Marie Nellie Gaudet 1912 - 2003 The death of Nellie Gaudet of Main Street Moncton occurred unexpectedly at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital on Thursday October 9th. Born November 15, 1912 in St Charles Kent Co. she was the daughter of the late Martin and Victoria (Robichaud) Robichaud. Nellie had been employed with the CNR for over 30 years retiring in 1976 from the accounting department in the "glass house". Nellie had been a member of the 31 Club, the Air Force Vets, the CN War Vets and she enjoyed playing darts. She is survived by her sons Gerald Gaudet of Dieppe and Leandre Gaudet of Campbellton; her daughters Geraldine Madison of Ontario and Imelda Moore of Riverview; grandchildren Tina Moore (Francis MacNeil), Tracy Lynds; Kimberley Gaudet and Kevin Gaudet (Andrea); great grandchildren Amanda MacNeil, Andrew Gaudet, Dylan, Allyssa and Alex Lynds as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Farris Beers in 1996; her brothers Alfred, Dan and Theodore and her sister Freda Ferguson. LINDSAY, ROBERT G.- The death of Robert Glenn Lindsay, of 144 Victoria Street, Saint John, husband of Holly A. (Macaulay) Lindsay, occurred unexpectedly on Thursday, October 9, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was the son of Pauline (Seely) Lindsay of Saint John and the late William I. Lindsay. Mr. Lindsay was employed with the Janitorial Services Department of the New Brunswick Community College for many years. He was a member of Local #1251. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, Murray Robert and John Glenn, one daughter, Shelley Dawn (Brendan Moore), all of Saint John, three brothers, William F. (Kathy), Terrance D. (Anna) and Dana D. (Karen) all of Saint John, five sisters, Carol L. Jackson (Wayne) of Saint John, Bonita M. Martin (Frank) of Hatfield Point, Dorita C. Lindsay, Darella D. Jackson and Melody L. Cole (Ronnie Olsen), all of Saint John, two grandchildren, Dominick Moore and Kayla Dawn Lindsay, mother-in-law, Audrey Macaulay of Saint John and several nieces and nephews. Ruth owned the Shootingstar Kennel, raising many champion Shih-Tzu's. Many of her dogs were certified St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs for hospital visitations. She was active in the St. Cath arines Kennel & Obedience Club; a member of the American Shih-Tzu Club; as well as membership co-ordinator for the Canadian Shih-Tzu Club. Bertha M. LeBlanc SHEDIAC, NB - Bertha Marie LeBlanc, 89, wife of the late Patrick LeBlanc (1949), of Villa Providence, Shediac, formerly of Moncton, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2003 at her residence. Born June 2, 1914 in Irishtown, she was the daughter of the late Philippe, and Marie-Anne (Cormier) Boudreau. Bertha was employed with Canada Post before her retirement. She is survived by her nine children: Evelyn Girouard of Moncton, Andrea Drummond (Dave) of Truro, Phyllis Cormier (Raymond) of Dartmouth, Billy (Jeannette), and Bobby (Betty) of Dieppe, Lenny (Linda) of Lakeville, Tommy (Nicky), Philippe (Linda), and Donald all of Moncton; 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two greatgreat-grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews. Besides her husband, she is predeceased by a sister Laura Arsenault; brothers: Blair, Leo, Buddy, and an infant daughter Anne-Marie. HOMUTH, Mary Jean Ann (nee Breau) Was born September 19, 1943 in Moncton, New Brunswick. She passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 8, 2003. Mary was a warm, wonderful woman who touched many lives by being herself. She was married to her best friend Tom, for 41 years. Mary's life was her family; she was not only a mother but a true best friend, cheerleader, and always knew when you needed her. She was predeceased by her parents and her younger brother Mark. Léonce A. LeBlanc CAP-PÉLÉ, NB - Léonce A. LeBlanc, 75, widow of Juliette LeBlanc (Doiron), of Cap-Pélé, NB passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on October 9, 2003 after a lengthy illness. Born on July 29, 1928, in HauteAboujagan, he was the son of the late Auguste LeBlanc, born in St-André and Yvonne Babineau, born in Haute-Aboujagan. He retired from the CNR in 1988 and attended Ste-Thérèse D'Avila, CapPélé Roman Catholic Church and was also a member of Club D'age D'or and was a volunteer fireman. J. Shirley Taylor HONOLULU, HAWAII - Age 76, passed away peacefully, at home on September 26, 2003. She was born May 16, 1927 in Nixon NB, daughter of Albert and Edna Hopper. She was reborn when she arrived with her husband in Hawaii in April 1969. She loved Hawaii and its people. Survived by her husband, Ronald F.Taylor; a sister Norma Goguen of Montreal; and a brother Robert Hopper of Salisbury. A brother Roy Hopper predeceased her as did her parents. Services were held at Star of the Sea Church on October 4, 2003. Ashes will be scattered at a later date.

GIROUX, Clement Sylvio On Thursday October 9, 2003, Clement Sylvio Giroux of Entwhistle, AB passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 74. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Viola (Vi), children, Lorne (Delores), Wayne, Corrine (Bob), Donna (Paul), Debby (Kevin), Darrel (Terry), Mark, Rhonda (Alan), 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren. A l'infirmerie de la Maison de Bromptonville, le 10 octobre 2003, est décédé le frère Albert Pelletier (Dacien), de la communauté des Frères du Sacré-Coeur. Il était âgé de 91 ans et 25 jours, dont 64 ans de vie religieuse. Outre ses confrères religieux, le frère Albert laisse dans le deuil sa belle-soeur Blanche-Hélène Pelletier, des neveux et des nièces. La dépouille mortelle sera exposée au Mont-Sacré-Coeur de Granby, le dimanche 12 octobre de 19 h à 21 h et le lundi 13 octobre de 9 h à 11 h. GEORGE COMEAU March 17, 1924-October 9, 2003 Suddenly on October 9, 2003 at the Victoria General Hospital, George Joseph Comeau passed away. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Mabel and their children, Mark (Darcy), Lois (Dale), Tim, Nancy (Anthony), Jac, Jerry (Terry) and Karen (Ben); and his daughter Carol (Clarence). He will be missed by his grandchildren, Brett, Hogan, Savanna, Tabitha, Jacey, Rachael, Tayla, Vanessa, Olivia, Tara, Teagan, Ellen, Natasha, Danielle, Claire, Madeline, and Gabriel. He was predeceased by his first wife Nellie; his parents Calixte and Germaine; his stepfather Arthur Wise; his twin sister Georgette; and brother Arthur. George was born in La Salle, MB, enlisted for the Second World War and spent three and one-half years in the Navy. After the war, he worked at the Manitoba Sugar Plant for 41 years and retired in 1989 as the Chief Power Plant Engineer. He liked to sail his boat when at his cabin at Falcon Lake with family and friends. He also enjoyed 12 years of retirement with Mabel in Whiterock, BC. George took great pride in his children and grandchildren, and returned to Winnipeg about a year ago to be closer to his family and friends. A special thanks to all the doctors and nurses who took care of him. Funeral services will be held at the Mary Mother of the Church, 85 Kirkbridge Dr., Tuesday, October 14 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George's name to the Victoria General Hospital Development Foundation, 2340 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB R3T 9Z9. LANDRY (Fortier), Helen Agnes With her family by her side Helen passed away peacefully on October 7, 2003. She was predeceased by parents Arfidoss and Elizabeth Fortier, special Aunt and Uncle Ernie and Elena Fortier, four brothers Melvin, Hector, Claude, Albert, and special friend Eileen LeBleu. ROY, Alfred Graham "Alfie"-78, Liverpool, died Thursday, October 9, 2003, in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Ralph and Gertrude (Christian) Roy. He was veteran of the Second World War serving in the army. He served in the merchant marine until his discharge on April 8, 1946. He worked at Bowater Mersey Pulp and Paper in the paper making department for 45 years until retirement. He also enjoyed collecting stamps and coins. He is survived by his wife, Annie Dagley; daughter, Pam (Reginald) Miller, Liverpool; sons, Michael (Sandra), Milton; Lance (Karen), Liverpool; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Myrna LeBlanc, Liverpool, Betty Steele, Kentville; brothers, Cyril (Barbara), Liverpool. He was predeceased by infant son, Ralph; brothers, Churchill, Frank, Donald, Jack, and Eldon. Visitation will be Sunday, October 12, from 7-9 p.m. in Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool.
