LAMBERGER, Johanna (Hansi). Passed away peacefully on July 4, 2004 in her ninety-fifth year. Predeceased by her devoted husband Bruno Lamberger and her adored brothers Dr. Willy Amtmann and Bernard Amtmann. Survived by her loving niece Eleni Amtmann of Toronto. An accomplished violist and tireless, inspiring chamber music organizer, she will forever be fondly remembered by her countless friends and admirers. She was a most ardent supporter of CAMMAC for many years and donations to CAMMAC would be a fitting memorial. Hansi requested cremation and no funeral. An Angel of Music has left us. Léo was also a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6468, a member of the Notre-Dame Golden Age Club, and an avid fisherman. WALTER WILBERFORCE PILGRIM Walter Pilgrim passed away suddenly June 30, 2004. He will be missed by his family and friends who knew him well for his love of Holy scripture and his friendly outgoing attitude. Walter was predeceased by a daughter, Patience (1980) and a son, Walter Jayr (2000). He is survived by Linda, his wife of 33 years; sons Jason, Matthew (Renee), Benjamin and Christian, daughter Elza, daughter-in-law Debbie and grandchildren Christina, Bronwyn and Raine. Walter’s well lived family scripture verse was, “Choose ye this day whom ye will serve, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15). It is with this life commitment to Christ and our hope of rising again that the family mourns, but not as those without hope.

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and friend. Born in London, England in 1928, Ian lived in Quebec from 1957 and for the past and best twenty years of his life, has called Knowlton his home. Beloved son of the late Lilian May Sawyer and Donald Ian Elliott (England). Ian was a graduate of the School of Architecture, City of Canterbury, and an Associate of The Royal Institute of British Architects (1953). He leaves Helene (Martijn), his devoted wife and friend of twenty-nine years, his three loving children, Sara, Mark and Elizabeth (Raymond) and his two adoring grandchildren Julia and Claire. Also left in England are his dear brother Bill (Margaret), his nieces Isabel and Ruth (John) and extended family. Ian will be fondly remembered for his kind heart, generous nature, love, laughter and a good story. He will be sadly missed by his family and those who had the privilege of knowing him. Jose "Joe" Lumbis Murillo December 19, 1945 - June 30, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Glen Eden Funeral Home (Winnipeg) It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected but peaceful passing of our beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend on Wednesday, June 30, 2004. Jose “Joe” Lumbis Murillo was born in Iriga City, Camarines Sur, Philippines, on December 19, 1945. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Education at Mabini Memorial College in Iriga City where he met Salve, his wife of 29 years. In May of 1977, he immigrated to Canada. He was predeceased by his parents Faustino and Jacinta; parents-in-law, Maxima and Ingracio, and brother Otilio. He is survived by his wife Salve; children Glenn, Daisy, Grant (wife Janis and beloved grand-daughter Alyssa Kiara), and Grace. He will be sadly missed by his surviving sisters Magdalena, Salome, and Rosario; nieces, nephews, and cousins in the Philippines, United States, United Kingdom, and Canada, as well as many of his close friends. Known as a gentle, loving, and kind soul, Joe was a devoted family man with a unique sense of humor. As a hardworking individual, Joe was a valuable employee at Holy Family Nursing Home for 25 years. He was an active member of the Bicol Association of Manitoba, Penafrancia and Cenacle Prayer Groups, and he served as a Eucharistic minister for St. Edward’s Roman Catholic Church. He enjoyed singing, playing guitar, and watching hockey and boxing. Lamay will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. on Thursday July 8 and Friday July 9 from 6:00 pm to 12:00 am. Prayers will be at 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm on both nights. Mass of Catholic Burial will be held at St. Edward’s Roman Catholic Church, 818 Arlington St. on Saturday, July 10 at 10:30 am with Fr. Vic Tungolh officiating. Interment will take place at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens followed by a reception. Leduc, Trudi Lee - APRIL 20, 1950 - JUNE 11, 2004 - The family of Trudi Lee LeDuc (Ponton) announce with great sorrow her sudden death which took place in Bengough, Saskatchewan on June 11, 2004. Born in Dryden, Ontario she was the daughter of the late William (Bill) and Florence Ponton (Davies) of Ignace, Ontario. Following high school she attended Lake of the Woods School of Nursing in Kenora, Ontario where she obtained a position as Licensed Practical Nurse. Trudi then moved on to Thunder Bay and worked as a nurse until a back injury caused her to give up her nursing career. Trudi loved to write poetry and spent many hours doing this. She was an avid bowler and loved to curl and water ski. She loved her cats dearly and always tried to help any strays in need. Trudi is survived by her son Glen James (Jamie) LeDuc, (Renea) and grandsons J.D. and Michael of Thunder Bay. Brother Bill and sister-in-law pat of Thunder Bay. Brother Ken and sister-in-law Melda (Feathers) Ponton of Thunder Bay. Sister Joyce and brother-in-law Bud of Marathon, Ontario. Nephews Bill Ponton Jr. of Petawawa, Ontario currently in Iraq. TAIT, Honor, At home in the presence of her family, Honor Tait, in her 93rd year, died peacefully on Sunday, July 4. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jack (John Robert) and survived by her four children. Dear mother of Patricia Tait of Port Colbor ne and her companion Mac, John Robert (Bob) and his wife Denise of Franklin, PA, Brian and his wife Sandra of Arnprior, and Carol Lombardi and her husband Gino of Aurora. Dear grandmother to 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Honor was bor n near Newcastle on May 21, 1912 and emigrated to Canada in 1928 with her parents and six brothers and sisters. One of the oldest active members of the Fenwick United Church, she had been involved with the choir, the quilter's guild, the U.C.W. and w as an avid baker of cookies and pies for every occasion. Her love of gardening frequently provided roses for the pulpit. Honor has been a resident of Fenwick for the past 51 years and will be missed by her many friends and neighbours. The family wish es to express their sincere gratitude to all those who compassionately provided care and support both to Honor and her family over the past weeks of illness. She will be resting at the LAMPMAN FUNERAL HOME, 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick with visitation f rom 2-4 and 7-9 on Tuesday, July 6. JAMES MICHAEL COLTON 1919 - 2004 The family announces with great sorrow his death on Saturday July 3, 2004 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by his wife Rose Colton in 2000. Survived by his children Timothy (Pat) Colton of Wellesley, Mass., Daniel (Millie) Colton of Sudbury, Thomas (Astrid) Colton of Sudbury, Michael (Yasmine) Colton of Toronto and Catherine (Stephen) Kidd of Timmins, his grandchildren Patricia-Anne (Paul) Kurdyak, David Vachon, Matthew Colton, Brendan Colton, Katie Colton, Robert Colton, Lindsay Kidd, Sarah Colton and Benjamin Kidd, his 2 great-grandchildren Robert and Laura Kurdyak. He was also predeceased by his sister Brigitte Colton and his brothers Peter and William Colton. Jim moved to Timmins in 1931 and married Rose Spooner in 1946. He became a well-respected accountant and businessman, co-owning the Music Box furniture store and later working as Office Manager for Hugh J. O’Neill Mine and Mill Supplies. He was deeply committed to and involved with Nativity Parish, O’Gorman High School and the Lord’s Kitchen. Jim loved his family deeply and together with his wife Rose they raised their five children and maintained a deep devotion to their faith. He lived to appreciate nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. For all those who had an opportunity to meet and know Jim he was a quiet, honest and warm-hearted man. Truly a “gentleman.” He will be sadly missed.

Devoted and fun-loving "Auntie Skip" of Anne Kingsbury, David Kingsbury (Sophie), Jane Patterson (Roy), Nancy Gallagher (Jim), Debbie Carpenter (Ian), Peter Kingsbury (Cami), Michael Kingsbury, Kathy Constantine (Steve), Kristy Seguin (Mark), Michael Keogh (Glenna), Mary Rankin, Bill Rankin (Karen Lara), Eileen Inrig, Cathy Merkel (Paul) and 20 great-nieces and nephews. Marg was a caring and generous person who spent her early career Nursing in Canada and on the island of Dominica. She served the people of St. Vincent with Scarboro Foreign Missions from 1982 to 1983. In 1996, Marg graduated from Regis College at the U of T., with a Masters degree in Ministry and Spirituality, and began her new calling as a team member of the Hannon-Shields Centre for Leadership and Peace (Centre for Creative Ministries) in Toronto. Marg continues to give through the gift of organ donation. Marg was a supportive and loved friend to many in Canada, the U.S., England, the Caribbean, and Belgium, and missed her canine friend, Buster. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the Emergency Department and the Doctors, nurses and entire staff of the I.C.U. at the Ottawa Civic, for their outstanding care and compassion.
