CORMIER, Richard (Rick) J. F.C.A. "Fare thee well, love, fare thee well, love. Far away you must go. Take my heart love, take my heart love." Rick passed away suddenly on September 6, 2003, in Calgary. Rick will be deeply missed by his loving wife and lifetime companion Trudy, daughters Jody and Janie, son-in-law Ben and Granddad to his treasured granddaughter Bianca. Rick is also survived by his brother Father Paul Cormier, his sister Mary and brother-in-law Roger, sister-in-law Cathy and brother-in-law John. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Trina, Kary and Anthony Cousineau, Glen, Derek (Chantal) Crossley. Ricky loved and was loved by special family friends. He was predeceased by his parents Placide and Irene Cormier. Rick started his career in Montreal and relocated to Edmonton in 1974 with Clarkson Gordon. Rick became a partner with Ernst & Young in 1981 and became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1993. He was the managing partner of the Edmonton office until this spring. Rick was looking forward to his new responsibilities in Calgary and the ski hills of Banff. He will be missed by his partners and colleagues. Rick had a great dedication to his community and gave tirelessly of his time and energy to the causes he believed in. He was a mentor to many young people and there was always a warm welcome for anyone who walked through the front door. Dad loved music and loved to dance, nothing would get him out on the floor more than a good celtic reel. Rick had a real love of life, the world and people around him. He lived his life to the fullest. GAGNON Marie M. Passed away peacefully in the hands of her family on September 4, 2003 in Calgary at the age of 73 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
