LAGACÉ - Soeur Pierrette Lagacé (Pierre-de-Jésus) des Soeurs de la Charité d'Ottawa, est décédée à Gatineau, secteur Hull, le 7 octobre 2003, à l'âge de 71 ans, dont 52 de vie religieuse. Elle était la fille de feu Wilfrid Lagacé et de feu Rosa Latour. Née à Hull, elle entra en religion le 1er août 1949 et fit profession le 16 juillet 1951. Outre sa famille religieuse, elle laisse dans le deuil ses frères et soeurs: Gaston, Guy, Georgette, Claudette, s.p., Maurice, Serge; un beau-frère, Gaston Gourgue (Georgette), des belles-soeurs, des nièces, un neveu et de nombreux amis. La dépouille mortelle reposera à la Maison mère, 9, rue Bruyère, Ottawa, le jeudi 9 octobre à compter de 16h. Une fille, Diane; un fils, Jean-Maurice, ainsi que deux frères: Jean et Edmond, l’ont précédée dans la tombe. Born in Calumet Island, Quebec. Son of the late Bernard McCart and the late Evelyn Robert. Ordained on June 15, 1958, Order of O.M.I. After 45 years of priesthood, he leaves to mourn his passing, his Oblates Brothers of Mary Immaculate of St. Peter's Province; his two brothers, Hilary of Hawkesbury and Michael (Lorraine) of Grenville; five sisters, Beatrice Lowe (late Emêmett) of Lachute, Genevieve Cahill (late Eric) of Campbell's Bay, Noreen Garland (late Trevor) of Hawkesbury, Teresa Moncrieff (late Gordon) of Ottawa, Anne Garland (Howard) of Grenville. Predeceased by two brothers, Robert (Laurette) of St-Eustache and Bernard (Louise) of Lachute, and one sister Hilda. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. She enjoyed country and western music and she was a keen fan of Tommy Hunter. Noella will be remembered as a happy go lucky person who had a great sense of humour. Née à Barachois le 11 septembre 1928, elle était fille de feu Benoît Lirette et de feu Basilice Doiron. Outre son époux, elle laisse dans le deuil sa fille, Florence Landry (Roland) de Cap-Pelé; quatre fils: Louis de Moncton, Donald (Viola) de Saint-Antoine, Guy (Chritiane) et Paul (Tanya), tous de Grand-Barachois; deux soeurs: Odélia Léger (Nazaire) de Shédiac et Élodie Pellerin (Roy) de Moncton; un frère, Gérard de Grand-Barachois, ainsi que dix petits-enfants: André, Michel, Crystal, Micheline, Paula, Justin, Tommy, Stéphanie, Venessa et Michelle. Un fils, Ronald, ainsi qu’un frère, Éloi, l’ont précédée dans la tombe. La dépouille mortelle est exposée à la Maison funéraire Frenette ltée, 396, rue Main à Shédiac (532-3297). Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Saint-Henri de Grand-Barachois, le jeudi 9 octobre, à 11h. L’inhumation se fera au cimetière paroissial. She was predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Edouard; son, Louis; brother, Jeremie. No funeral home visitation.
