COULOMBE, Michael Joseph Michael Joseph Coulombe was born September 27, 1942 in Ottawa, ON. Michael passed away on Monday, May 10, 2004. He is survived by his loving children, Tania and Brent; his sisters Mary Anne of Saskatoon, SK and Patricia of Ottawa, ON; his brothers, Peter, Jeff, Robert and Mark, of Ottawa, ON. He was predeceased by his parents, Alice and Joffre, and by his sister Denise. Michael was stationed with the R.C.M.P. in many parts of Alberta, and retired in 1984 as the Member in Charge of the St. Albert Detachment. He was very active as a volunteer coach in several sports and executive groups. He touched the lives of many people, and will be missed. We love you Dad. LATOUR, Jessie Lillian October 18, 1917 - May 10, 2004 In loving memory of our mother Jessie Latour of Calgary, beloved mother to Mervin (Cecelia) Reddick of Calgary, Sandy (Dave) Stuart of Salmon Arm, B.C., Garry Latour of Calgary and Ed (Roxanne) of Raymond, Alberta. She was blessed with twenty grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by five sisters, Marge, Nelda, Ethel, Barbara and Rita. Jessie was born in Calgary and grew up in the Turner Valley area. She later moved to Calgary where she married Joseph Latour, April 30, 1948. They moved into their home in West Hillhurst where they raised their ever growing family. Mom was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to all her family. She enjoyed her time when the family would gather, especially for her open house on Christmas Eve. She always enjoyed when someone would stop by to see her, especially her grandchildren, Paul and Jennifer. Mom loved her yard and was an avid gardener. She was an active member of The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 264 and a member of the West Hillhurst Go-Getters. Later Mom decided to move to Salmon Arm, B.C., to be closer to her daughter Sandy and her family. After seven years in Salmon Arm, Mom moved yet again to be close to her youngest son, Ed and his family. At the time of her passing she was a resident of the Ridgeview Lodge in Raymond, Alberta. Jessie was predeceased by her husband Joseph Latour; stepson Joe Latour; sisters, Ruth Potyok, Marie Fisher, Isabell Lepp; and her only brother Maurice Nesbitt. HUBERT, Captain Harry Edward, Went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on May 8, 2004 after a valiant battle with cancer. Born in Dalhousie, New Brunswick on April 20, 1923. Son of the late Harry Jack and Florine Hubert, husband to the late Ruthe B ernice (Hoffmeyer) 1973. Father of Laura Blythe Hubert Swallow and father to (Lisa) Ruth Elise Taylor (Tim). Survived by four grandchildren. Brother to David Hubert of Chrlo., N.B. and sisters, Mary Elise Caldwell of Campbelton, N.B. and Isobel A. Bi sson of Port Daniel, West Quebec. Predeceased by brother Allison Hubert of Fredericton, N.B. Harry was employed by the St. Lawrence Seaway Authority, Great Lake Pilotage. He held a Certificate, Master of Foreign going Steamship, he provided relief se rvice to various shipping lines: Kentline, Irving Oil, and Desgagnes Groupe. The following campaign stars and medals were instituted in recognition of service in the Second World War, 1939-45 (Battle of Britian), Atlantic Star, Burmar Star, Canadian Volunteer Service Metal (Dieppe Raid Battle of Hong Kong) and War Medal 1939-45. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, your support to the Canadian Cancer Society in finding a cure for cancer would be greatly appreciated. Special thanks t o the professionals Dr. D.
