Elspeth is survived by two sons; Bill and Bonnie, McGregor Brook, Dale and Sarah, Pearsonville, one daughter; Sue and Bob Shannon, Douglas, NB, seven grandchildren; Brent and Lori, and Randy and Janet Crealock, Sheri, Sonya and Robbie Shannon, Melissa and Adam Crealock, great grandson; Colin Crealock, sister Jean and Ron Ness, Belleisle Creek, brothers; George and Pauline Muir, Berwick, Mansel and Yvonne Muir, Belleisle Creek, Maurice and Rose Muir, Connecticut, several nieces and nephews. She is survived by her husband John of 47 years and four children, Barry, Larry, Linda, Tony and their partners. Also seven granddaughters; one grandson and one great-grandson. She will also leave behind her brothers, Hector and Oscar and three sisters, Marian, Therese, Anne, and extended family. Born in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Kate (Steeves) Steeves. Iris was a member of the Dover Baptist Church and was a retired employee of the T. Eaton Company. ALBERTA PELLETIER Peacefully, on Monday, March 8, 2004 at the Park Manor Personal Care Home, Alberta Pelletier, our beloved mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 96 years. Allie leaves to cherish her memory and will be sadly missed by her only daughter Lynne (George) Jette; her four grandsons, Chris, Trevor (Bonnie), Philip (Lynn) and Jamie; her two great-grandchildren, Madison and Michael. She also leaves to mourn her sister Renee and family. She was predeceased by her husband Adelard; and sisters, Thelma, Grace; and brother Gordon Whitaker. Allie's grandsons were her greatest source of joy. She felt a special pride in being "Grandma". Beloved husband of Jeannine Lamothe (née Houle) of Dowling. Loving father of Fernand Lamothe, André Lamothe (wife Cindy) and Lise Castilloux (husband Gilles) all of Dowling. Dear brother of Albert Lamothe (wife Maureen) of Welland, Ovila Lamothe (wife Claire) of Walford, Gertrude Laplante (late Evans) of McKerrow and Jeannette Lacasse (husband Arthur) and Jean-Paul Lamothe (wife Evelyne) both of Espanola. Predeceased by his sister Thérèse Polden (husband Ted of Welland), and by his brother Raymond (late Annette). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Russell, Mathew, Christopher, Carrie-Ann and Daniel. Mr. Lamothe was retired from Falconbridge Mines, after several years of service. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, council 10801, Dowling and as well, member of the Elks Club for 42 years. Georges, an avid bowler, was a member of the Thursday Afternoon Mixed league in Azilda and also a member of the Onaping Falls Golden Age Club league. A former hockey player with the Onaping Falls Old Timers, he was a die hard Montreal Canadian Fan. Georges enjoyed his camp and watching the Ringuette games. John O'Brien John O'Brien, 91, of Veterans Health Centre, Moncton, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at the Centre where he resided. Born November 17, 1912 in Moncton, he was the son of the late William O'Brien,and the late Ann Delaney. He was employed with CN before his retirement. John was also a veteran of WWII, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Moncton Branch #6, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was the last survivor of his immediate family.
