He is survived by his loving wife, Julia; three sons and four daughters, Lester (Lucy), Julian, Sandra (Paul), Mary (Jason) and Jennifer (Randy) all of Saddle Lake, Leo of St. Paul and Judy (Tom) Morin of Enoch; 20 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters, Wilfred of Edmonton, Dennis (Eva), Jimmy (Patricia), Rachel (Tom) and Rhoda (Finlay) Moses all of Saddle Lake & Charlotte (Joe) of Edmonton; three sisters-in-law, Margaret Gauthier of Calling Lake, Marie Cardinal of Regina and Lorraine Cardinal of Saddle Lake; also numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sons, Patrick & Charles; one granddaughter, Angel; parents, Charles and Elizabeth; two brothers, Russell and George and one nephew, Larson Cardinal. DORAY, Emma Agnes December 9, 1914 - January 17, 2004 On January 17, 2004, Emma Agnes Doray of Edmonton passed away at the age of 89 years. Emma was the youngest and last member of her family. She was predeceased by her parents Polidore and Corinne; brothers Leo, Rene, Armand, and Joe; sisters, Laura, Lea and Rose. She was employed for thirty - two years with the city of Edmonton, and the founder and original president of the Society of Retired Civic Employees. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and sister-in-law Bernice Doray of the Isle of Mann. A special thanks for the care and compassion she received from Dr. G. Graveline, Paul - Suddenly at the Port Colborne General Hospital on January 19, 2004 in his 57th year. Loving companion of Evelyn Bellinger. Beloved godfather of Stacey Bafaro (Phil). LABBÉ, Gertie (Frappier) (nee Langdon) In loving memory of Gertie (Frappier) Labbé (nee Langdon), 87 years, formerly of Griffith St. in Sudbury, who passed away Sunday evening, January 18th, 2004 at the Elizabeth Centre, Val Caron. Gertie was born and raised in Blezard Valley having lived her life in the Sudbury area. A devout Roman Catholic she had attended St. Eugene's Church in healthier days. She had enjoyed travelling with her husband. An excellent cook she will be remembered for her delicious buttertarts. Gertie made beautiful bedspreads which are treasured by her family. Always a determined and strong willed woman she was a loving and devoted mother and memere. Beloved wife of William Frappier (1963) and Jean-Paul Labbé (1983) both predeceased. Edward ( Eddie) J. Hebert Edward (Eddie) J. Hebert, 83, of Brentwood Dr. and formerly of Villa Heritage, Moncton passed away at The Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital on Sunday, January 18, 2004. Born in Moncton, son of the late Tilmon and Jeanne (Cormier) Hebert. Eddie was retired from Marven's Ltd. with 25 years service and for the last 15 years Eddie made the rounds as a walker at Champlain Mall. He was a member of Moncton Legion # 6 and Veteran of the 2nd World War, served in Canada and overseas in Great Britain and Continental Europe with the Canadian Army 2nd Corps 19th Canadian Field Regiment (1943-46). Eddie enjoyed watching all types of sports especially baseball and hockey. MONIQUE PREFONTAINE 1941 - 2004 It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Monique at her home on Saturday, January 17, 2004. Monique will be lovingly remembered by her husband Gilbart Laurencelle; son Troy Milne (Sheri) and granddaughter Miranda; Lisa Laurencelle (James) and grandchildren, Oliver and Charlotte; Daniel Laurencelle (Susan). Life was her passion, always living it to its fullest. She had a love for gardening, as well as entertaining, cooking, redecorating, and most importantly, enjoying her time with her grandchildren.
