CARNIELLO, Janet Gianna (nee Fedat) Carniello, Janet Gianna (nee Fedat) deceased Wednesday, June 30, 2004. Beloved wife of Iginio, loving mother of Norman (wife Elisabeth) of London, and Darren (wife Kim) of Sudbury. Loving Nonna of Trevor, Jason, Tyler and Alexander. Janet was born in Pianzana, Treviso, Italy on June 11, 1943. She immigrated to Canada in 1951 with her family and settled in Coniston. She attended catholic school in Coniston and graduated from Marymount College. Janet was married in September 1961 and moved to Sudbury, where she made her home. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and the outdoors, but most of all she loved her family especially her four grandsons. She was an active member of St. Patrick's church, the Catholic Women's League, the Caruso Club Auxiliary, the rate payers group of Walford Road, and the Sudbury Horticultural Society. Beloved daughter of Giovanni Fedat (predeceased 1993) and mother Maria Fellet. Loving sister of Gabriella predeceased in 1989 (husband Richard Kaliczak), brother Ottavio 'Tav' (wife Carol) and sister Margherita 'Marg' (husband Gord Munro) all from Sudbury. Greatly missed by many Uncles, Aunts, nephews and nieces in Canada, Italy, Belgium and Argentina. CAMPBELL, Robert "Rob" Delard In loving memory of Robert "Rob" Delard Campbell, 69 years, who passed away Wednesday morning, June 30, 2004 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital-St. Joseph Health Center. Beloved Husband of Marg Campbell (Wright) of Copper Cliff, loving father of Jennifer (husband Bruno Michel) of Sudbury and Rob (wife Erica) of Ottawa. Cherished grandfather of Kyra, Cassia and MacKenzie. Dear son of Lawrence and Theresa Campbell, both predeceased. Dear brother of Vince (wife Shirley) of Lively, Vivien (husband Lloyd Taylor) of Parry Sound and Clayton (wife Ruth) of Beeton. Born in Parry Sound, Rob possessed a passion for education and, while working full-time, obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from McMaster University and a Master of Education degree from the University of Toronto. He was a principal with the Sudbury Board of Education, proudly serving many years at Copper Cliff Public School, and retiring in 1994 after 32 years of dedication. He was a man who lived his faith everyday and was an active member of All Nation's Church. Rob was an avid volunteer with amateur sport, and through a lifetime of commitment to young athletes, rose to the positions of President of both Swim Ontario and Swim Canada. In 2003, Rob was inducted into the Ontario Aquatic Hall of Fame. He enjoyed curling and cherished time at his camp on Honora Bay on majestic Manitoulin Island. Rob was a selfless and giving man who, through his love and strength, enriched the lives of all those blessed with knowing him. Sylvestre, Marcial In loving memory of Marcial Sylvestre, 64 years, who passed away Tuesday morning, June 29, 2004 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital-Laurentian Site. Marcial was born in Lavigne in 1940. He married Claudette Tremblay in 1963. Marcial had been employed by Falconbridge for 30 years, retiring in 1997. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but his family was his main love and focus in life. He was proud of his 7 granddaughters with whom he shared a special bond. Marcial will be missed by his family, but leaves to them special memories and a legacy of love and laughter. Beloved husband of Claudette (Tremblay) Sylvestre of Chelmsford. Ernst “Walter”Hoehle Hoehle - The Hoehle family announces with sorrow the death of Walter at the age of 66. Walter was born on July 29th, 1937 in Kassel West Germany. Was a resident of Kirkland Lake since1957. He passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer at the Kirkland & District Hospital on June 25th, 2004. Walter worked as a diamond driller for Heath and Sherwood, Redpath and Longyear. Walter was known best for his carpentry and cabinet making. He was predeceased by his parents Anna (Stien) and Ernst Hoehle, sister Hildegard Eckhart from Germany. He is survived by his sons Stephen (Kelly Black) of Milton ON.,Bernhard wife Wendy of North York, ON., and Jeffrey of Kirkland Lake, ON. Also survived by his grandchildren Zachary Hoehle and Jordyn MacDonald of Milton ON. Also survived by brother Helmut wife Marianne and sister Waltraud husband Hans Baron, brother-in-law Willie Eckhart all of Germany. Niece Birgit Hoehle of Germany and nephew Andy Baron and children, Andreas and Martina of New Liskeard, ON., and his little dog Jersey. In keeping with Walter’s wishes, his human remains have been cremated and his ashes will be interred in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery.

JESSIE MARIE MAURER Maurer - It is with sorrow that the family announces the passing of Jessie Marie Maurer at the Kirkland and District Hospital on Monday, June 28, 2004, at the age of 65. Predeceased by husband Clarence Maurer. Jessie is survived by her children Gloria (Dennis) Murray, Basil Maurer, Gordon Maurer, Darcy (Paula) Maurer, and Philip Maurer. Lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandsons. She is also survived by her brother Roy (Jennien) Meaniss and her sister Emaline (Glen) McPherson as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. JOHN (JACK) WILLIAM BRITTON Britton - Jack Britton lost his soul on May 30, 2004 after bypass surgery and was called home on June 26, 2004 at the Kirkland & District Hospital at the age of 45 years. Jack was the beloved husband of Lori and loving dad of Tyler and Samantha. He will be missed by his siblings Rick, Jim (Nicole), Kim and Randy (Teresa); step mother Sharlene; Aunt June (Robert) Tapp of Newfoundland and Uncle Gord Keyes of Mississauga as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his parents Marg and John Britton of Toronto. Jack was the President of the Union Veteran Affairs Employees Ontario Region.

Laura was born in Dublin in 1939. She immigrated to Canada in 1959 with her husband, Leslie, and together they made a wonderful life for themselves and their family. Laura was an avid ‘soccer Nan’. She enjoyed travelling the world to visit her family but her true love was her grandchildren who brought joy to her life everyday. There is now a hole in our hearts that we will try to fill with her love and memories. The family would like to extend a special thank you to The Most Reverend John A. O’Mara, Monsignor Raymond Montague, the nurses of the ICU at The St. Catharines’ General Hospital and all friends and family for their care and compassion over the last few weeks. HORNE, "Bill," Wm, Boyce In loving memory of William Boyce Horne, 48 years of Garson, who passed away Wednesday evening, June 30, 2004 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital-Laurentian Site. He was born in Parry Sound and married Debbie (Geryk). Bill came to Sudbury at age 6 from Parry Sound. He had been a truck driver for many years. An avid curler he also enjoyed the comraderie of men's league baseball team in Garson. Bill loved life and lived it to the fullest. Always the life of the party he generously shared his wonderful sense of humour and he was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. Bill defined the best qualities of friendship of helping others and being there for others. Although denied a quantity of life his quality of life touched many. Omer était un bon chanteur et il aimait jouer sa guitar, sa musique à bouche ainsi que le piano.
