Mico Kovljenic December 01, 1913 - February 13, 2001 Peacefully at home with his family by his side, on Tuesday, February 13, 2001, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Grozda. Left to mourn are his dear children, Jela and her husband Svetko Cucuz, Momcilo and his wife Vojka and Nikola and his wife Robin. Predeceased by daughter Vesa. Devoted grandfather of Mico and wife Anica, Rada and husband Zeljko, Dragoljub and wife Ann, Milena, Radivoj, Mirjana. Predrag and wife Dragica, Tierney, Dillion and Connor. Dear great-grandfather of Kristina, Mirko, David and Marco. Also survived by sister Stoja Juric Yugoslavia and brother Lazo Sormaz. Predeceased by brothers Ilija and Mile. Mico was a founding member of St. Nicolas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, Holy Transfiguration Serbian Orthodox Monastery and retiree of Dofasco after many years of dedicated service. He will be sadly missed by all. The family will receive relatives and friends at the L.G. Le mariage a eu lieu le 2 juillet 1938. De cette union sont nés: Monique (feu André Gilbert), d'Asbestos, Jean-Claude, de Melbourne, Yvon, (Ghislaine Gagné), de Granby, Francine (MIchel Lemelin), de Danville, Nicole (Jacques Leroux), d'Asbestos, Bertrand, de Québec, Pierre (Raymonde Mathieu), d'Asbestos, Mario (Maryse Laplante), de Magog. Ils ont eu 16 petits-enfants et 23 arrière-petits-enfants. Yvonne est décédée le 4 octobre 2001, suivie de peu par Rosaire qui est décédé à Trois-Rivières, le 16 mars 2002. John Bidnock January 21, 1921 - September 17, 2003 82 Years, September 17, 2003 at Metropolitan Hospital. Loving husband of fifty-eight years to Joyce (nee Whitmore). Dear father of Linda Box and her husband Ian, Lorraine Janisse and her husband Al and John Wayne Bidnock and his wife Jane. Dear grandfather of Jason and Lorie Gregg, Aaron Gregg, Ryan Gregg, Sean Box, Heather Box, Scott and Jaime Janisse, Amanda Dagenais, Aline Dagenais, Bonnie-Lynn Morgan and great grandfather of Caitland, Joshua and Lacy. Dear brother of Mike Bidnock and his wife Helen. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Bella Bidnock. John served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1942 - 1945 and was an employee of the Canadian Bridge Company for 40 years. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #594. PLEASE NOTE: There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 19 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #594, 3920 Huron Church Line Road until the time of Memorial Service at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Samuel TRAVALE - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Samuel, in his 83rd year, at the Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, May 6, 2003. Predeceased by his wife Anne and will not be forgotten by his children, Gary and Luann Premock, Daniel and Karyn Premock, Donna Bertrand and Richard, Doreen Harrison and Ed, Mike Travale and Barbara, Debbie McCleary and John, Rick Travale and Rose, Delores Botzang and Dwight Travale. Survived by sisters, Elsie Monachello and Connie Shurek and brother, Fred and his wife Kay Travale. Samuel will also be missed by his 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Samuel was a member of the Macassa Bay Yacht Club. A Memorial Service will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL at 43 Barton Street East (at James) on Saturday, May 10, 2003 at 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place. George Lucky Tucker - Suddenly, at his residence on Saturday, May 3, 2003, at the age of 62. Beloved husband and best friend of Irene. Marie Anne Proulx (nee Hennen) 2003-09-24 After a brief but valiant fight without complaint and like the true lady she was Marie (age 63) lost her battle to cancer. Predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Cliff (2000). Devoted and dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Lorna, Clifford Jr. and Lisa. Cherished nana of Matthew and Danielle McGrath, and Kyle (Sunshine) and Victoria (Peanut) Proulx. Daughter of Winnifred (deceased) and Albert Hennen. Sister to Ed, Marilyn, Fred, Leslie, Florence, Gloria and Barbara and their spouses, and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Will be greatly missed by special friends Betty and Al and Eleanor, Marie will be missed by her co-workers at Sears (Centre) where she was employed for over 31 years. Marie touched many people in special ways throughout her life. She was a friend in every sense of the word and will be missed by so many. The world has lost a shining star but our mom left a piece of her brightness in all who knew her. Special thanks to the CCAC (Martin) and VON nurses Nuala, Sue, Debbie for all their help in making our mother comfortable in her last days. Pauline Anna Florence Trueman (née Robertson) January 27, 1922 - December 31, 2003 Surrounded by her loving family our mother, grandmother (Gr) & Great-Grandmother passed peacefully into God's loving arms at the Grace General Hospital. She will be loved and remembered by her daughters Anne, Jacquie (Howard) Noble, Nikki (Bob) Bertrand; grandchildren Patrick, Leigh, Michelle J., Shannon (Wayne) Kowalski, Rob (Michelle L.), Michelle I., Anthony and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren Jessica, Linnae and Isaiah. She will be especially missed by all her "furry relations". Pauline was predeceased by her husband Jack, mother Selma and her favorite uncle, Harry. Mom was born and raised in Charleswood where she attended St. Mary's Anglican Church. At the end of the Second World War she met her husband Jack, moved to England where she married and lived for several years before moving back to Canada. She worked at the IOOF Home in Charleswood for many years up until her retirement. Mom was also a lifetime member of the Charleswood Historical Society and the Ingolf Camper's Association. Pauline came from a family of diverse artists who nurtured her talent as a dancer. She also spent many hours in front of a canvas as she was a gifted painter. As well, Mom enjoyed many years with her family and friends at the cabin in Ingolf, Ontario. Gr was the family matriarch, the love she showed her family and friends, be they people or animals, was unconditional and she received nothing less in return. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of West Park Manor for the care and compassion they showed Pauline. As well we wish to thank the doctors, nurses and Chaplin services of Grace General Hospital for all their kindness and support. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Anglican Church, 3830 Roblin Boulevard with Reverend Gordon Dixon presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pauline's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R2R 1X3 or the charity of their choice.
