Limerick of Windsor Court, Fredericton, the wife of the late Arthur McFarlane Limerick occurred on Sunday, November 9th, 2003 in her 97th, year. Born in Fredericton, she was the daughter of the late Alexander (Sandy) and Jennie (Sinclair) Fleming. As well as her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one daughter Susan, one sister Martha Limerick and one brother Jack Fleming. Helen was a Charter member of the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and very active until recent years. She had also been an active member of the Victor Hatheway Chapter IODE and the Hospital Auxiliary at the Victoria Public Hospital as well as being involved in other volunteer work. She is survived by two daughters, Ann Oldham (Gilbert) of Jemseg and Sheila Limerick of Toronto; three grandchildren, Kathy Isnor (Jim) of Halifax, NS, Bob Oldham (Pam) of London, ON, and Roger Oldham (Krista) of Quispamsis, NB; four greatgrandchildren, Morgayne and Braden Isnor, and Hunter and Taylor Oldham; three nieces, Tee Humphrey (Frank), Elizabeth Shaw and Jane Trenholm; one nephew John Limerick. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 12, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-8 pm. McCOOL, James Francis Patrick - Died on November 10, 2003, Peterborough, Ontario at the age of 77. Survived by his loving wife Jean; his children Sean (Victoria), Brian (Jamestown, N.C.), Gael (Vancouver), Kerry (Peterborough), Dennis (Whitby) and Douglas (Ottawa); ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; his sisters Sister Ann Marie McCool (Convent of The Good Shepherd in Toronto), Lorraine Tischart (Beamsville) and brother Joseph (Toronto); predeceased by his sisters Mary Rudden and Theresa Howard. Jim had a life-long interest in aviation. He joined the R.C.A.F. and served as a Flight Engineer and Air Gunner on Coastal Command during W.W. II. After retirement from the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce he dedicated his time as a volunteer at the Alberta Aviation Museum, where he became President and a member of the Board Of Directors for some years. He was also President of the West Edmonton Senior's Association and served on the Boards of a number of community organizations. CROUSE, ROBERT GORDON The death of Robert Gordon Crouse of Fredericton, husband of Marie (Jewett) Crouse occurred on November 10, 2003 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton. Born in Marysville, NB, he was a son of the late Ashley Crouse and Jean (Peterson) Brown. He worked for the City of Fredericton in the Water and Sewage Department and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4, Fredericton. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Melvin (Carol) Crouse of Fredericton; one grandson, Troy Crouse (Jackie) and one great grandson, Anthony Crouse; one step-son, Stephen Bagnell of Fredericton; one step-daughter, Shanon Bagnell of Fredericton; one brother, Melvin (Vena) Crouse of Lower Hainesville; two sisters, Eva Harris (Bill) of Ajax, ON And Donna Hall of Orangeville, ON; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Crouse was predeceased by two brothers, Gerald Peterson and Murray Crouse. FitzGERALD, JAMES E. - The death of James E. FitzGerald, C.A., husband for 53 years of Miriam A. (MacDonald) FitzGerald, occurred suddenly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, November 10, 2003. Jim was born on June 26 , 1919 in Saint John, N.B., a son of the late Francis B. and Lillian B. (Flaherty) FitzGerald. He served with the R.C.A.F. from 1939 to 1945. Jim had been employed as an Internal Auditor with Revenue Canada for over 25 years until his retirement in 1974. Following retirement, he continued in private practice for a number of years. Jim was an Honourary Life Member of the Knights of Columbus and was a former member of the Rockwood Park Golf Club, the Sussex Golf Club, and the Thistle Curling Club. Jim and Miriam had wintered in Fort Myers Beach, Fla. for the past twenty years. He was a man of strong faith and patiently accepted the physical limitations of the past few years. He was the last surviving member of his family. He was pre-deceased by his brothers, J. Blake and Dr. Gerald FitzGerald. Besides his wife, Miriam, he is survived by his devoted daughter, Ann Marie FitzGerald of Calgary; two sisters-in-law, Helen Emery of Moncton and Jacqueline FitzGerald of Ottawa and their respective families. In Saint John, Jim was assisted and is survived by his nephew Bob and wife Karen FitzGerald and their family. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Friday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. MIDDLETON, LETA ANN - After a valiant struggle with cancer on Monday, November 10th, 2003, Leta Ann Middleton, of Cumberland Bay, went home to be with the Lord. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of LeRoy and Martha Middleton.
