David James Welz, Gavius James Giles and Jude Sebastion Giles; her brothers and sisters Justina Dueck, Susana Anne Radwanski, Mary Swain, Peter Doerksen, Edward Doerksen, George Doerksen and Johnny Doerksen. Also survived by extended family. Sally put herself through school and was involved in many endeavors including; as a beautician, a nurses aide from Selkirk, Mb., an occupational therapist, took life skills coach training at the University of Manitoba, and a car clinic certificate course. Sally also initiated programs for independent living. She was active in the community and loved Bethel Place. She also loved flowers, arts and crafts, music, porcelain dolls, puzzle solving and visiting with her friends and relatives. She had a knack for teaching people how to enjoy the simple things in life. The world will be a sadder place without her. Mrs. Jacqueline "Jackie" Mary Wideski (née Cumming) - September 24, 1930 - May 29, 2004 - Age 73. Born in Fort Smith, N.W.T., after marrying Joe, September 28th, 1951, they moved to Richmond, B.C., where they had been married for almost 53 years. Predeceased by her mother Ernestine, father Gordon, sister Agnes (Sy) and brother Gordon (Dorothy). She will be deeply missed by her loving husband Joe and children: Mike, Karen, Jo-ann (Pat) and Ken; her grandchildren: Eli, Vanessa, Jackie, Joey, Valerie and Victoria. Jackie also has sisters Isabelle, Lorraine (Bill), brother Sy (Frances) from Fort Smith and sisters Leona, Jerry (George) and Dot (Ed) from Alberta and nearest sister Ida (Mike) from Delta who spent many hours by Jackie's bedside. Jackie also had many other in-laws, nephews, nieces and friends that will miss her. A few of her favourite pastimes were playing bingo with her bingo buddies, listening to country music and watching her favourite baseball team on T.V. (The Blue Jays.) Anastasia Charchuk - August 12, 1912 - June 04, 2004 - Peacefully on June 4, 2004 at St. Joseph’s Residence, Anastasia Charchuk beloved wife of the late Stanley Charchuk of Winnipeg passed away at the age of 91. Anastasia was born on August 12, 1912 in the village of Bogdanivka-Hulia-Pole, Piedvolocheski Raion, Ternopol Oblast, Ukraine. Immigrating to Canada in 1928, she married William Polischuk the following year. Her son Donald was born of this union. Predeceased by William in 1936, she married William Chmil in 1938. Together, they moved to Middlechurch, Manitoba where they resided for the next 35 years. Anastasia was an extremely hard worker and she derived much joy from her farm that she shared with William. Anastasia loved gardening and was always eager to share her harvest with her many friends. In addition to gardening, Anastasia enjoyed raising both poultry and livestock. Upon the death of her second husband in 1973, she moved to Winnipeg where life would be easier for her. In 1974 she married Stanley Charchuk. Together they travelled to the Ukraine and Florida; enjoying their time together. Anastasia was predeceased by Stanley in 1986 and by her stepdaughter Wanda Nebloch in April of 2004. While Anastasia suffered many great losses in her life, her greatest loss occurred in 1963 when her beloved son Donald passed away. However, by 1969, the birth of her first grandson Patrick and in 1971 the birth of her second grandson Michael brought her an abundance of joy and happiness. Left to mourn her loss is Anastasia’s daughter-in-law Natalie Byrne (John) of West St. Paul, Manitoba and sons Patrick of Toronto, Ontario and Michael of West St. Paul, Manitoba; her sister Olga Martynuik and son in the Ukraine; her niece Jenny Stanford (Ted) and daughters of Wasaga Beach, Ontario; her niece Olga Ivanyshyn (Tony) and family of Toronto, Ontario; Bob Nebloch and daughters of Edmonton, Alberta; and stepson Ted Charchuk of Dallas, Texas and daughter of Calgary, Alberta. The entire family wishes to thank all of the nurses and caregivers at St. Joseph’s Residence for their kindness and care of Anastasia. Prayers will be said at the Glen Eden Funeral Chapel on June 9, 2004 at 8:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the chapel on June 10, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. POWERS, Edna G. Peacefully at Lanark Lodge, Perth on Saturday, October 9th, 2004, Edna G. Powers (long time employee of Brown Shoe Company and served on the auxiliary of Branch 244, Royal Canadian Legion for many years) in her 92nd year. Edna was predeceased in 1960 by her loved husband G. Herbert Powers; she was the cherished mother and grandmother of Doris and her husband Charles Dalton of Smiths Falls and their children Catherine (Paul) Harding, Yvonne (Fred) Bannon and Steve (Carmelle) Dalton. Predeceased by her son Donald "Bud" Powers of Brockville, she will be sadly missed by his wife Shirley Powers and their children David Powers, Deanno Tyo, Shelley (Steve) Martel and 13 great-grandchildren. Edna was also predeceased by sisters Ida Wallace, Isabelle Gallipeau, May Brown, Leana Taylor, Bertha Brown, Wilma Vandusen and brothers Herb, George and Jack Cornell. Lawrence Carriere - July 12, 1931 - June 01, 2004 - With his family by his side, Lawrence Carriere, beloved husband of Gladys (nee Kerruish) passed away peacefully at the age of 72 years. Lawrence is predeceased by his parents William and Evangéline, and brothers Ed (Carmelle), Leo and Albert. Mr. Joseph "Joe" Campbell - April 29, 1936 - June 07, 2004 - Born in Scotland on April 29, 1936. Passed away peacefully on June 7 with his family at his side. Joe’s love of life, golf and his family, he passed on to his son’s. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Nancy, their children John (Valerie) and Graham (Dianne), as well as his sister Jeanette (Norman). Joe is also survived by the grandchildren he adored, Trevor, Colin, Kelly, Leslie and Charlotte who all now have a guardian angel whose name they know. There will be no service as requested. Louise R. Bateman HALIFAX, NS - Louise Rebecca Bateman, 87, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 7, 2004 at home, with her family in Halifax, NS after several bouts of respiratory disfunction. Louise was born March 4, 1917 at Grand Harbour, Grand Manan, N.B. She married in 1942 and left "her island home" to reside first in Shediac, then in Dorchester, Black's Harbour, and Fredericton, N.B. Since 1997 she has lived in Halifax, N.S. In 1954, she continued training as a home economics teacher and in 1955 she became head of the Home Economics Department at Eastern Charlotte Regional School in St. George, N.B. Three years later she went to teach at Black's Harbour High School. During the 13 years in Charlotte County she was an active member of Christ Church Anglican Church, Pennfield, NB and supported many extra curricular school activities. She also assisted her scout leader husband by being cook at Cub and Scout Camps at Lake Utopia. After moving to Fredericton in 1961, she opened her home to students for over 35 years. Many Canadian and International students attending Teacher's College or U.N.B. called her "Mrs. B." and found a home away from home - if they followed her rules. Her commitment to homemaking and flare for being creative, inspired many projects, ranging from carpentry to handicrafts. Adjusting to physical limitations was her biggest challenge in recent years. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Bateman Ellison and son-inlaw Robert Ellison of Halifax; two grand sons, Scott Ellison (Lynda Shoveller) of Halifax, NS, and Richard Ellison (Chilian Wong) of Edgewater, NJ; great grandchildren, Gregory, Claire, and Timothy Ellison of Halifax, NS, and Sabine Ellison of N.J.; brother-in-law, Bert and his wife Helen E. Bateman of Shediac, NB; sister-in-law, Peggy Hurley of Wells, Maine; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins in Worcester, Mass. She was predeceased in 2003 by her husband of 61 years, Stanley E. Bateman; her parents W. Scott and Margaret Wooster; of Grand Manan, NB; three brothers, Brentford of Wells, Maine, Frank and Douglas of Grand Manan, NB The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 16, 2004 at St Martin's-in-the-Woods Anglican Church, Shediac Cape, N.B. Vital Gaudet (1917-2004) l'Acadie Nouvelle - 11 octobre 2004 MEMRAMCOOK – À l’Hôpital régional Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont de Moncton, le samedi 9 octobre 2004, à l’âge de 87 ans et 11 mois, est décédé Vital Gaudet, domicilié à Saint-Joseph-de-Memramcook. Né a Saint-Joseph le 8 novembre 1917, il était fils de feu Willie Gaudet et de feu Henriette (Ouellet) Gaudet. Il laisse dans le deuil ses quatre soeurs: Alberta Gaudet et Rosa (feu Alcide) LeBlanc de Dieppe; Yolande (Raoul) Dionne de Moncton et Julianna (feu Aldoria) Gaudet; un frère, Hector (Elizabeth) de Memramcook. Il laisse également dans le deuil de nombreux neveux et nièces, petits neveux et petites nièces, pour qui il fut un exemple d’esprit éveillé, de lecteur et auditeur passionné des nouvelles de l’actualité. Vital était pour eux généreux de ses connaissances, de son temps et de ses biens. L’ont précédé dans la tombe six soeurs: Thérèse (feu André) Cormier, Marie (feu Joseph) et Béatrice (feu Walter) Gaudet, Henriette (feu Réal) Paquette, Jeanne-Mance (feu Euclide) Arsenault et Evangéline, enfant de 8 mois; trois frères: Louis (feu Alice), Jean (Exia) et Camille (Antoinette), l’attendaient dans l’au-delà. M. Gaudet était bien connu dans son milieu pour ses connaissances générales en histoire de l’Acadie et de la Vallée de Memramcook, pour ses amours de la botanique (il avait été un étudiant du frère Marie-Victorin, le fondateur du Jardin botanique de Montréal). Il avait un esprit créateur de projets impliquant la nature. Avant sa retraite, il avait été maître de poste à Saint-Joseph pendant 25 ans. La dépouille mortelle sera exposée au Salon funéraire Dupuis à Memramcook, le lundi 11 octobre, de 14h à 15h30, avant le départ du cortège vers l’église. Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Saint-Thomas-de-Memramcook, le lundi 11 octobre, à 16h. Le corps sera inhumé dans le lot familial au cimetière paroissial. Un goûter rassemblera la famille et les amis en l’honneur de Vital au sous-sol de l’église après les funérailles. Un don à l’Atelier l’Artisan de Memramcook ou pour la cause de béatification de mère Marie-Léonie en qui Vital avait une confiance sans limites, serait apprécié. Géraldine Lirette 1931 - 2004 GRAND-BARACHOIS, NB - Géraldine Lirette, 73, wife of Albénie Lirette, of Grand-Barachois, NB, passed away Friday, October 8, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born June 1, 1931 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Marie Anne (LeBlanc) Richard. She loved to quilt, sew, knit, and was a Grand-Barachois Lady Knight of Columbus member. Geraldine will be sadly missed by her loving family. Dot Archibald SALISBURY, NS - Dorothy (Dot) Catherine Archibald, 73, of Salisbury, NB, passed away Saturday, October 9 , 2004 at the Moncton Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Moncton she was a daughter of the late Frank and Ethel (Thomas) Blakney. Dot was a retired employee of Canada Post and in retirement she opened the doors of her home as the owner-operator of Salisbury Bed and Breakfast, where many a weary traveler enjoyed her hospitality. Dot had a zest for life which was evident to anyone who knew her. She taught country line dancing, created the Cadillac Ranch Dancers and was part of the Mud River Cloggers. She also operated the House of Clay Ceramics in her home. She will be sadly missed by her children, Wendy Taylor (Terry), and Ricci (Sandra) of Salisbury; grandchildren, Katie, Becky, Jenna, Alyson and Caleb. She is also survived by Connie Keating (Ricky) of Upper Coverdale, who she regarded as a daughter, and their sons Lucas and Markus; a beloved brother Fred (Spike) Blakney (Joan) of Salisbury; a nephew Trent Blakney (Nancy) and their sons, Rylan and Braden of Salisbury West; a niece, Heather Blakney of Calgary; a special friend for over 46 years, George Hurrie; and many good friends. Norma MacDonald SAINT JOHN, NB - The death of Norma Madeline MacDonald of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Simon MacDonald, occurred on Saturday, October 9, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, Norma was a daughter of the late William and Vivian (Matson) Burns. She is survived by one son, Bill (Margo) MacDonald of Ottawa, ON; two daughters, Vivian MacDonald (Steve Mitton) of Moncton and Cynthia (Bradford) Matthews of Saint John, NB; one brother, Malcolm Burns of Saint John, NB; one sister, Vivian Lunnin of North Bay, ON; six grandchildren, Angela (Derek) Colson, Heather MacDonald, Luke and Daniel Patterson, Ross and Scott Matthews; as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by six brothers, Arthur, James, Douglas, Bertram, Robert, and Gordon; and one sister, Marjorie. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424, with visiting on Monday, October 11, 2004 from 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from All Saints Church, 35 Park Avenue, Saint John on Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at 11 am. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. SANDERS, THORSTEN Thorsten Sanders of McKenzie Corner, husband of Muriel S. (Lewis) Sanders passed away at his home on Saturday, October 09, 2004, at the age of 69. In addition to his wife, Thorsten is survived by one daughter Nancy Mazerall (Brian) of Bedell Settlement; a son Gary (Rhonda) of McKenzie Corner; two sisters Berit Stokes of Woodstock and Merit Langin of Toronto, ON; a brother Harold Sanders of Lakeville; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Thorsten was predeceased by two brothers Torgrim and Ole Sanders; and a sister Marie Ralston. Although there will be no visiting time, relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service which will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 PM from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel, 815 Main Street, Woodstock. Rev. David Ferrell officiating. Interment will take place in the McKenzie Corner Baptist Cemetery.
