WWII Captain Matron Registered Nurse Mrs. Georgette St. Georges, nee Brazeau, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, September 4, 2003 at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Aurele (Rex) St. Georges who died on March 24, 2001. Predeceased by her three brothers: Urgel, Lucien and Emile and by her three sisters: Rose Alba, Marie Ella and Marie. She is survived by her loving daughter Louise (Cosimo Cinanni) as well as by her dear grandchildren Stephane, Dominic and Danielle. The family wishes to express their gratitude to all the personnel of the Centre d'accueil Roger Seguin in Clarence Creek, who with their kindness and gentleness gave her comfort, well being and serenity in these last 21 months. DEGRACE, JOSEPH ADRIEN (ANDY) The death of Joseph Adrien (Andy) DeGrace occurred Thursday, September 4, 2003 on his 66th birthday at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Beaverbrook Station, Northumberland County and raised in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Amedee and Emilia (Boudreau) DeGrace. He will be deeply missed by his special friend Shirley Lamey of Stanley; two daughters, Lise O'Brien (Peter) of Edmonton, AB, Nicole Charters of Fredericton; one son, Marc (Penny) of Riverview, and their mother, Betty DeGrace, Fredericton; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Kelly, Jeremy and Branden; two brothers, Vernon (DesNeiges) and Alvin (Lorenda), Bathurst. Andy was predeceased by three brothers, Leo, Romeo and Raymond Andy was well known in the field of retail and wholesale jewellery having been employed by the firm A.I. Tower Ltd. of Bathurst for twenty years. He managed Tower Jewellers in Fredericton Mall for fifteen years. Although there will be no visitation, a memorial service will take place at 2 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2003 at St. Theresa's Church with Father John Jennings officiating. Rosaire was a former owner of Albert’s Hotel in Timmins, the Capitol House Hotel in Iroquois Falls and Gosselin Lumber Company in Hearst. At the family’s request, there was no visitation. FLINT, Theodore O. `Ted' Eveline Flint and Claude Flint sadly announce the death of their husband and father, on Wednesday, September 3, 2003, in his 61st year. After eight years of living fully despite cancer, Ted died peacefully and with excellent care from the medical team on duty in the Emergency Department at the Kingston General Hospital. Cynthia was blessed with unwavering courage, humour, strength, enthusiasm and determination - all of which she used in her 8-year battle with cancer. Her short but zestful life is marked by a brave and caring nature that impressed and inspired her family, friends and all those who came to know her. Dumont, Moncton on Wednesday, September 3, 2003 after a brief illness. Born in Bouctouche, NB on May 28, 1921, he was the son of the late Alfred Saulnier and the late Bibienne Dallard. He was a lumberman, and attended the Notre-Dame du Sacré Coeur, NotreDame, NB. He was a veteran of WWII. He is survived by three sisters, Alvina Meunier (Henrie) of Montreal, Alice Babineau, Marie Babineau (Paul) both of Notre-Dame; three brothers, Gerard of Notre-Dame, Edgar, Freddie (Angela) both of Saint-Antoine; several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by two brothers, Emile, Edouard; one halfsister, Annie Savoie. Resting at Notre-Dame du SacréCoeur Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Notre-Dame with visitation on Thursday, September 4 from 7 to 9 and Friday from 9 to 11:00 am. The funeral service will be held at Notre-Dame du Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Notre-Dame, NB on Friday, September 5, 2003 at 11:15 am. Interment to take place in the Parish Cemetery.
