LEVESQUE, Vernon Lee, Published: 06/25/2003 Selkirk, MB LEVESQUE--Vernon Lee Levesque (nee Trainor) with great sadness our family announces the passing of our Mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Vernon passed away peacefully June 21, 2003 in the Pine Falls Hospital at the age of 79. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Markham (Annette) Lee of Conestogo, Ont., and family Jennifer (Ken) Foster and daughter Savannah of Wilmington, N.C., Heather (Tesh) Nielsen of Conestogo, Ont., Sean Lee of Connestogo, Ont; Son Patrick (Lynn) Lee of St. Andrew's Man., and family Jenna, Kelsey and Christa Lee; Daughter Michael Lee of Waterloo, Ont., and Casey Lee, (Tabby Cat, Extraodinaire). Vernon is survived by brothers, Glen (Betty) Lester and Lorne (Anne) Lester; sister Marina (Jim) Chapel and sister-in-law Helen Trainor. She was predeceased by her mother Laela Ateah-Lester, father Albert Trainor, step father Rex Lester, sister Ellen (Walter) Whyte and brother Bert Trainor. Vernon was born in Winnipeg, Man. February 20, 1924 to Laela (Ateah) and Albert Trainor. Laela later married Rex Lester, who continued to nurture and love Vernon, Ellen and Bert trainor along with their own additions of Glen, Lorne and Marina Lester. Vernon was the grand daughter of pioneers Mr. and Mrs.. Michael Ateah of Victoria Beach. She also continued throughout her life as a pioneer. Her achievements are too many to mention. Her kindness, generosity, and her humor will be fondly remembered by her family, friends and the creatures of the woods. The family wishes to thank the Doctors and staff of the pine Falls hospital for their kindness and care. A special love and thank you to Stella, Liz and home care team from the Lee family. MALENFANT ÉMILIENNE – Des funérailles ont eu lieu pour Émilienne Malenfant, domiciliée à Mattice, décédée des suites d'une longue maladie le 21 juin 2003 à l'Hôpital Notre-Dame de Hearst à l'âge de 67 ans. Née le 9 mai 1936, elle était arrivée dans la région en 1966. Ménagère de métier, elle faisait partie de nombreux organismes dont l'ACFO, la chorale de l'église de Mattice, le club de l'Âge d'or en plus d'être cuisinière pour le mouvement scout. Elle aimait cuisiner, tricoter et jouer avec ses petits-enfants. Eelle était une personne joviale, simple, généreuse et une femême de très grande foi. Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux Roger, six fils : Régis (Joyce) de Mattice, Rino (Jeannine) également de Mattice, Mario (Carol) de Hearst, Gaston (Pamela) de Ste-Anne au Manitoba, Sylvain (Nathalie) et Karl (Lynn) tous de Mattice, trois filles : Fabienne Nault(Serge) de Laval au Québec, Claudine Brunelle (Denis) de Mattice et Diane Malenfant (Ronny) de Hearst, sept soeurs : Irène de St-Hubert au Québec, Ghislaine de St-Honoré au Québec, Brigitte de Rivière-du-Loup au Québec, Aline, Marthe, Yolaine et Yvette, toutes de St-Hubert au Québec, six frères : Rodrigue, Roméo et Léonard, tous trois de St-Hubert au Québec, Réjean de Québec, Normand et Lévis de St-Hubert au Québec, 18 petits-enfants et 3 arrière-petits-enfants. ROY David Stewart passed into the presence of his Lord on Sunday June 22, 2003. Dave was born in Victoria, BC on August 29, 1946 at the Royal Jubilee Hospital. He left Victoria in 1973 to live in the Lower Mainland area where he met his true love Barbara at Heather Bible Chapel. They were married on October 19, 1974 and within six years were blessed with two lovely daughters, Joanna (Shawn) Hetzler and Rosalee (Ben) Glasstetter. For the last two years of David's life he fought a courageous battle with cancer, and on Sunday, June 22 at 4:53 p.m. his Lord and Savior called him Home! John 14:3. David will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Graveside Service will take place on Friday June 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 14660-72 Avenue, Surrey. Memorial Service following at 2:00 p.m. at Tenth Avenue Bible Chapel, 7103-10 Ave. Burnaby. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to the Gideon Bible Society.

Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Diana was a devout Roman Catholic and member for many years at Good Shepherd Church. She was an active member of the CWL and always was ready to help. Diana was an outstanding cook and her many wonderful recipes will remain in many homes as a loving legacy to her life. She was an avid curler and worked at the golf and curling clubs. FERNAND TELLIER 1933 2003 À l'Hôtel-Dieu de Québec du centre hospitalier universitaire du Québec, le 2 juin 2003, est décédé, à l'âge de 70 ans, monsieur Fernand Tellier, époux de Marjolaine Poulin de Sainte-Foy. Il laisse dans le deuil outre son épouse, ses frères Jean (feu Gemma Dubé), Gilbert (feu Jeannine Boutin), Léo (Yvette Desjardins), Marcel (Monique Rochefort), ses soeurs Pâquerette, Lise (Aimé Dorval) et Suzanne (Stuart Nye), les familles Dagenais, Marceau, Paradis et Poulin ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces, parents et de nombreux ami(e)s. Il a été confié au Parc Commémoratif La Souvenance. La famille recevra les condoléances à compter de 10hrs, dimanche le 29 juin 2003, et une cérémonie liturgique suivra en présence des cendres à 11h30 au complexe funéraire du Parc Commémoratif La Souvenance (2e édifice), 301 Rang Ste-Anne (coin rte de l'Aéroport), Quartier Laurentien, Ste-Foy.
