Bouchard, Maurice April 6, 1922-August 6, 2004 The family announces with great sorrow the sudden death of Maurice Bouchard. Maurice was predeceased by his wife Yvonne (née Charbonneau) in 1968 and son Daniel in 2003. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Leo (Angeline) of Ramore, Micheline (Marcel) of Calgary and Yves (Claire) of Ramore. Maurice will be sadly missed by his 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many friends and acquaintances. STUBBE, Francine Rollande - Francine Rollande Stubbe passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Center on Thursday, August 5th, 2004 at the age of 43 years. Her memory will be cherished by her two sons, Jamie and Kurt, daughter Jennica, their father Don Stubbe, as well as grandson Dylan. Francine is also survived by her mother Marge Rempel, her 3 brothers, Michael (Karen), Norman and Claude Lefebvre, as well as two sisters, Helen (Frank) Popson and Joclyne (Dale) Doell. Her memory will also be cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her father Bernie Lefebvre as well as her grandparents. Francine was born and raised in Ontario and moved to Alberta in 1981 where at the time of her passing she was the Manager of Ben Moss Jewellers. She will be fondly remembered as a warm and friendly person with a courageous spirit. FERGUS, Althea Veronica. It is with great sadness that the Fergus family announces the passing of Althea on Thursday, August 5, in Brampton, Ontario at the age of sixty-nine after a courageous battle with cancer. The cherished wife of Cyril; adored mother of Ranee (Chambers), Ian, and Gregory; proud grandmother of Alexandra, Benjamin, Sarah and Keith; beloved sister of Mabel, Donald, Mary, the late Reginald and the late Herman. Althea was born in Lucea, Jamaica. She attended Rusea's High where she passed her Senior Cambridge exams. After working a number of years for the Jamaican Agricultural Society, Althea immigrated to Canada (Montreal) where she met and married her husband Cyril in 1961. A student, secretary, volunteer, loving wife and mother, Althea was known for her quick wit, frankness, strong will, generosity and courage. On retirement, Althea and Cyril moved to Brampton after 37 years in Montreal. Esteemed by family and friends, Althea will be keenly missed. McGILL, Louise Adina (nee Grant). January 9, 1902 - July 27, 2004. Mrs. McGill (Aunt Lou) passed away peacefully at the Lasalle General Hospital on July 27, 2004 at the age of one hundred and two years, with her beloved daughter Eileen by her side. CLARKE, Angus Lawrence C.D. WWII Veteran Retired Revenue Canada Peacefully in hospital on Sunday, August 8, 2004 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Clarke (nee Hamilton). Loving father of Heather Watt (Rob), Robert and Thomas. Cherished grandfather of Kathryn (Darren), Gregory, Jennifer, Christopher and Stephanie. Survived by sister Mary Hansen. Born on Minister's Island, New Brunswick, Angus rose to the rank of Flight Lieutenant with the R.C.A.F., and served as a pilot overseas attached to the R.A.F. during WWII. Following the war, he served as a member of 2416 AC & W Squadron, Ottawa. Angus retired from Revenue Canada after 33 years of service. Private committal service at Pinecrest Cemetery. Laurent "Larry" Marcoux June 25, 1926 - August 06, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Desjardins Funeral Chapel LAURENT (LARRY) MARCOUX It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Laurent G. Marcoux on Friday, August 6, 2004 at the St. Boniface Hospital, after a lengthy illness. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 50 years, Jacqueline, and five children: Laurent Jr. (Lise), Michel (Cheryl), Jocelyne (Serge), Alain and Guy. He will also be remembered by his sister Blanche Sicotte, his sister-in-law Marcelle and his brothers Omer (Jeanne) and Lucien (Thérèse). He dearly loved his grandchildren, Pierre, André, Manon, Joelle, Philippe, Tomas, Tessa, Dominique, Janelle and Maxime. His greatest joy was family life at the cottage on Falcon Lake surrounded by the laughter of the grandchildren. He was deeply committed throughout his life to community service, with a keen interest in health and education. He was a charter member of the Cancer Foundation of Manitoba and served on the Advisory Board of the St. Boniface Hospital. He was Chairman of the St. Boniface and Misericordia Schools of Nursing. He served for a number of years as a member of the School Board for the St. Boniface School Division and was a Director of the Family Bureau of Winnipeg. He made a significant contribution to the French-speaking community of Manitoba, serving as President of the Association des Commissaires d’écoles françaises du Manitoba, as a Director of both CKSB la radio-française and the Fondation CKSB. He was also a founding member of the Club des hommes d’affaires de langue française du Manitoba. A lawyer, senior partner in the law firm of Marcoux, Bétournay, Labossière, he was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1969 and later appointed by Prime Minister Trudeau to the Board of Directors of the Central Mortgage and Housing Corporation of Canada. He was also an Honorary Life Member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 3158. He was husband, father, brother and friend: he will be remembered as a kind, loving and compassionate man. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson Society Canada – Manitoba Region, 204 - 825 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1M5.
